The aim of the paper was to prove the impact of aerobically programmed physical activities on body mass and volume and reducing the ratio of fatty and non-fatty mass to 30-40-year-old females. For this purpose, the research has included a sample of 30 females who have undergone a three months program with 3 training sessions per week. Eight anthropometric variables were applied for the processing of results and the confirmation of the difference between the initial and the final state, it has been applied the t-test for dependent groups within the SPSS statistics 21.0 program. The training program with aerobic exercises applied to this group of women shows that aerobic exercises influence positively weight reduction and passive body mass and so, it should be part of fitness exercises in order to improve the health condition

The basic purpose of this paper is to distinguish between the motor characteristics of students (male-female) and 12-year-old age groups of SHFMU "Selami Hallaci" in Gjilan. The sample of this research includes a total of 100 (50 female and 50 male) students who undergo regular physical education and sports two hours a week.6 basic motor variables were applied in the research, and based on it, significant differences were obtained. To confirm the differences between students in the basic motor variables, the T-test method was used. Based on the results obtained through this method, valid changes were realized in some of the basic motor variables of. Significant values were obtained in estimating the correlation in some of the motor variables. All these important differences between the mean values in favor of men confirm and confirm that students (men) are more active and agile than the girls tested

The population from which the sample is taken for this paper is defined as the population of senior culminating athletes in the game of volleyball and handball, in the Kosovo superleague. The sample for the purposes of this research will include 100 female athletes, respectively, 50 female volleyball players and 50 female habdball players. The variables that are applied in this research are anthropometric and motor variables.8 anthropometric variables and7motor variables were applied. The results obtained from the collection of information and their processing, shows that the gained differencies between female volleyball players and female handball players in the motor variables of the explosive and situational force, indicate that during the preparatory phase in the volleyball game, it was expercised in the right way in the raising of these motor skills, while it was not given enough in the importance to the expercises of the explosive force of lower extremities

Athletics disciplines are characterized by motor movements that can be successfully applied during the educational process or through other forms of exercise, which significantly affect the development of general psychophysical abilities of individuals. Each of the disciplines of athletics acts on the development of individual abilities, but also on the general psychophysical status of man and for this reason athletics is called the "queen of sports". Athletic activities have a characteristic of participant inclusion. The values of the paper will be based on the purpose of anthropometric, basic motor and specific motor characteristics of students aged 21 years ± 6 months.A total of 70 male students, 7 anthropometric variables, 7 motor variables and 1 specific motor variable that were tested during the period of May, of the academic year, 2020/2021 were included in the research. In the basic parameters students, based on the results achieved in this anthropometric variable, are presented as a moderately homogeneous group.Although it is seen that the acquired flexibility and convexity (Skewness and Kurtosis) have a pronounced asymmetry, in the vast majority of anthropometric variables. Although it is seen that the acquired flexibility and convexity (Skewness and Kurtosis) have a pronounced asymmetry, in the vast majority of motor and criterion variables. Thus the statistically significant coefficients of the variables with the highest degree of statistical inference (p <0.01) are denoted by two asterisks. With easier statistical conclusion criterion (p <0.05) correlation coefficients. All variables have statistically significant correlation to all anthropometric, basic and criterion motor variables

The primary purpose of this paper is to determine and prove the impact of loads with different intensities on the treadmill on the heart frequency, as well as to prove the relationship and impact of some anthropometric and motor parameters on the physiological one in the manifest space. In harmony with the purpose of the research, three basic hypotheses have been presented that cover the anthropological research fields. In this paper, 19-year-old students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences are included. To achieve the purpose of the paper, a sample of 80 students who were regular students during the year 2022/2023 was included. Four anthropometric variables, three motor tests (running tests) and four physiological tests (pulse at rest and during loads) are included in this paper. For the three groups of the system of variables, the basic statistical and distribution parameters for each variable, as well as the measures of asymmetry and normal distribution, were calculated. Then the correlations between the variables in the manifest space, as well as the correlations between the system of variables. In order to determine the relationship between predictor variables (anthropometric and motor characteristics) and criterion variables (results of functional skills), regression analysis was applied in the manifest space. The processing of the results shows that the obtained values do not deviate from the normal distribution, which completes their metric characteristics. The impact of morphological and motor factors on heart rate results has not been proven

The impact of the educational level of the family on the lifestyle of children before and during the COVID-19 pandemic

The lifestyle of children is most affected by the family, which is defined as a basic social community based on the common life of a close circle of blood relatives, usually parents and children, in which biological-reproductive, economic and education functions are combined. The purpose of the research is to confirm the impact of the educational level of parents on the lifestyle of their children before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research included 110 students of both genders from SHMT “Mehmet Isai” and SHMAT “Arbëria” in Gjilan divided into two groups of 55 students, according to the educational level of their parents. The lifestyle survey included 8 questions on physical activity, daily cigarette consumption, alcohol, drug use, eating habits and sleep before and during COVID -19 pandemic. To verify the difference between the groups, the Chi-square test (χ² test) was applied. Survey analysis shows that children of parents with higher educational level have more knowledge about the role of physical activity and spend more time on physical activity, consume less cigarettes and alcohol and more regular eating and sleeping habits at the level p<0.00. We can conclude that the educational level of the parents has a significant impact on the motivation of children to engage in physical activity, reducing the consumption of cigarettes and alcohol, for sleep and regular nutrition.

Status and Trends of Physical Activity Surveillance, Policy, and Research in 164 Countries: Findings From the Global Observatory for Physical Activity—GoPA! 2015 and 2020 Surveys

    Get PDF
Background: Physical activity (PA) surveillance, policy, and research efforts need to be periodically appraised to gain insight into national and global capacities for PA promotion. The aim of this paper was to assess the status and trends in PA surveillance, policy, and research in 164 countries. Methods: We used data from the Global Observatory for Physical Activity (GoPA!) 2015 and 2020 surveys. Comprehensive searches were performed for each country to determine the level of development of their PA surveillance, policy, and research, and the findings were verified by the GoPA! Country Contacts. Trends were analyzed based on the data available for both survey years. Results: The global 5-year progress in all 3 indicators was modest, with most countries either improving or staying at the same level. PA surveillance, policy, and research improved or remained at a high level in 48.1%, 40.6%, and 42.1% of the countries, respectively. PA surveillance, policy, and research scores decreased or remained at a low level in 8.3%, 15.8%, and 28.6% of the countries, respectively. The highest capacity for PA promotion was found in Europe, the lowest in Africa and low- and lower-middle-income countries. Although a large percentage of the world’s population benefit from at least some PA policy, surveillance, and research efforts in their countries, 49.6 million people are without PA surveillance, 629.4 million people are without PA policy, and 108.7 million live in countries without any PA research output. A total of 6.3 billion people or 88.2% of the world’s population live in countries where PA promotion capacity should be significantly improved. Conclusion: Despite PA is essential for health, there are large inequalities between countries and world regions in their capacity to promote PA. Coordinated efforts are needed to reduce the inequalities and improve the global capacity for PA promotion.</jats:p
