Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share Terhadap Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Pada Siswa SMPN 2 Kota Jambi Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014

The background of this research by the ability of students' mathematical concepts. This is due to the teachers who are more active in the learning process, whereas students only receive the material and noted that learning math is very boring for students. The population in this study were all students of class VIII except VIII class F SMPN 2 Jambi. Sampling using random sampling so that the sample drawn is VIII A and VIII B with different treatment. The results showed that the average ability students' understanding of mathematical concepts experimental class was 72.33 with a standard deviation of 6.7, and the average value of the ability of understanding mathematical concepts control class 59.75 with a standard deviation of 8.6. Based on the results of hypothesis test obtained t at 5.46 and 1.67 ttable on the real level of 0.05. From the results of these calculations seem that thitung greater than ttabel this H1 accepted, meaning the ability of understanding mathematical concepts taught students through cooperative learning model Think Pair share better than the ability of understanding mathematical concepts that students are taught through direct learning model. Uji Zona Hambat Kombinasi Ekstrak Bawang Putih (Allium sativum) dan Buah Mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia) terhadap Bakteri Escherichia coli

Escherichia coli bacteria is the most common cause of gastroenteritis (diarrhea), urinary tract infections (UTI), food poisoning, and other clinical problems such as neonatal miningitis. Garlic (Allium sativum) and Noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia) are plants that have antimicrobial properties, which can be used against bacteria such as E. Coli. This study was conducted to determine the inhibition zone combination of garlic extract (Allium sativum) and Noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia) against gram negative bacteria E. Coli. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of Microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya, and has been ethically feasible. This study was divided into 4 groups with replications 6 times each; group P0 (sterile distilled water), P1 (50% garlic + 25% noni fruit), P2 (50% garlic + 50% noni fruit), P3 (50% garlic + 75% noni fruit). Data were analyzed using One-way ANOVA test. The analysis results showed that the average diameter of the inhibition zone formed was the largest in group P1 (10.7 mm) and the smallest in group P0 (0 mm), while in P2 (9.89 mm), and P3 (9.77 mm). Based on the analysis test, the higher the concentration of noni fruit given to the extract combination resulted in the smaller diameter of the inhibition zone. This occurs due to the combination of garlic and Noni fruit has an antagonistic effect that depend on bacterial species, temperature, pH, chemical structure, chemical reactions, and concentrations or doses of antimicrobial compounds. The results also showed that there was no significant difference between group P1 and group P2, group P1 with group P3 and group P2 with group P3 showing p-value> 0.005

Pengaruh Metode Pancingan Kata Kunci Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Puisi Oleh Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Swasta Mulia Pratama Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2014/2015

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran metode pancingan kata kunci terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi oleh siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Mulia Pratama Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2014/2015.Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Swasta Mulia Pratama Medan sebanyak 128 orang dan sampel diambil secara acak sebanyak 32 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest design.Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes menulis puisi. Nilai rata-rata posttest adalah 84,37, sedangkan nilai pretest adalah 77,66. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rata-rata menulis puisi setelah perlakuan lebih tinggi daripada nilai sebelum perlakuan.Uji homogenitas berdasarkan tabel distribusi F pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan dk pembilang dan dk penyebut 32, diperoleh Ftabel yaitu 6,57 dan Fhitung 26,5. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Fhitung ttabel yakni 5,78>2,03. Dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima.Hal ini membuktikan bahwa metode pembelajaran pancingan kata kunci berpengaruh positif dalam menulis puisi

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the asset management post-expansion area and its effecton the quality of financial reports of government in South Tapanuli.This study is a qualitative descriptive study,which aims to explore the factors that affect the asset management post-expansion area and its effect on thequality of financial reporting. Data were collected through interviews with the informants, the studydocumentation, as well as observation or triangulation or a mix of all three. Stages of data analysis used includedata reduction, display data, and drawing conclusions or verification in the preparation of a workinghypothesis.The results showed that factors affecting the asset management division of the post in theGovernment of South Tapanuli include: human resources knowledge assets management, proof of ownership ofassets, valuation of assets, leadership commitment, and attitude: lack of awareness and responsibility.Management of assets after the post-expansion area affects the quality of government financial reports.Keywords: Expansion Areas, Asset Management, Quality of Financial Statement

Information Communication and Technology for Political Communication Ethics

The purpose of the research is to know about political communication ethics in a demonstration. Political communication ethics is one of the efforts to prevent anarchic actions in demonstrations. In a demonstration, there are ways of expressing opinions to understand. Anarchic demonstrations can cause the goal of the demonstration not to be achieved. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. In this research, researchers use data analysis to explain political communication ethics in the demonstration in Indonesia. The results of this study show that in political communication ethics there is politeness. Therefore, demonstrating is required to understand ethics in expressing opinions. This political ethic is influenced by social, cultural, political, and economic factors developed in society. An ethical demonstration can lead to the achievement of the objectives of the demonstration. The result of this research's discussion is that political communication ethics adhere to politeness, so that political communication ethics requires political communication actors to understand the social, cultural, political, and economic influences on political communication. By understanding the ethics of political communication, it will create a peaceful demonstration

Strategi Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN) Dalam Mencegah Dan Memberantas Peredaran Narkoba Di Kota Tanjungbalai

The Tanjungbalai City National Narcotics Agency is a government agency that has the authority to take action to prevent and eradicate drug trafficking in the Tanjungbalai City area. Through this research it can be seen that the Tanjungbalai BNN with all its resources and efforts has carried out drug prevention by using prevention strategies through programs that are arranged systematically as in the results of the BNN Strategic Plan in which there are concrete activities of the programs to be implemented in an effort to prevention and eradication. A supporting factor in the National Narcotics Agency's strategy in preventing eradication is the support from the government and other government agencies as well as some members of the public who care about this prevention. Then what becomes the inhibiting factor in this prevention is the drug problem which is increasingly complex and requires a large amount of money to prevent it. Besides that, it is necessary to increase the number of juridical and physical personnel because human resources are important actors in a policy. However, the Tanjungbalai City BNN continues to carry out its duties to the maximum extent possible to eradicate the perpetrators of narcotics crimes
