    Abstract: Effectiveness Of Rice Husk Ash And Poly Aluminum Chloride In Reducing Exposure Colour Liquid Waste Industry Sasirangan. Sasirangan fabric industry is the textile of industry in Kalimantan Selatan produce wastewater of dyeing cloth sasirangan process that uses water as a primary adjuvant in stage process.The study aims to determine the effectiveness of rice husk ash and Poly Aluminium Chloridereduce levels of dyes in wastewater sasirangan "Oriens Handycraft". This study tested a laboratory scale with dose variation of rice husk ash and Poly Aluminium Chloride for reduced levels of dyes in wastewater sasirangan. The study design is a randomized pretest - posttest control group design. The population of the waste liquid fabric manufacturesasirangan results and samples are the waste from the manufacture of cloth sasirangan which represents the population. This study conduct statistical tests usingKruskal Wallis and Mann-Whitney Test.Theresultsofthestudyof color levels priorto treatment equal to 2,712 PtCo and after treatment ranges from 676.3 to 978.7 PtCo at a dose of 58 grams of rice husk ash; 59 g; 60 g; 61 g; 62 gr and Poly Aluminium Chloride 0.5 gr. For a dose of 58 grams of rice husk ash; 59 g; 60 g; 61 g; 62 gr and Poly Aluminium Chloride 1 g of color levels before treatment and after PtCo 1775 amounted to 227.7 PtCo ranges up to 240 PtCo. Rice husk ash and Poly Aluminium Chloride effective at pH 6.5 - 7. Results of normality test showed abnormal data. Kruskal Wallis test probability value 0.002 <0.05, there is a difference between the average dosing in the control group and the treatment group and the Mann-Whitney Test probability value of 0.009 (0.018 <0.05), the rice husk ash dosing and Poly Aluminium Chloride 1 g more effective than rice husk ash dosing and Poly Aluminium Chloride 0.5 g.Efforts government can do is provide the appropriate policy on effluent quality standards and attention to industrial waste disposal sasirangan.     To outline further genetic mechanisms of transformation from follicular lymphoma (FL) to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), we have performed whole genome array-CGH in 81 tumors from 60 patients [29 de novo DLBCL (dnDLBCL), 31 transformed DLBCL (tDLBCL), and 21 antecedent FL]. In 15 patients, paired tumor samples (primary FL and a subsequent tDLBCL) were available, among which three possessed more than two subsequent tumors, allowing us to follow specific genetic alterations acquired before, during, and after the transformation. Gain of 2p15-16.1 encompassing, among others, the REL, BCL11A, USP34, COMMD1, and OTX1 genes was found to be more common in the tDLBCL compared with dnDLBCL (P &lt; 0.001). Furthermore, a high-level amplification of 2p15-16.1 was also detected in the FL stage prior to transformation, indicating its importance during the transformation event. Quantitative real-time PCR showed a higher level of amplification of REL, USP34, and COMMD1 (all involved in the NF kappa B-pathway) compared with BCL11A, which indicates that the altered genes disrupting the NF kappa B pathway may be the driver genes of transformation rather than the previously suggested BCL11A. Moreover, a 17q21.33 amplification was exclusively found in tDLBCL, never in FL (P &lt; 0.04) or dnDLBCL, indicating an upregulation of genes of importance during the later phase of transformation. Taken together, our study demonstrates potential genomic markers for disease progression to clinically more aggressive forms. We also confirm the importance of the TP53-, CDKN2A-, and NF kappa B-pathways for the transformation from FL to DLBCL

Social media and email marketing are potent strategies for cultivating consumer engagement. This engagement plays a crucial role in influencing the frequency of customers' intent to make purchases. Furthermore, these marketing methods are characterized by their user-friendly nature and resilience.&nbsp; Digital marketing technologies provide organizations with a convenient means to effectively promote their products and foster customer relationships at a reduced cost, resulting in heightened sales volume.     This study sets out to understand the variables influencing customer retention for a company that is involved in the insurance and Takaful services specifically, Sixma Group Sdn Bhd. The objectives of this study are to carry out the situational analysis for Sixma Group, to identify the factors that influence customer retention towards products and services and to recommend viable strategies for Sixma Group based on the findings of the study. The target respondents were those who do have insurance or Takaful policies in general and a total of 105 questionnaires were collected through a convenient sampling method. The data collected were interpreted by using four methods namely reliability test, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis. From the findings of this study, it was found that there is strong significant relationship between reputation with customer retention. The key findings in this study provide significant insights regarding the effects of price, service and reputation on customer retention in the insurance and Takaful industry. For future researchers, it is possible to replicate and compare this study in other service sectors such as banking and financial institution

