THE ESSENTIAL OF LEADERSHIP (Book Review)

Sebuah perusahaan yang tidak memiliki seorang pemimpin hanya punya sedikit kans untuk selamat. Kepemimpinan suatu konsep relasi (relational concept). Kepemimpinan hanya ada dalam relasi dengan orang-orang lain, katakanlah, para pengikut. Jika tidak ada pengikut, maka tidak ada pemimpin. Berhasilnya sebuah perusahaan salah satunya ditentukan oleh sumber daya yang ada dalam organisasi, dan faktor kepemimpinan.Pengaruh pemimpin sangat menentukan pekerjaan bawahan. Pengaruh kepemimpinan ini bisa dilihat dari sikap bawahan terhadap pekerjaannya. Kepemimpinan yang efektif harus dapat memberikan pengarahan terhadap usaha bawahan dalam mencapai tujuan organisasi. Oleh karena itu kepemimpinan sangat diperlukan jika organisasi ingin sukses.

PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN DESA PRIMA MELATI SARI SUMBERSARI, MOYUDAN, SLEMAN DALAM PRODUKSI DAN OLAHAN SINGKONG

The PbM program is implemented in Prima Village (Women Indonesia Maju Mandiri) Melati Sari located in Blendung village, Sumbersari, Moyudan, Sleman, Yogyakarta, which develops women's economic empowerment in the Sumbersari area. Women are believed to have an important role in family resilience. The partner's problem is that some have yards planted with cassava, but the cassava yields are in the form of small tubers. Small tubers are sold at low prices, processed cassava products which have been sold in the form of soft, boiled cassava, fried cassava and the marketing is still local. The purpose of this PbM Program is to improve the welfare of the community through empowering women in increasing productivity and cassava cultivation techniques, cassava processed foods and online marketing. PbM's specific target is to reduce the poverty level of a region through increasing women's economic productivity in an integrated and synergized manner through the improvement and innovation of processed food products. The methods implemented are interviews, training, practice and mentoring. Activities include training and making demonstration plots for organic cassava cultivation. training on innovation of cassava processed products, training on attractive and hygienic packaging design for processed cassava products, and online marketing. Procurement of materials and tools, namely planting media, cassava cuttings, and organic fertilizer. The results of community service activities are increasing women's empowerment in cultivating and innovating processed cassava, increasing community welfare, high selling prices of processed cassava, and wider marketing. The outputs of this PbM program are book copyrights, articles in mass media, articles in journals/proceedings and posters

Karakteristik Inovasi, Pengetahuan, Komunikasi Pemasaran, Persepsi Risiko Dan Stockout Dalam Keputusan Penundaan Adopsi Inovasi

Inovasi merupakan sebuah ide dan praktek, atau obyek yang dipersepsikan sebagai sesuatu yang baru oleh seorang individu atau unit adopsi yang lain. Penundaan terjadi ketika seorang individu memutuskan untuk menunda adopsi inovasi. Seorang postponer masuk ke dalam golongan non-adopter. Individu ini ada dalam kondisi aktif, menunggu waktu yang dianggapnya tepat untuk mengadopsi inovasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji sebuah model yang menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penundaan suatu produk inovatif yaitu LPG pada masyarakat miskin target konversi energi. Metode yang digunakan menggunakan pendekatan deduktif karena memfokuskan pada pengembangan hipotesis yang didasarkan pada suatu teori. Penelitian ini menggunakan survei karena memperhatikan sejumlah faktor yang menjelaskan keberadaan fenomena yang diteliti Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui observasi langsung, wawancara personal secara mendalam dan pengisian kuesioner. Alat analisis data menggunakan structural equation modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model penundaan adopsi dapat diterima. WORD OF MOUTH SEBAGAI KONSEKUENSI KEPUASAN PELANGGAN

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of price and service quality on customer satisfaction to increase words of mouth. Data were collected by distributes questionnaires to 110 patient of Bhayangkara Polda DIY Hospital. Then, data was analyzed using structural equation modeling. The result showed that service quality, price and image have positive effect on patient satisfaction and patient satisfaction has a positive effect on words of mouth. Adopsi Aplikasi Berbasis Android

This study aims to analyze the relative advantages, ease and visibility of the adoption of Android-based applications. The sample of this research is consumers who have used Android-based applications with a total of 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that the relative advantage, ease and visibility of the adoption of Android-based applications. Shows a high average answer. So it can be concluded that the relative advantages, ease and visibility of the adoption of Android-based applications can be used for further research related to the adoption of Android-based applications

Antecedents and consequences of employee engagement in the SMEs of crafts

The research aims to analyze the mediating role of employee engagement between job satisfaction and reward as the antecedents, the connection between employee engagement and Leader-Member Exchange, and commitment as the consequences. Meanwhile, this primary study's purpose is to determine whether (and how) employee engagement and antecedents influence Leader-Member Exchange and Organizational Commitment. The population of wooden batik craft centers in Bantul regency is 57 centers and in Gunung Kidul regency is 20 centers. A census did sampling with 292 crafters consisting of 148 crafters in Bantul regency and 144 crafters in Gunung Kidul regency. The data collection technique used in this research was to use a questionnaire. This research uses the AMOS Structural Equation Modelling technique. The results confirm that job satisfaction, reward, employee engagement, Leader-Member Exchange, and Commitment are interrelated. Job satisfaction and reward had a positive relationship with employee engagement. Furthermore, employee engagement mediated the connection between Leader-Member Exchange and Commitment, and Leader-Member Exchange had a positive relationship with commitmen

Peran Mediasi Kepercayaan Pada Pengaruh Kualitas Website Dan E-Wom Terhadap Minat Beli Ulang Di Tokopedia Oleh Konsumen Online Generasi Milenial Di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta

This study aims to analyze the mediating role of trust on the influence of website quality and E-WOM on the repurchase intention at Tokopedia by online consumers of millennial generation in D.I. Yogyakarta. This type of research is quantitative research. The sample in this study is part of the online consumers of millennial generation in D.I. Yogyakarta who have made a purchase at Tokopedia in the last 6 months with a minimum of twice purchases on Tokopedia. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, the data collection method in this study used a questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed online using google form to 100 respondents. The data analysis technique in this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) with the SmartPLS 3.3.3 software application. The results show that 1) website quality has a direct effect on repurchase intention, 2) E-WOM has a direct effect on repurchase intention, 3) website quality affects repurchase interest with trust as a mediating variable and 4) E-WOM has an effect on repurchase interest with trust as a mediating variable
