    Design Thinking to Support The Innovative Culture of School Counselors

    Previous research has found the low ability of millennial school counselors in Palembang to innovate. They only carry out activities that have become a tradition and habit (follower), rarely do program development, even they are used to uploading programs that are shared in group chat. That situation was contradicting with the concept of millennial as innovative generation and the opportunities for self-development provided by technological advances. Design thinking can be referred to as a way of expressing creativity to generate innovative ideas. The research aims to conceptualize the design thinking development of an innovative culture of school counselors. The research was conducted on 30 purposive samples, using descriptive methods which are then combined with the design thinking work step. The research resulted in 1) the main need for the development of an innovative culture through design thinking, 2) a prototype for an innovative culture development activity called "Monday briefing"

    LEARNING STYLES PROFILE AND THEIR IMPACT ON LEARNING BEHAVIOR OF ISLAMIC GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING STUDENTS DURING PANDEMIC

    Online learning has followed the learner's modality/learning style. In the context of educational psychology, learning styles have to do with the uniqueness or differences of individuals in learning. Problems that occur when the learning process is not following the learning style are emotional problems, self-efficacy, motivation, etc. This descriptive study aimed to generate a profile of learning styles on research samples, platforms that were often used during online learning, as the trend of learning activities of the samples. Thus, researchers could analyze the relationship between those three variables. The study population and sample were 120 guidance and counseling study program students in the 6th semester. This research used questionnaires as research instruments. The results showed that online learning during the pandemic was not following student learning styles in Islamic guidance and counseling programs, so it had an impact on students’ burnout and learning procrastination. Kinesthetic learning style was the learning style that most respondents had (49.17%). Meanwhile, the learning activity that was often carried out was listening through Zoom meetings. This mismatch had an impact on student interaction, engagement, interests, and motivation. Guidance and counseling courses could emphasize project-based learning activities using the TPACK model. Thus, students could conduct experiments collaboratively with diverse learning styles

    Penelitian dilatarbelkangi oleh fungsi program bimbingan dan konseling komunitas untuk mendukung penciptaan lingkungan yang kondusif bagi positive youth development (PYD) anggota komunitas schoolzone. Tujuan dari penelitian ialah menghasilkan program bimbingan dan konseling komunitas yang tepat untuk mendukung PYD pada anggota komunitas schoolzone di Radio SE 88.1 FM Bandung. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan partisipatoris. Penelitian dilakukan di Radio SE 88.1 FM Bandung dengan subjek penelitian anggota komunitas schoolzone, yaitu komunitas remaja yang memiliki ketertarikan dalam bidang penyiaran radio. Penelitian menghasilkan program bimbingan dan konseling komunitas yang tepat untuk mendukung PYD berdasarkan refleksi terhadap dua siklus tindakaan. Rekomendasi ditujukan kepada 1) anggota komunitas untuk mempertahankan kompetensi yang dicapai selama intervensi, 2) Radio SE 88.1 FM untuk menggunakan pola pembinaan komunitas berdasarkan tindakan pada penelitian, 3) praktisi bimbingan dan konseling yang akan melakukan bimbingan dan konseling komunitas untuk mendukung PYD agar memiliki keterampilan memahami karakterstik keterampilan psikologis yang dibutuhkan anggota, memahami pola interkasi, dan mampu melibatkan berbagai pihak dalam proses bimbingan konseling komunitas, serta 4) peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengintegrasikan bimbigan dan konseling komunitas dengan aspek akademik anggota komunitas, sehingga mencapai PYD yang menyeluruh dalam setiap aspek kehidupan.----------The study aims to find the accurately community counseling program to promote the positive youth development (PYD) of schoolzone community members, at SE 88.1 FM Radio Bandung. Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches, with participatory action research methods. The study was did at SE 88.1 FM Radio Bandung, with subjects are schoolzone community members, youth community that interested to broadcasting world . The instrument used was adapted from inventory of Positive Youth Development , that justified by experts of measurement, adolescent development, and language. The result is acurately community counseling program to promote positive youth development, taken from reflection of two action cycle. Recommendations addressed to 1) members of the community to maintain competence that achieved during program, 2) SE Radio 88.1 FM to use patterns of community development, based on research finding, 3) counseling practitioners who will perform guidance and counseling community to support the PYD have to understanding the characteristics of the psychological skills that needed by members, understand the patterns of interaction, and capable to involving the various people in community counseling programs, and 4) further research to integrate community counseling with the academic fields of community members, in order to get positive youth development in the entire aspects of life

