Teachers’ Teaching Belief in Vocabulary Based on Flash Card at Kindergarten of Bambini School
SUKMAWATI. Teacher‟s Teaching Belief in Vocabulary Based on Flash Card at
Kindergarten of Bambini School.
This research conducted to describe the teacher‟s belief and the
implementation of teaching vocabulary using flash cards at kindergarten students of
Bambini School Makassar. The researcher employed qualitative method with the
interview and observation as the instrument.
To obtain the data, the researcher prepared the interview about the teacher‟s
hold perspective teaching using flash cards and the recording of observation to three
teachers of Bambini school, they are teacher of KA1, KA2 and KB. The researcher
did the interview to the teachers and observe the teachers‟ and students‟ activity in
the learning process from the first to the last day of teaching activity. The students‟
activity was taken from three different classes, they are class of KA1, KA2 and KB.
The result of the interview reveals that there are three aspects of teachers‟
hold perspective teaching vocabulary using flash cards namely: teacher‟s
transmission perspective, teacher‟s nurturing perspective, and teacher‟s
apprenticeship perspective implemented by flash cards, while the result of
observational recording shows the teacher‟s teaching method namely : recognizing
letters and its sound, blending sound, identifying phonics sound, doing phonics sheet,
spelling words, singing songs, playing games, explaining word meaning, giving
review, leading to read, and doing dictation sheet.
Teachers are able to implement their perspective teaching by preparing some
methods and strategies to support the learning process. The more strategies they
prepare, the better creativity they create to help the students comprehend their
subject. By exploring their ideas in the activity instructions that full of movement,
games and songs, students can understand and enjoy the teaching of vocabularies
using flash cards.

PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS XI AP2 SMK NEGERI 1 SINJAI MELALUI STRATEGI BELAJAR POLA BERGILIR
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran, khususnya untuk dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa berkomunikasi menggunakan wacana lisan untuk mengungkapkan pikiran, perasaan, dan penyampaian informasi melalui penerapan strategi belajar pola bergilir dengan teknik diskusi kelompok dan pemeranan drama. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI.AP.2. SMK Negeri 1 Sinjai semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2007/2008 berjumlah 33 orang, yang terdiri atas 14 laki-laki dan 19 perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan siswa berkomunikasi dengan menggunakan wacana lisan untuk mengungkapkan pikiran, perasaan, dan penyampaian informasi pada siklus I pertemuan ke–1 sebesar 18,10 persen berada pada kategori rendah; 36,40 persen berada pada kategori sedang; 36,40 persen berada pada kategori tinggi, dan 9,10 persen berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Pada pertemuan ke–2 sebesar 9,10 persen berada pada kategori rendah; 48,50 persen berada pada kategori sedang; 30,30 persen berada pada kategori tinggi; dan 12,10 persen berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Pada siklus II, yang berada pada kategori sedang mencapai 24,3 persen, pada kategori tinggi mencapai 42,4 persen, dan yang berada pada kategori sangat tinggi mencapai 33,3 persen
EVALUASI PROGRAM SUPERVISI DI SDN NO. 29 PONTIANAK KOTA
Penelitian ini mengangkat judul yaitu Evaluasi Program Supervisi Pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri No. 29 Pontianak Kota. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi tentang pelaksanaan Supervisi Pendidikan melalui formatif-sumatif evaluation model. Dengan menggunakan model evaluasi ini, peneliti akan mengetahui seberapa jauh program supervisi yang dirancang dapat berlangsung, sekaligus mengidentifikasi hambatan. Dengan mengetahui hambatan dan mengetahui hal-hal yang menyebabkan program tidak lancar, pengambilan keputusan secara dini dapat mengadakan perbaikan yang mendukung pencapaian tujuan program supervisi di sekolah. Selanjutnya untuk memperoleh data tersebut peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan panduan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumen-dokumen yang mendukung data penelitian. Setelah data terkumpul akan dianalisis dengan mengacu kepada pendapat Milles Hubermen sebagai berikut: 1. Reduksi Data, 2. Penyajian Data, dan 3. Penarikan Kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di SDN No. 29 Pontianak Kota setelah dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan formatif-sumatif evaluasi model, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepala sekolah telah melaksanakan supervisi akademik dengan baik pada waktu semester ganjil, ketika akan melaksanakan supervisi pada semester genap, sekolah mendapat kendala dengan adanya wabah COVID-19, sehingga supervisi tidak dapat dilaksanakan secara maksimal. Saran yang diberikan untuk SDN No. 29 Pontianak Kota yaitu agar supervisi akademik dapat dilaksanakan secara efektif dan efisien, karena dampak dari kegiatan supervisi ini cukup berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran.  Kata Kunci: Evaluasi Program Supervisi, Pendidika
Evaluation of Teacher Professional Development Program at Elementary School 34 South Pontianak
