Bakalářská práce se také zaměřuje na místa a dobu, kdy a kde se zlato těžilo v České republice a také kde se v budoucnu může těžit. Práce také zmiňuje dopady těžby zlata na životní prostředí a jeho ekonomickou úlohu.This bachelor thesis is dealing especially with the issue of gold mining in the Jesenicky region. The work is aimed not only at the issue of gold mining, but it also includes basic information about gold and its usage. This bachelor work is also aimed at the places and time when and where the gold has been mined within the Czech Republic and also where it can be mined in the future. Také se snaží ukázat pravděpodobné trendy v komunikacích.This work focuses on entropy measurement in Internet protocols. It explains a way of measuring entropy and its application on protocols and their fields. Results are listed and discussed. Also an effort is made to try and identify current trends in communication.

System of On-/Offline temperature measurement based on Lab View

Cílem této práce bylo vytvořit program na bázi LabVIEW pro měření teploty pomocí osobního počítače. Program umožňuje čtení a úpravu digitálního signálu z měřicího řetězce, který je tvořen senzorem typu PT100, měřicím zesilovačem a analogově digitálním převodníkem s USB výstupem. Teoretická část práce se věnuje především odporovým snímačům teploty, signálové analýze a zmiňuje metody pro zpracování signálu. Praktická část je pojata jako příručka k vytvořenému programu. Tato část představuje dílčí prvky programu a popisuje jejich princip, praktické využití a v neposlední řadě i návod k obsluze. Dle zadání byl vypracován také protokol o ověření měřicího zařízení, které proběhlo v laboratoři Českého metrologického institutu v Brně.The objective of this thesis was to create a LabVIEW-based program for temperature measurement using a personal computer. The program allows reading and post processing of digital signal from a measuring device. This device consists of a sensor type PT100, a measuring transducer and an analog-to-digital converter with USB output. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with resistance temperature sensors, signal analysis and methods for signal processing. The practical part is conceived as a guide to the created program. This part introduces vital sub-elements of the program and describes their principle, practical use and also the operating instructions. As required by thesis assignment, practical part includes verification of the measuring device, which was performed in laboratory of Czech Metrology Institute in Brno.

Estimation of Gold Price Development on the World Market

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou vývoje ceny zlata na světovém trhu. Úvod práce je zaměřen zejména na historický a ekonomický význam tohoto cenného kovu. Hlavním smyslem této práce je odhad reálné ceny zlata na světovém trhu za rok 2024 a 2025. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou vývoje ceny zlata na světovém trhu a pokouší se odhadnout jeho budoucí hodnotu. Zlato je tradičním investičním aktivem s dlouhou historií využívání jako uchovávaná hodnota a ochrana proti inflaci. V posledních letech se však jeho cena stala více volatilní a ovlivněna různými faktory, jako jsou ekonomické události, měnová politika, geopolitické napětí a investiční poptávka. Tato práce se zaměřuje na analýzu těchto faktorů a jejich vliv na vývoj ceny zlata.The thesis deals with the analysis of the price of gold on the world market. The introduction of the thesis focuses mainly on the historical and economic significance of this precious metal. The main purpose of this thesis is to estimate the real price of gold on the world market for 2024 and 2025. This thesis analyzes the development of gold price in the world market and tries to estimate its future value. Gold is a traditional investment asset with a long history of use as a store of value and a hedge against inflation. In recent years, however, its price has become more volatile and affected by various factors such as economic events, monetary policy, geopolitical tensions and investment demand. Breathing simulator

Cílem této práce bylo vytvořit realistické dechové cykly pro simulátor dýchání a následně funkčnost simulátoru ověřit. První část práce byla pojata jako obecný úvod do problematiky dýchání. Tato část popisuje stavbu plic, mechaniku dýchání a zabývá se plicními objemy. Předmětem studie byly také významné faktory, které ovlivňují dýchání člověka. Zpracování získaných dat a vytvoření dechových cyklů pro simulátor dýchání je popsáno v druhé části této práce. Vytvořeno bylo celkem 5 specifických dechových průběhů. Součástí druhé části práce je také experimentální ověření funkčnosti simulátoru dýchání.The purpose of this thesis was to create realistic breathing cycles for breathing simulator and than to verify the functionality of the simulator. The first section of this thesis was conceived as an general introduction to problematics of breathing. This section describes the construction of the lungs, the breathing mechanism and lung volumes. The subject of this study were also important factors that affect human respiration. Processing of acquired data and creation of breathing cycles for breathing simulator is described in the second section of this thesis. Five specific breathing patterns were created. The experimental verification of the breathing simulator functionality is part of the second section.

Forefoot Strike, Rear Foot Strike Or Running Shoes. Does It Matter?

The main aim of this article is to provide some insight into evidence-based data in running. The prevalence of a rearfoot strike (RFS) pattern is much more usual than a forefoot strike (FFS) even among elite distance runners. There has been significant pressure on runners to change their running style from RFS to FFS in recent times. Usually, this has been justified by the statement that FFS relates to a lower injury rate. Recent studies have shown however, that this statement is probably false. Different types of strike pattern have an influence on loading different structures of the lower limbs, but the total incidence of running related injuries is the same regardless of the type of foot strike pattern. We want to provide not only an objective view on running technique but also an evidence-based view on the choice of running shoes. There are many recommendations to consider when choosing running shoes, especially in running stores, but only a few of them are supported by research. This article is not a meta-analysis but it provides some evidence-based information about running styles and running shoes
