    Transforming Education in Indonesia: The Impact and Challenges of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum

    The "Merdeka Belajar" initiative, introduced by Indonesia's Ministry of Education, represents a significant shift towards a student-centred learning approach. This manuscript aims to analyse the development, implementation, and outcomes of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. The objectives are to evaluate the curriculum's impact on fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among students and to identify the challenges faced during its implementation. The methodology involves a comprehensive literature review and content analysis, drawing on existing research and policy documents to provide a detailed overview of the curriculum's principles and pedagogical foundations. The results indicate that the Merdeka Belajar curriculum has positively influenced students' engagement and learning outcomes by promoting autonomy and integrating 21st-century skills. However, significant challenges persist, including logistical issues, teacher preparedness, and digital resource disparities. The findings suggest that while the curriculum has made strides in transforming Indonesian education, further efforts are needed to address these challenges. Recommendations include enhancing teacher training programs, improving infrastructure to support digital learning, and fostering greater collaboration between educational stakeholders. By addressing these areas, the Merdeka Belajar curriculum can more effectively achieve its goal of preparing students for the demands of the modern world

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berorientasi pendidikan karakter dengan setting model discovery learning yang berkualitas valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang dgunakan adalah penelitian desain. Dalam penelitian ini dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran berupa Buku Siswa dan Buku Petunjuk Guru. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Siswa SMP N 11 Denpasar.  Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran tersebut mengikuti prosedur pengembangan Plomp yang meliputi fase preliminary, fase prototipe, dan fase assesment. Data validitas perangkat pembelajaran didasarkan pada pendapat pakar menggunakan lembar validasi perangkat pembelajaran. Data kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran didasarkan pada data keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran, angket respons siswa dan angket respons guru. Data efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran dikumpulkan menggunakan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika.Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa buku siswa dan buku petunjuk guru yang dikembangkan memperoleh kategori valid. Hasil observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, repons siswa dan respons guru menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dikategorikan praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tes perangkat pembelajaran termasuk dalam kriteria efektif.

    Human resources are a valuable investment for an organization. So the need for training in an effort to increase knowledge and behavior in order to create professional health workers. The Regional Management of the Indonesian Midwives Association has held a Maternal Neonatal Emergency Awareness Training (KKMN). The need for a post-training evaluation to determine the success of the training carried out. The targets of this evaluation are midwives participating in the 2022 KKMN Training. The data collection technique is secondary data from the results of KKMN training evaluations and interview and observation data on individual alumni, colleagues and agency leaders. This evaluation was analyzed quantitatively by transforming into Kirkpatrick's model and describing the studies at each level. The results are that at level I the reaction of alumni participating in KKMN training with high motivation is 80%, level II learning as a form of independent learning effort for training participants is 80%, for level III the behavior of training alumni has behavior that impacts colleagues and the work performance of the puskesmas is 95%, the results of level IV alumni results have a performance that contributes to real performance at the institution by 95%. This also simultaneously provides an overview of the implementation of the KKMN curriculum which is analyzed for its effectiveness by looking at aspects of the program structure which are quite good and can be carried out according to training standards. the notes obtained are contained in modules that need to be made specifically, material that needs to be updated following the latest policies and analysis of pre- and post-test questions in order to better evaluate participant outcomes. The results of this evaluation can also be studied further as best practice as the involvement of professional organizations in efforts to strengthen sustainable education and training so that all health workers can improve their competence in serving the community in various setting

    PENGEMBANGAN MODUL AJAR KURIKULUM MERDEKA BERBASIS PROJECT BASED LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOLABORASI SISWA SMP KELAS VII