    Identifikasi kendala guru BK kelompok millenials dalam menggunakan ICT di kota Palembang

    Generasi milenial merupakan generasi dengan adaptasi dan kemampuan teknologi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya. Guru BK kelompok generasi millenials diharapkan memiliki mobilitas tinggi sebagai pengguna perkembangan teknologi informasi (Information and Communication Technologies) ICT. Namun, tidak semua Guru BK memiliki kemampuan menggunakan ICT. Karena itu, penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kendala yang dirasakan oleh Guru BK dalam menggunakan ICT. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif kepada 33 orang guru BK di Kota Palembang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa kendala yang dimiliki gruru BK antara lain 1). Kebiasaan guru BK yang mayoritas masih mendownload program BK untuk dijadikan program BK di sekolah yang bersangkutan, 2). Guru BK Guru BK langsung membagikan konten yang menjadi trending topic  di internet kepada siswa tanpa menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa, 3). Kesulitan dalam menggunakan media bimbingan dan konseling karena terbatasnya fasilitas sekolah & kesulitan mendapatkan materi layanan yang kekinian karena terbatasnya informasi

    The majority of school counsellors in Palembang are millenial generations. Millennial is known as a dynamic and skilled generation in technology, but also feared the loyalty and commitment to work. Therefore, the research aims to illustrate the characteristics of a millennial school counselor in Palembang in a factual way. The research uses the survey method, to get an accurate and clear picture of the different aspects of the millennial school counselor in Palembang. Results found that 1) Personally, the school counselor is able to keep up with changes and are accustomed to improving professionalism, 2) socially involved in school activities, but lack of external collaboration, and difficult to understand the conditions of students, and 3 ) capable of technology, but low in innovating.  Research implicates the development of theory and practice of management and supervision of guidance and counseling and the development of the profession Counselor in the 4.0 er

    Implementasi layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah dasar untuk mengembangkan kemandirian siswa

    Penelitian dilakukan untuk menemukan pola implementasi dari pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling di SD Xaverius 7, khususnya dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah collaborative action research, yaitu peneliti beserta guru berkolaborasi dalam pelaksanaan laynan bk yang terintegrasi dengan PBM. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) layanan bimbingan dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan berbagai bentuk permainan yang dilakukan sebelum / sesudah pembelajaran, 2) Jurnal harian siswa (mencatat dan menilai kegiatan harian siswa) dilakukan sebagai strategi manajemen kelas dalam mengembangkan kemandirian, 3) Layanan Konseling tetap harus dilakukan oleh Konselor profesional. Setelah implementasi, taraf kemandirian berada pada kategori inisiatif. Kunci keberhasilan dari layanan bimbingan ialah kemampuan guru dalam membangun dialog interaktif selama permaianan maupun evaluasi jurnal harian (catatan kegiatan siswa).

