Disseny d’un sistema de regulació de cabal de coure líquid per un tren de colada continua

El present projecte consisteix en l’automatització d’un lloc de feina en la indústria metal·lúrgica mitjançant el desenvolupament d’una màquina. Es va realitzar per a l’empresa ”La Farga Lacambra” entre el Juny 2002 i Desembre 2002. Aquesta màquina s’ha de situar entre un forn per fondre xatarra de coure i el sistema mecànic “Continous Properzi®” per fabricar alambró de coure partint de colada. La màquina capta la informació del nivell del coure mitjançant un sistema de visió per computador, realitza tot un procés d’aquestes dades i respon corregint el nivell del coure mitjançant un actuador mecànic. Te tot un sistema de seguretat implementat en diferents nivells (dos nivells de hardware i un de software), que assegura el procés de fabricació i porta la màquina a posició segura (manual) donant avisos, davant de qualsevol problema. El projecte consisteix en el plantejament, desenvolupament i implantació d’aquesta màquina (excepte sistema de visió i actuador mecànic), així com les justificacions teòriques pertinents. El projecte inclou: • Desenvolupament i estudi teòric de l’algoritme de control . • Modelitzacions i simulacions mitjançant eines matemàtiques. • Estudi i desenvolupament sistemes seguretat. • Desenvolupament dels interfícies de la màquina (pupitres comandament, SCADA, polsadors emergència…) • Organització del treball dels diferents equips (elèctric, de visió i mecànic). • Selecció i configuració de materials (servo, relés temporitzats, encoders…). • Dissenys elèctrics. • Manuals de la màquina (operatiu i tècnic). • Posta en marxa de la màquina. • Avaluació del funcionament de la màquina. • Estudis viabilitat econòmica. • Annexos per consulta de noms tècnics i de càlculs. Per facilitar la lectura del projecte s’ha dividit en cinc llibres (Memòria, Manual de funcionament, Manual tècnic, Annex Càlculs i Justificacions i Annex Vocables tècnics). Els manuals tècnics i de funcionament son els que es van entregar a l’empresa “La Farga Lacambra”

Supporting End-User Development through a New Composition Model: An Empirical Study

End-user development (EUD) is much hyped, and its impact has outstripped even the most optimistic forecasts. Even so, the vision of end users programming their own solutions has not yet materialized. This will continue to be so unless we in both industry and the research community set ourselves the ambitious challenge of devising end to end an end-user application development model for developing a new age of EUD tools. We have embarked on this venture, and this paper presents the main insights and outcomes of our research and development efforts as part of a number of successful EU research projects. Our proposal not only aims to reshape software engineering to meet the needs of EUD but also to refashion its components as solution building blocks instead of programs and software developments. This way, end users will really be empowered to build solutions based on artefacts akin to their expertise and understanding of ideal solution