The purpose of conducting this research was to evaluate the implementation of the teacher professional development program at SDN 34 Pontianak Selatan. It hopes that this research will be helpful to provide input and suggestions for the professional development of teachers in general and in particular at SDN 34 Pontianak Selatan. This development can become a role model for schools in the vicinity. This research used a descriptive method. Descriptive is a problem-solving procedure that is investigated by describing the state of the object of the research at present as it is. Based on the opinion above, the researcher used a descriptive method by looking for data about the implementation of the Teacher Professional Development Program at SDN 34 Pontianak Selatan by using the Goal-Oriented Evaluation Model. The data obtained in this research is narrative sentences, documents, and images from observations. Antibacterial Activities of Seaweed (Eucheuma cottonii ) Extract Against Escherichia coli Bacteria
Indonesia is a maritime country that has more than 70% of its territory dominated by oceans and is a marine area that has abundant natural resources, one of which is Eucheuma cottonii. The content of compounds by E. cottonii has many benefits, the compound content of E.cottonii is a phenolic compound (flavonoids). Flavonoids found in seaweed E. cottonii are secondary metabolite compounds that can produce antibacterial activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of seaweed extract (E. cottonii) against Escherichia coli bacteria. The method that has been used in this research is descriptive method, including extraction, maceration, antibacterial activity test. The results of this study stated that the antibacterial activity of E. cottonii seaweed extract was able to inhibit the growth of E. coli bacteria. The highest antibacterial activity was found at a concentration of 50% ppm dry extract solution with a methanol solvent of 3.3 mm while the lowest antibacterial activity was found at a concentration of 5% ppm wet extract solution with a methanol solvent whose inhibitory activity value was 0.1 mm. Furthermore, the antibacterial activity test for positive control showed a strong inhibitory value of 7.8 mm, while the negative control did not indicate any inhibitory value against E. coli bacteria
EVALUASI TERHADAP TENAGA PENDIDIK DAN TENAGA KEPENDIDIKAN DI SMA TUNAS BANGSA KUBU RAYA
AbstrakThis study aims to investigate the implementation of standardized school management using a discrepancy evaluation model at SMA Tunas Bangsa. This article seeks if there are any discrepancies between expectation and reality in implementing standardized school management. Drawing on the descriptive method, data of this study were garnered from interviews, observation, and some related documents. Anchored in Miles and Huberman, The data analysis, based on Miles and Hubermen, consists of three steps: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The findings show that both the teaching staff and the administrative staff fulfill nearly all the required components. This study suggests that either the teaching staff or administrative staff should increase their qualification to postgraduate degrees. All teachers should possess an educator certificate by attending teacher professional training.Keywords: Administrative Staff, Discrepancy, Evaluation, Teaching Staf
Profesionalisme Guru Sekolah Dasar
Tuntutan profesionalisme guru adalah salah satu agenda terpenting dalam Sistem Pendidikan Nasional kita. Berdasarkan modus peraturan pemerintah tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan, memaksa setiap pihak yang terlibat dalam sistem pendidikan untuk mempercepat peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan pendidikan tujuan dilakukan melalui mempersiapkan dan meningkatkan keterampilan guru profesional dan juga dengan mengelola unsur pendukung pendidikan. Dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru Sekolah Dasar, yang Departemen Pendidikan telah melakukan ini dengan mempersiapkan kompetensi guru Sekolah Dasar berdasarkan sebagai pedoman. Hal ini juga digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kompetensi guru memiliki. Morever dapat digunakan sebagai pedoman dan peningkatan profesionalisme guru. TINJAUAN URF TERHADAP TRADISI SUNA RO NDOSO (KHITAN) DI KECAMATAN LAMBU KABUPATEN BIMA NTB
Lambu District, Bima Regency has a unique tradition where this tradition is carried out at the circumcision ceremony. The suna ro ndoso tradition is a very important tradition carried out by boys aged 6-12 years, while for girls aged 2-4 years. Where this tradition is carried out as a complement to Islam and as a distinction between Muslims and non-Muslims. This research aims to describe, understand and analyze 'Urf's review of the suna ro ndoso tradition at circumcision ceremonies in Lambu District, Bima Regency, NTB. The research method used to obtain data in this research is a case study using interview and literature study techniques. From this research, it is known that the people in Lambu District consider the suna ro ndoso tradition to be a very important tradition and considered sacred. However, from this tradition there is an interesting phenomenon, namely the inclusion of soji ro sangga (sajen) in its implementation with the aim of avoiding all harm.
