The Effect Of Discovery Models With Blended Learning Strategies Assisted By Crossword Puzzle Media On Understanding Physics Concepts
This study aims to see the effect of the application of discovery learning models with blended learning strategies assisted by Crossword Puzzle media on the ability to understand students' physics concepts by choosing. This study used a pre-experimental method with a one-shot case study design consisting of 1 experimental class as a sample class which was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Botupingge. The data obtained were in the form of understanding students' physics concepts on the material of vibration, waves, and sound which were netted using a multiple-choice test sheet as many as 20 items. The overall research results show that the application of discovery learning models with blended learning strategies assisted by Crossword Puzzle media has a significant effect on students' ability to understand physics concepts which is shown by proving the hypothesis test that the value of t table> t count which states that the lowest student learning outcomes are 75, where from the total sample of 69 respondents, 82.61% or 57 respondents scored above 75
The Effect of Discovery Learning Based on Blended Learning on Student Learning Outcomes at SMA Negeri 1 Boliyohuto
This study aims to determine the effect of the blended learning-based discovery learning model on student learning outcomes on sound waves. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research method is an experiment using one experimental class and two replication classes. This research was carried out in SMA Negeri 1 Boliyohuto in class XI IPA 1 with a total of 25 students, class XI IPA 2 with a total of 26 students, and class XI IPA 4 with a total of 27 students. The data collection of learning outcomes is based on the test results. Research data analysis using normality test, hypothesis testing, and n-gain test. Based on hypothesis testing, the experimental class obtained tcount 5.97 and ttable 2.78, replication class 1 obtained tcount 7.76 and ttable 2.77, and replication class 2 obtained tcount 6.25 and ttable 2.77. The hypothesis from the three classes H0 received because tcount>ttable. It influences the blended learning-based discovery learning model on student learning outcomes on sound wave material with high n-gain
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA MATERI KONSEP GERAK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR KOGNITIF SISWA (SMP MUHAMMADIYAH 3 KOTA GORONTALO)
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen hanya menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest design. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Kota Gorontalo kelas VIII dengan subjek penelitian kelas VIII B dengan jumlah siswa 29. Pengumpulan data hasil belajar dilakukan berdasarkan penilaian hasil test. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji normalitas, uji hipotesis dan uji n-gain. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis diketahui harga thitung dan ttabel pada kelas VIII B yaitu ttabel 9,41602E-20 dan thitung -23,0583018 maka dapat disimpulkan berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis pada kelas VIII B yaitu thitung t-table at a level of = 0,05. Therefore, h0 is accepted, and h1 is rejected. In other words, the discovery learning model influences students’ cognitive learning outcomes in grade VIII B of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Gorontalo City. Based on the average pretest score of 13,84 and posttest of 52,33, it can be concluded that there is an increase in student’s cognitive learning outcomes using the discovery learning model on the concept of motion material. Based on testing with a normalized gain (N-Gain) score of 0,5. This shows that learning using the discovery learning model positively influences moderate N-Gain criteria. The Effect of Local Wisdom Based Learning Media on Science Process Skills in Straight Motion Material
The purpose of the study was to determine the use of local wisdom-based learning media on science process skills in straight motion material in junior high school. This study used a two-group experimental design, namely between the experimental group and the control group. Sampling in this study used a random sampling technique to determine the class that would be the experimental group and the control group. The population in this study were all students of class VIII who collected 62 students consisting of 2 classes, namely class B and C of SMP Negeri I Marisa, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province. The results obtained that the effect of learning using media based on local wisdom in terms of increasing the ability of students' science processes on the material of straight motion. This is indicated by the average value of the Post-test for both classes, namely the Experiment class of 85.34 and the control class of 64.73, in addition, based on the results of tcount of 6.60 which is greater than ttable, which is 2.80 meaning Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected and the significant value is obtained by 0.000 <0.005 so that it is obtained that the Local Wisdom-Based Media has an effect on the Science Process Ability of Students at SMP Negeri 1 Marisa
Learning Physics Using a Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach to Children with Physical Impairment
This study aims to see the effect of the Contextual teaching and learning model on science learning for disabled children. The learning devices use the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach and the PBI (Problem Based Instruction) learning model for disabled children in class X SMA which consists of the syllabus , RPP, LKPD, teaching materials and competency assessment. This research is a type of research and development using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. This study uses data collection consisting of expert validation, observation, interviews and tests. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the learning tools that had been developed met the appropriate criteria and could be used with minor revisions. Decent learning tools were obtained from validation results by 3 validators who were test lecturers, while the effectiveness of the devices was obtained from several indicators, namely learning implementation with an average of 93.93%, student activity with an average of 86.9%. Practicality of learning devices in problem-based learning implementation in contextual teaching and learning approach
This study aimed to describe the practicality of physics learning tools with a problem-based learning model with a contextual teaching and learning approach. The research was conducted at Muhammadiyah Batudaa high school, and the research sample used was class XI using a simple random sampling technique. This development research uses the ADDIE model developed by Reiser and Mollenda, which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The practicality test is carried out at the implementation stage. The results showed that the average percentage of the implementation of learning carried out for two meetings using a problem-based learning model with a contextual teaching and learning approach reached 97.619% with very good criteria. Then for teacher responses, 100% agreed through a teacher response questionnaire, and for student responses, 83% gave positive responses through student response questionnaires. In conclusion, physics learning tools that use a problem-based learning model with contextual teaching and learning approaches are practical to be applied in the physics learning process
Analysis of Supporting and Inhibiting Factors of Students' Critical Thinking Ability at Islamic Elementary School
This research is motivated by the many factors influencing students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to review the supporting and inhibiting factors for students' critical thinking skills at MIN 4 Sukoharjo, Kab. Sukoharjo, Central Java. This research is descriptive with the type of qualitative research and data collection through interviews and observation. The resource person interviewed was one of the class VI teachers at MIN 4 Sukoharjo. The research showed several supporting and inhibiting factors for students' critical thinking skills at MIN 4 Sukoharjo. The results of the research are in the form of supporting factors for students' critical thinking skills as follows: (1) School facilities in the form of Indonesian Madrasah Competency Assessment/Asesmen Kompetensi Madrasah Indonesia (AKMI) books for class V; (2) Implementing the 2013 Curriculum; (3) School policies that free teachers to explore students, and (4) Selection of appropriate learning methods and models. Meanwhile, the results of the research were in the form of inhibiting factors for students' critical thinking skills as follows: (1) The facilities provided for those other than class V were only in the form of providing HOTS questions based on the subject by each teacher; (2) Teachers are less creative and innovative which causes learning activities to be not conducive; (3) the intellectual level of students and limited learning time, and (4) teachers do not master I