    Kemampuan berperilaku etis siswa saat ini mengalami penurunan yang ditandai dengan  seringnya membuat gaduh di kelas sehingga mengganggu kelas yang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah pembuatan film pendek dapat mempengaruhi perilaku siswa dalam beretika di Sekolah Mengah Atas Negeri 1 Tungkal Ilir.Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode pre-experimental design one-group pre-test-post-test design. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas XI IPS 1 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembuatan film pendek efektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku etis siswa, dilihat dari analisis data statistik didapat bahwa berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan (α) 0,05 dan dk = 25 − 1 = 24 didapatkan nilai thitung = 8,3172. Penelitian membuktikan dengan membuat film pendek siswa menyadari dan memahami baik buruknya perilaku. Pembuatan film pendek ini dapat dijadikan media bagi pelayanan bimbingan klasikal di kelas lai

    Technology Framework in Guidance And Counseling Services

    Much research has been done on guidance and counseling technology but only focuses on proving the effectiveness of technology applications in counseling. Unfortunately, research has yet to be found focusing on the proper framework for utilizing technology in guidance and counseling. This paper aims to formulate a framework for using technology in counseling services. A systematic literature review analyzes and combines information from various sources to obtain a comprehensive concept. Reference search results from 2011-2022 using published or perish (PoP) identified 69 references that met the literature criteria. The results of the study show that the use of technology in counseling must be oriented towards improving service quality by paying attention to the aspects: 1) Cultural and communication processes that will occur through technological devices, 2) Provisions and procedures for using technology-based services are to be agreed upon, 3) Readiness of technical knowledge from counselors as a service manager, 4) User experience in the technology application used

    Improving Student Career Adaptability Through Microblogs

    The research was motivated by the need for career adaptability development for UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten students to be able to anticipate problems such as discovering the desired field of work and the difficult task of job searching. Microblogs make it easier for students to find and utilize career information online and increase awareness of career opportunities and challenges. This study examines the effectiveness of microblogs in improving students' career adaptability. The method used is quasi-experimental. The research population is UIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Banten students who are followers of the Instagram handle @unitkarir_uinsmhbanten, totaling 549 people. The sample used is 15% of the total population, 82 people, who were selected randomly. Research data on career adaptability was obtained using the career adaptability scale, which refers to the construct of Mark L. Savickas. The results showed that microblogs were proven to significantly improve students' career adaptability, based on tstat (35,039) > ttable (1.66365), and sig = 0.000 ttabel (1.66365), serta nilai sig = 0.000 < 0.05. Rata rata perubahan career adaptability (N-Gain) yang diperloeh adalah 62%. Aspek career adaptability  yang paling meningkat setelah mahasiswa mengikuti microblog adalah career control, selanjutnya diikuti oleh aspek career curiosity, dan career concern.

    AbstrakPenelitian dilatar belakangi oleh kekuatan bimbingan dan konseling komunitas sebagai model layanan yang tepat bagi kegiatan Bimbingan Dan Konseling Luar Sekolah (BKLS), dan mampu membantu dalam memelihara kesehatan mental masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ialah menghasilkan model bimbingan dan konseling komunitas yang tepat, sehingga dapat mengurangi kebingungan mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan BKLS terutama di wilayah kelurahan 30 Ilir. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan partisipatoris , yang dilakukan di Kelurahan 30 Ilir Palembang, dengan subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa peserta BKLS di kelurahaan tersebut. Penelitian menghasilkan program bimbingan dan konseling komunitas yang tepat berdasarkan refleksi terhadap setiap siklus tindakaan. Rekomendasi ditujukan kepada 1) Mahasiswakegiatan BKLS agar meningkatkan kreatifitas dan kepekaan terhadap fenomena yang berkembang di masyarakat, serta memiliki keterampilan memahami karakterstik keterampilan psikologis yang dibutuhkan masyarakat, memahami pola interkasi, dan mampu melibatkan berbagai pihak dalam proses bimbingan konseling komunitas, 2) Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling untuk mensosialisasikan dan mengenalkan pola bimbingan dan konseling komunitas sebagai model layanan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan BKLS, yang dapat diberikan pada pembekalan maupun terintergrasi pada mata kuliah patalogi sosial dan bimbingan dan konseling terapan.Kata kunci: Bimbingan konseling komunitas, Bimbingan Konseling Luar Sekolah
