Quality of life and clinical features of chronic exertion headache in men and women

The research goal was to study quality of life and clinical features of chronic headache in men and women. Materials and Methods. The comprehensive survey was conducted. 162 people (75 men and 87 women aged 35-54 years, average age 45,6±2,6 years) with tension headache (TH), corresponding to the criteria of tension-type headache under international classification of headaches (2003) were examined. The results of studies of quality of life among the patients with chronic tension headache allowed to estimate the impact of disease on various components of QOL in men and women. Conclusions. Monitoring of physical, psychological and social functioning of patients to obtain differential and integral quantitative indicators enabled a doctor to correct treatment at various stages and to develop a set of practical recommendations for treatment of patients with poor quality of life

FRAMEWORK FOR AD HOC NETWORK COMMUNICATION IN MULTI-ROBOT SYSTEMS

Assume a team of mobile robots operating in environments where no communication infrastructure like routers or access points is available. The robots have to create a mobile ad hoc network, in that case, it provides communication on peer-to-peer basis. The paper gives an overview of existing solutions how to route messages in such ad hoc networks between robots that are not directly connected and introduces a design of a software framework for realization of such communication. Feasibility of the proposed framework is shown on the example of distributed multi-robot exploration of an a priori unknown environment. Testing of developed functionality in an exploration scenario is based on results of several experiments with various input conditions of the exploration process and various sizes of a team and is described herein

«Божественное» насилие как составляющая социального насилия

У статті досліджується одна з форм насилля, домінантна на певному етапі соціальних трансформацій, – «божественне» насилля, яке ґрунтується на вірі та реалізується шляхом сакралізації насильницьких дій. Зазначається, що реалізація «божественного» насилля відбувається через віру в харизматичного лідера, віру у незмінність світу, віру у чудесний світ. Особлива увага присвячена складовим «божественного» насилля: магічному та ритуальному (або ритуально-символічному) мисленню. Роль магічного мислення у «божественному» насиллі – підбір правильної інтерпретації необхідності його здійснення, сакралізація жертв насилля через пояснення їх загибелі дією закону вищого замислу та випробовуванням вищих сил. Утвердження «божественного» насилля позначається появою і включенням до культури певних символів, проведенням нових соціальних ритуалів, які у подальшому стають складовими і «раціонального» насилля. Задача соціального ритуалу – здійснити колективний акт непрямого насилля. Проведення соціальних ритуалів як складових соціальних трансформацій відбувається у момент, коли насилля проходить стадію пароксизму і утверджується у масовій свідомості ідея необхідності миру, порядку, злагоди. Визначено, що інструментом «божественного» насилля є встановлення нового відліку історичного часу.«Divineviolence is a form of social violence, aimed at the integration of newly installed rules and regulations, implementation to the society on the basis of the categorical perception, which is based on faith and is carried out by the sacralization of violence. Faith allows designing the perfect future for each individual, creating on the one hand, the illusion of the simplicity, and on the other - the illusion of omnipotence. This forms in the mass consciousness the idea that every problem can be solved by conditions of «correctorders’ issue.The main types of faith as the basis of the «divineviolence are: faith in the immutability of the world, and the belief in fair world. Magical and ritual (or ritually symbolic) thinking is a part of «divineviolence. Magical thinking, being a part of «divineviolence in the process of social transformations, actualizes the faith in the possibility and the effectiveness of the changes happening.«Divineviolence is implemented through the magical thinking by choosing convincing interpretation of its necessity. Also it is implemented through the ritual one in the historic moment, when violence goes through the stage of paroxysm (increase of it power to the highest level, which is reflected in total discord, levelling and destruction), due to this the idea of the necessity of peace, order, harmony is being proven to the mass consciousness. «Divineviolence is implemented on the basis of leaderism, when the leader (chief) comes not only as the Fuhrer in its negative connotations as a tyrant, but as a leader of a nation, a prominent military commander, who has supernatural characteristics. Such characteristics are expressed as a strong belief in this by public consciousness. The principles of the implementation of the «divineviolence have a number of common principles with religious cults’ activity organization.The basic principle is the association against the enemy. This principle is implemented through the creation and production of an image of a common enemy - Satan, government, «enlightenedpeople of other faiths, and so on. This principle is social in its nature and is based on the desire of individuals to protect their own sense of identity through the division of everyone either to the allies or enemies. One of the tools of the «divineviolence is the setting of a new historical time reference. It is carried out either by the setting of a new chronology or the determination of the sacral event. Its date becomes the conditional starting point of a new stage of development of society.В статье исследуется одна из форм насилия, доминантная на определенном этапе социальных трансформаций – «божественное» насилие, основанное на вере и реализовывается путем сакрализации насильственных действий. Отмечается, что реализация «божественного» насилия происходит на основании веры в харизматичного лидера, веры в неизменность мира, веры в чудесный мир. Особое внимание уделено составляющим «божественного» насилия: магическому и ритуальному (или ритуально-символическому) мышлению. Роль магического мышления в «божественном» насилии – подбор правильной интерпретации необходимости его осуществления, сакрализация жертв насилия через объяснение их гибели действием закона высшего замысла и испытанием высших сил. Утверждение «божественного» насилия сказывается появлением и включением в культуру определенных символов, проведением новых социальных ритуалов, которые в дальнейшем становятся составляющими и «рационального» насилия. Задача социального ритуала – осуществить коллективный акт непрямого насилия. Проведение социальных ритуалов как составляющих социальных трансформаций происходит в момент, когда насилие проходит стадию пароксизма и утверждается в массовом сознании идея необходимости мира и порядка. Определено, что инструментом «божественного» насилия является установление нового отсчета исторического времени

ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ПОКРАЩЕННЯ ВИКЛАДАННЯ «ФІЗІОЛОГІЇ ТВАРИН» СТУДЕНТАМ, МАЙБУТНІМ ЛІКАРЯМ ВЕТЕРИНАРНОЇ МЕДИЦИНИ

The article is about main approaches of improvement of conducting classes on «Phisiology of Animals». The teaching process of this educational component has many features, that is why scientific and pedagogical workers constantly looking for the most effective and necessary methods of giving lessons on it to students of higher education. The science of physiology occupies a prominent place in the training of a doctor of veterinary medicine. Under such circumstances, the students' study of the vital activity of the animal organism and their acquisition of integral and general biological knowledge in the process of studying the educational discipline " Physiology of Animals " is quite important and useful for learning other disciplines. The subject of studying "Physiology of Animals" is the basic regularities of the emergence, formation and regulation of the processes of interaction of a whole organism with the environment, its behavior in different conditions of existence at different stages of growth and development, taking into account the peculiarities and evolution.Studying the fundamental patterns of biological development through the nature of physiological processes provides a foundational basis for the efficient acquisition of specialized technological disciplines and future practical activities related to the organization, breeding, and responsible use of animals in accordance with their physiological needs, as stipulated by the Law of Ukraine 'On the Protection of Animals from Cruelty.' Thus, in the modern stage of higher education development, the presence of diverse educational programs and services allows for obtaining a comprehensive education in veterinary medicine through new approaches to organizing the educational process and subsequently integrating student youth into European educational structures. Under such conditions, higher education in the world tends to constantly improve. This is what prompts certain reforms in veterinary education. At the same time, bringing something new and progressive to the teaching of disciplines that are already taught, in particular to physiology, is an imperative requirement of the time. In view of the above, the teaching of the educational discipline " Physiology of Animals " with the use of the latest technologies is aimed at the ultimate goal - high-quality training of highly qualified specialists.У статті розглянуті основні підходи до удосконалення викладання навчальної дисципліни «Фізіологія тварин». Викладання цієї освітньої компоненти має чимало особливостей, саме тому, науково-педагогічні працівники здійснюють постійний пошук найбільш ефективних і необхідних методів її викладання здобувачам вищої освіти. Наука фізіологія займає чільне місце у підготовці лікаря ветеринарної медицини. За таких обставин, вивчення студентами життєдіяльності тваринного організму та отримання ними інтегральних та загальнобіологічних знань, у процесі вивчення навчальної дисципліни «Фізіологія тварин» є досить важливим та корисним для засвоєння інших дисциплін. Предметом вивчення «Фізіології тварин», є основні закономірності виникнення, становлення і регуляції процесів взаємодії цілісного організму із довкіллям, його поведінки в різних умовах існування на різних стадіях росту й розвитку з урахуванням особливостей і еволюції. Вивчення основних закономірностей біологічного розвитку через характер перебігу фізіологічних процесів, створює фундаментальну базу для ефективного засвоєння спеціальних технологічних дисциплін і майбутньої практичної діяльності з організації утримання, розведення і використання тварин у відповідності до їх фізіологічних потреб згідно із Законом України «Про захист тварин від жорстокого поводження». Таким чином, на сучасному етапі розвитку вищої освіти, наявність різноманітних освітніх програм і послуг дозволяє отримувати повну освіту лікаря ветеринарної медицини через нові підходи в організації освітнього процесу із наступною інтеграцією студентської молоді до Європейських освітянських структур. За таких умов, вища школа у світі має тенденцію до постійного удосконалення. Саме це спонукає до певних реформувань ветеринарної освіти. Разом із цим, привнесення до викладання дисциплін, що уже читаються, зокрема до фізіології, нового і прогресивного є обов’зковою вимогою часу. З огляду на зазначене, викладання навчальної дисципліни «Фізіологія тварин» із застосуванням новітніх технологій направлене на кінцеву мету – якісну підготовку висококваліфікованих фахівців