    Melatonin ameliorates ketoconazole-induced increase in thyroid function

    Background The antithyroid effect of ketoconazole has been reported. The secretion and action of melatonin in the thyroid gland are also known. However, the possible effect of melatonin on ketoconazole-induced antithyroid effect is unknown. Objective We sought to investigate the modulatory effect of ketoconazole and/or melatonin on thyroid function in female rats. Methods Groups 1-4 of female rats respectively underwent 14-day treatment with normal saline, 25 mg/kg ketoconazole, 4 mg/kg melatonin and 10 mg/kg melatonin. Groups 5 and 6 both received 14-day treatment with ketoconazole and were respectively treated with 4 mg/kg melatonin and 10 mg/kg melatonin simultaneously. Groups 7 and 8 respectively underwent 14-day pretreatment with 4 mg/kg melatonin and 10 mg/kg melatonin, followed by 14-day administration of ketoconazole to both groups. Groups 9 and 10 were both treated with ketoconazole for 14 days, followed by respective 14-day administration of 4 mg/kg melatonin and 10 mg/kg melatonin. Results TSH, T3, T4, and iodine concentrations were increased by separate administration of ketoconazole and either dose of melatonin when compared to control. However, pre-treatment or post-treatment of ketoconazole-treated rats with melatonin abolished the ketoconazole-induced increase in TSH, T3, T4, and iodine while co-administration of ketoconazole with melatonin caused no improvement in the ketoconazole-induced increase in TSH, T3, and T4 except iodine concentration. Conclusion Ketoconazole increased thyroid function, which was ameliorated by pre- or post-treatment with melatonin, possibly via modulation of the iodination process.     Catalytic mechanism of the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene over Fe-Co/Mg(Al)O derived from hydrotalcites

    Catalytic mechanism of ethylbenzene dehydrogenation over Fe-Co/Mg(Al)O derived from hydrotalcites has been studied based on the XAFS and XPS catalyst characterization and the FTIR measurements of adsorbed species. Fe-Co/Mg(Al)O showed synergy, whereas Fe-Ni/Mg(Al)O showed no synergy, in the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene. Ni species were stably incorporated as Ni(2+) in the regular sites in periclase and spinel structure in the Fe-Ni/Mg(Al)O. Contrarily, Co species exists as a mixture of Co(3+)/Co(2+) in the Fe-Co/Mg(Al)O and was partially isolated from the regular sites in the structures with increasing the Co content. Co addition enhanced Lewis acidity of Fe(3+) active sites by forming Fe(3+)-O-Co(3+/2+)(1/1) bond, resulting in an increase in the activity. FTIR of ethylbenzene adsorbed on the Fe-Co/Mg(Al)O clearly showed formations of C-O bond and pi-adsorbed aromatic ring. This suggests that ethylbenzene was strongly adsorbed on the Fe(3+) acid sites via pi-bonding and the dehydrogenation was initiated by alpha-H(+) abstraction from ethyl group on Mg(2+)-O(2-) basic sites, followed by C-O-Mg bond formation. The alpha-H(+) abstraction by O(2-)(-Mg(2+)) was likely followed by beta-H abstraction, leading to the formations of styrene and H(2). Such catalytic mechanism by the Fe(3+) acid-O(2-)(-Mg(2+)) base couple and the Fe(3+)/Fe(2+) reduction-oxidation cycle was further assisted by Co(3+)/Co(2+), leading to a good catalytic activity for the dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene

Cahaya ini membolehkan kita menjalani kehidupan yang penuh ketidakpastian dan menemukan suatu keseimbangan batin, hidup secara kreatif “meskipun” ada ketidakpastian, melainkan adanya ketidakpastian yang penuh ilham. Arah cahaya yang salah boleh memberi kesan kecacatan bagi yang memahaminya.