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar kurikulum merdeka berbasis project based learning pada kelas VII jenjang SMP. Model pengembangan yang digunakan ialah ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data non tes, yang terdiri dari pemberian angket validitas, angket kepraktisan, dan angket kemampuan kolaborasi. Data yang telah diperoleh dari angket validitas, selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis instrumen LORI (Learning Object Review Instrument), sedangkan data yang diperoleh dari angket kepraktisan dianalisis menggunakan analisis instrumen UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire), dan data dari hasil angket kemampuan kolaborasi dianalisis berdasarkan skala likert. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas, modul ini dinyatakan valid secara isi dengan persentase skor 76% dan 89% atau baik sedangkan secara tampilan mendapatkan persentase skor 90% dan 97% atau sangat baik. Setelah melalui uji validitas, modul ini melalui uji kepraktisan yang menggunakan UEQ sebagai pengujiannya. Hasil uji kepraktisan ini membuahkan kategori baik pada aspek daya tarik, kejelasan, efisiensi, stimulasi dan dan kategori sangat baik pada aspek ketepatan. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan ini dapat dinyatakan praktis. Tahap pengujian yang terakhir ialah uji efektivitas yang mana modul ajar diujicobakan kepada satu kelas yakni kelas VII E di SMP Negeri 3 Singaraja. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba tersebut, dari 34 orang peserta didik diperoleh sebanyak 11 orang yang tidak memenuhi kriteria sedang dan 23 orang lainnya memenuhi kriteria sedang.     Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan konsep Tri Hita Karana untuk membangun harmoni melalui pendidikan karakter. Hubungan harmonis antara manusia dan manusia sudah tidak ada lagi seperti dulu. Konsep Tri Hita Karana dalam agama Hindu mengajarkan bahwa hubungan kerjasama harus diciptakan agar ada kebahagiaan di dunia ini. Keharmonisan ini dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi kehidupan manusia dan lingkungannya, serta keberlangsungan kehidupan manusia dan lingkungannya menjadi lebih baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui penelitian pustaka menggunakan sumber data dari beberapa jurnal dan buku. Berdasarkan kajian pustaka yang dikumpulkan dapat dideskripsikan secara kualitatif gambaran tentang ajaran Tri Hita Karana yang dapat dijadikan landasan dalam membangun harmoni melalui pendidikan karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa arah pembangunan pendidikan Indonesia telah sesuai dengan fungsi dan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Salah satu prioritas pembangunan adalah pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter fokus pada pembentukan generasi Indonesia yang berakhlak mulia dan berilmu, bersumber pada agama, Pancasila, budaya, dan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Generasi berkarakter diharapkan mampu mencapai keselamatan dan kebahagiaan hidup tertinggi yakni di dunia dan di akhirat. Tujuan tersebut selaras dengan konsep harmoni dalam ajaran Tri Hita Karana. Tri Hita Karana mengajarkan untuk menjaga keseimbangan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan (Parhyangan), manusia dengan sesama (Pawongan), dan manusia dengan alam (Palemahan). Proses belajar dan interaksi sosial yang terjadi dalam membangun karakter melibatkan ketiga konsep yang ada dalam ajaran Tri Hita Karana. This research also compares the concept of an independent curriculum and other schools of educational philosophy, such as perennialist, essentialist, and progressivist, to describe their unique characteristics. This research uses a literature study. The data collected in this research came from books, research journals, news, and online articles. The data collection technique used in this research is documentation, and the data analysis technique used is content analysis. This research shows that the Merdeka Curriculum, the influence of schools of educational philosophy, such as progressivism, perennialism, essentialism, constructivism, and the philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara, have an essential role. The integration of academic philosophy and the philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara into the Independent Curriculum creates a holistic whole.     21st-century skills are one of the skills that students must master. Curriculum 2013 which trains and develops 21st-century skills can be implemented by applying STEM in science learning. The method of this study is to analyze journal articles obtained through online journals. This study analyzed 20 journals published from 2016 to 2022 and calculated the effect size which included 16 national journals and 4 international journals. The results of the data analysis show that at the elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels, the impact of STEM on science learning at all levels of education is relatively high.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dan tanggapan siswa melalui penerapan model treffinger berbantuan masalah open-ended. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-7 SMPN 2 Singaraja sebanyak 32 siswa pada semester ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Berdasarkan analisis data, secara klasikal menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan ditiap siklus secara berturut-turut, yaitu 46,88%, 68,75%, 87,5% dengan rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah dari siklus ke siklus secara berturut-turut, yaitu 74,69, 77,60, 82,08.
