Forecasting wind speed data by using a combination of ARIMA model with single exponential smoothing
Wind serves as natural resources as the solution to minimize global warming and has been commonly used to produce electricity. Because of their uncontrollable wind characteristics, wind speed forecasting is considered one of the best challenges in developing power generation. The Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), Simple Exponential Smoothing (SES) and a hybrid model combination of ARIMA and SES will be used in this study to predict the wind speed. The mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and the root mean square error (RMSE) are used as measurement of efficiency. The hybrid model provides a positive outcome for predicting wind speed compare to the single model of ARIMA and SES
Analisis Kinerja Pembiayaan Take Over pada Btn Syariah di Tahun 2014- 2015
Since 2014, the growth of financing is slowed. This prompted the government to revise the policy Financing To Value and down payment financing of the property. Financing Take Over is one of the financing relating to the property. Therefore this study wanted to see is there any influence of this policy revision with the performance of the financing Take Over. The research methodology used is qualitative method with descriptive data analysis. This study analyzes the achievements that have been obtained on the financing of the take Over the BTN Syariah in 2014 until 2015. The results of the study found that the design contract used BTN Syariah is using Hiwalah and Murabahah contract, it is different from MUI No. 31 / DSN-MUI / VI / 2002, PBI Application no17 / 10 / PBI / 2015. The financing of Take Over had a significant impact both in quality and quantity of financing
Sequestering atmospheric CO2 inorganically:a solution for Malaysia's CO2 emission
Malaysia is anticipating an increase of 68.86% in CO2 emission in 2020, compared with the 2000 baseline, reaching 285.73 million tonnes. A major contributor to Malaysia's CO2 emissions is coal-fired electricity power plants, responsible for 43.4% of the overall emissions. Malaysia's forest soil offers organic sequestration of 15 tonnes of CO2 ha(-1) year(-1). Unlike organic CO2 sequestration in soil, inorganic sequestration of CO2 through mineral carbonation, once formed, is considered as a permanent sink. Inorganic CO2 sequestration in Malaysia has not been extensively studied, and the country's potential for using the technique for atmospheric CO2 removal is undefined. In addition, Malaysia produces a significant amount of solid waste annually and, of that, demolition concrete waste, basalt quarry fine, and fly and bottom ashes are calcium-rich materials suitable for inorganic CO2 sequestration. This project introduces a potential solution for sequestering atmospheric CO2 inorganically for Malaysia. If lands associated to future developments in Malaysia are designed for inorganic CO2 sequestration using demolition concrete waste, basalt quarry fine, and fly and bottom ashes, 597,465 tonnes of CO2 can be captured annually adding a potential annual economic benefit of (sic)4,700,000.</p
Threshold Verification Technique for Network Intrusion Detection System
Internet has played a vital role in this modern world, the possibilities and
opportunities offered are limitless. Despite all the hype, Internet services
are liable to intrusion attack that could tamper the confidentiality and
integrity of important information. An attack started with gathering the
information of the attack target, this gathering of information activity can be
done as either fast or slow attack. The defensive measure network administrator
can take to overcome this liability is by introducing Intrusion Detection
Systems (IDSs) in their network. IDS have the capabilities to analyze the
network traffic and recognize incoming and on-going intrusion. Unfortunately
the combination of both modules in real time network traffic slowed down the
detection process. In real time network, early detection of fast attack can
prevent any further attack and reduce the unauthorized access on the targeted
machine. The suitable set of feature selection and the correct threshold value,
add an extra advantage for IDS to detect anomalies in the network. Therefore
this paper discusses a new technique for selecting static threshold value from
a minimum standard features in detecting fast attack from the victim
perspective. In order to increase the confidence of the threshold value the
result is verified using Statistical Process Control (SPC). The implementation
of this approach shows that the threshold selected is suitable for identifying
the fast attack in real time.Comment: 8 Pages, International Journal of Computer Science and Information

Swarm Robots Control System Based Fuzzy-PSO
In this paper describes swarm robots control design using combination Fuzzy logic and Particle swarm optimization algorithm. They can communicate with each other to achieve the target. Fuzzy Logic technique is used for navigating swarm robots in unknown environment and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is used for searching and finding the best position of target. In this experiment utilize three identical robots with different color. Every robot has three infrared sensors, two gas sensors, 1 compass sensor and one X-Bee. A camera in the roof of robot arena is utilized to determine the position of each robot with color detection methods. Swarm robots and camera are connected to a computer which serves as an information center. From the experimental results the Fuzzy-PSO algorithm is able to control swarm robots, achieves the best target position in short time and produce smooth trajector
Flashcard for Enriching and Developing the Child Vocabulary with Speech Delay to Improve Lingual Skill
This study aims to enrich and developing vocabulary the child with speech delay by using flashcard. The subject of the research is the child who was late in speaking due to sensory disorders, Kindergarten 1, the age of 4 years old. The research method was single subject research quantitative research (single subject research). Techniques of analysis the data collection through observation of baseline A and B, also documentation. The Results showed that baseline phase (A) phase to the intervention (B) are increasing, which means that the condition has increased after the intervention. Where in the baseline-2 (A2) phase to intervention (B) it is increased which means that the intervention can significantly improve the ability of the subject
Analysis of Tumpang Sari Horticulture Farming in Pattappang Village, Gowa Regency
This research was prepared aiming to determine the amount of cost, income, and efficiency of vegetable farming in the Buluballea Environment, Pattappang Village, Tinggimoncong District, Gowa Regency. Besides this research is also to determine the effect of factors such as land area, labor, manure, urea fertilizer, KCl fertilizer, ZA fertilizer, and cropping patterns on costs and income. Tumpangsari Farming is planting in almost the same time for the same two types of crops. The basic method used in this research is descriptive study and is done by interview technique. The selection of sample farmers uses a stratified random sampling method with a total of 5 (five) people. The type of data used in the study is primary data and secondary data collected by interview, note-taking, and observation technique
