    The number of solutions for random regular NAE-SAT

    Recent work has made substantial progress in understanding the transitions of random constraint satisfaction problems. In particular, for several of these models, the exact satisfiability threshold has been rigorously determined, confirming predictions of statistical physics. Here we revisit one of these models, random regular k-NAE-SAT: knowing the satisfiability threshold, it is natural to study, in the satisfiable regime, the number of solutions in a typical instance. We prove here that these solutions have a well-defined free energy (limiting exponential growth rate), with explicit value matching the one-step replica symmetry breaking prediction. The proof develops new techniques for analyzing a certain "survey propagation model" associated to this problem. We believe that these methods may be applicable in a wide class of related problems

    [ES] En diciembre de 2019, estalló un nuevo tipo de neumonía por coronavirus en Wuhan, China, y se propagó rápidamente por toda China y muchos países de todo el mundo en enero de 2020. En la actualidad, el número de personas infectadas en China ha superado los 70,000. Debido a la gran cantidad de personas infectadas, el personal médico y las instalaciones médicas son extremadamente escasos. Con el fin de aliviar el problema, el gobierno decidió establecer dos hospitales especializados de emergencia en enfermedades infecciosas a corto plazo, en lugar de establecer clínicas generales, que solo aceptan pacientes con un nuevo tipo de neumonía por coronavirus. Las enfermedades infecciosas agudas repentinas afectan seriamente la estabilidad social y representan una seria amenaza para la salud humana. Durante la epidemia, para aislar y tratar profesionalmente a los pacientes, evitar que la enfermedad se propague rápidamente y mejorar la tasa de ingresos y tratamientos hospitalarios, aumentar el número de camas de hospital. En l'actualitat, el nombre de persones infectades a la Xina ha superat els 70,000. A causa de la gran quantitat de persones infectades, el personal mèdic i les instal·lacions mèdiques són extremadament escassos. Amb la finalitat d'alleujar el problema, el govern va decidir establir dos hospitals especialitzats d'emergència en malalties infeccioses a curt termini, en lloc d'establir clíniques generals, que només accepten pacients amb un nou tipus de pneumònia per coronavirus. Les malalties infeccioses agudes sobtades afecten seriosament l'estabilitat social i representen una seriosa amenaça per a la salut humana. Durant l'epidèmia, per a aïllar i tractar professionalment als pacients, evitar que la malaltia es propague ràpidament i millorar la taxa d'ingressos i tractaments hospitalaris, augmentar el nombre de llits d'hospital. És molt important construir urgentment un hospital professional especialitzat en malalties infeccioses. La construcció d'aquesta mena d'hospital ha de tindre un període de construcció curt i alta eficiència. This area is critical because anomalies may lead to a reduction in network efficiency. The origin of these anomalies may be a technical problem in a cell or a fraudulent intrusion in the network. Usually, they need to be identified and fixed as soon as possible. Therefore, in order to identify these anomalies, data-driven systems using machine learning algorithms are developed with the aim from the raw data to identify and alert the occurrence of anomalies. Unsupervised learning methods can spontaneously describe the data structure and derive network patterns, which is effective for identifying unintended anomalous behavior and detecting new types of anomalies in a timely manner. In this paper, we use different unsupervised models to analyze traffic data in wireless networks, focusing on models that analyze traffic data combined with timeline information. The factor analysis method is used to derive the results of factor analysis, obtain the three major public factors and comprehensive factor scores, and combine the results with the BP neural network model to conduct a nonlinear simulation study on local governmental debt risk. A potential semantic analysis model based on Gaussian probability is presented and compared with other methods, and experimental results show that this model can provide a robust, over-the-top anomaly detection in a fully automated, data-driven solution

    Decolourization of remazol brilliant blue R by enzymatic extract and submerged cultures of a newly isolated Pleurotus ostreatus MR3

    A local white-rot fungus basidiomycete Pleurotus ostreatus MR3 was isolated from MacRitchie Reservoir Park, Singapore. Among all the ligninolytic activities, laccase was the only enzyme detected in the supernatant when the fungus was grown in liquid culture. This newly isolated white rot fungus was able to completely decolourise remazol brilliant blue R (RBBR) in-vivo on agar plates within five days and in the liquid culture (in the presence of inducers) within three days. The addition of inducers was able to enhance laccase production and therefore enhanced in-vivo RBBR decolourisation. Veratryl alcohol was shown to be the best inducer for laccase production with the maximum laccase activity reaching about 5.99 U/mL. Cu2+ also had a positive effect on laccase production, the laccase activity being enhanced to 5.24 U/mL.     Tryptophan residue of plasmid-encoded Pgp3 is important for Chlamydia muridarum to induce hydrosalpinx in mice

    The crucial role of plasmid-encoded protein Pgp3 in Chlamydia pathogenesis has been demonstrated in various animal models. Previous studies have revealed that the Pgp3-deficient C. muridarum mutant fails to induce hydrosalpinx after vaginal inoculation in mice. Structural analysis of C. trachomatis Pgp3 trimer has indicated that Trp234 may play a critical role in trimeric crystal packing interactions and that Tyr197 is involved at predominant cation-binding sites. In this study, we constructed C. muridarum transformants harboring Pgp3, Trp234, or Tyr197 point mutations (Pgp3W234A and Pgp3Y197A). C3H/HeJ mice infected with Pgp3W234A mutant failed to induce severe hydrosalpinx in the oviduct tissue, which largely phenocopied the full-length Pgp3-deficient C. muridarum. The Pgp3Y197A variant induced an intermediate severity of pathology. The attenuated pathogenicity caused by the Pgp3W234A mutant may be due to its decreased survival in the lower genital tracts of mice, reduced ascension to the oviduct, and milder induction of inflammatory cell infiltration in the oviduct tissue. Thus, our results point to an important amino acid residue involved in Pgp3 virulence, providing a potential therapeutic target for chlamydial infection

    The Structural Integrity of Plasmid-Encoded Pgp3 Is Essential for Induction of Hydrosalpinx by Chlamydia muridarum

    Pgp3 consists of globular N- and C-terminal domains connected by a triple-helical coiled-coil middle domain. We demonstrated previously that Pgp3 is required for induction of hydrosalpinx by Chlamydia muridarum. We constructed C. muridarum transformants harboring deletion of the Pgp3 N-terminus (pgp3Δn), C-terminus (pgp3Δc), or middle domain (pgp3Δm). C3H/HeJ and CBA/J mice infected with pgp3Δn or pgp3Δm failed to induce hydrosalpinx in oviduct tissue. However, the pgp3Δc transformant induced mild hydrosalpinx in 20% of C3H/HeJ mice (severity score 0.2 ± 0.6) and in 40% of CBA/J mice (severity score 0.8 ± 1.3). The attenuated pathogenicity of the transformants harboring Pgp3 domain deletions was correlated with impaired in vitro growth and significantly reduced infectivity in the mouse lower genital tract. Moreover, the oviduct tissue of C3H/HeJ and CBA/J mice infected with the Pgp3-domain-deficient transformants displayed less inflammatory cell infiltration. Thus, the structural integrity of plasmid-encoded Pgp3 is essential for induction of hydrosalpinx by C. muridarum
