    Teaching Staff Background of Reforms in Russian Preschool Education and the Professional Development of Teachers

    AbstractThe article presents the international assessment system «Early Child Environment Rating Scale (revised edition)» (ECERS-R) as the tool for enhancing of preschool education quality in Russia and for professional development of teachers. The discussing points of the survey of teachers’ readiness to the educational reforms are revealed. Some ways of staff training with the help of ECERS-R are discussed which were designed in the Laboratory of Child Development (Institute of System Projects of Moscow City University)

    METHOD VALIDATION OF SIMVASTATIN IN PCL-PEG-PCL TRIBLOCK COPOLYMER MICELLES USING UV-VIS SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC FOR SOLUBILITY ENHANCEMENT ASSAY

    Objective: This study aims to increase the solubility of simvastatin (SIM), a hydrophobic drug, by incorporating it into PCL-PEG-PCL triblock copolymer micelles and validating the assay method used, namely Uv-Vis spectrophotometric. Methods: The shake flask method was used to determine the increase in solubility experienced by SIM after being incorporated into the micellar system. The values ​​of maximum wavelength (λmax), linearity, LOD, LOQ, accuracy, and precision were used as parameters measured to assess the validity of the assay method used. Results: The results showed that PCL-PEG-PCL triblock copolymer micelles could increase SIM solubility by 9.7 times (89.49±5.75 µg/ml) compared to SIM without modification (9.19±0.24 µg/ml). The validation results show the λmax value of 239 nm, a linear calibration curve with an R-value of 0.9994, LOD and LOQ of 0.33 µg/ml and 1.00 µg/ml, accurate measurement with recovery at concentrations of 80%, 100%, and 120% were 102.93±1.32%, 100.78±0.40%, and 104.58±0.79% and also had good precision ​​with RSD<2%. Conclusion: The PCL-PEG-PCL triblock copolymer micelles can increase SIM solubility and the Uv-Vis spectrophotometric method has been validated successfully for the quantitative analysis of SIM in PCL-PEG-PCL triblock copolymer micelles

    Investigation of the mechanism of microplasma impact on iron and aluminum load using solutions of organic substances

    The paper reports on the study of mechanism of electroeffects on iron and aluminum and pellets with using solutions of organic substances. Methylene blue solution, furacilin and eosin were used. It is observed the reactions of the pulse at the time and after switching off the voltage source. It is shown that there are two developing process in the conditions studied. The first process depends on material of electrodes and pulse parameters. The second process occurs spontaneously and it is determined by the redox reaction and sorption processes. The products of electrode erosion and active particles react in the redox reactions. Active particles are formed in solution by the action of pulsed electric discharge in water. The highest efficiency of the process was demonstrated on an iron pellets

    Узагальнено підходи щодо визначення сутності поняття «контролінг», визначено особливості розуміння цієї категорії в окремих країнах світу. Систематизовано і розкрито сутність сучасних методів контролінгу витрат (загальнонаукові та специфічні), які використовуються підприємствами для підвищення ефективності прийняття управлінських рішень у сучасних умовах їх розвитку. Із використанням показників площі сільськогосподарських угідь та величини адміністративних витрат на 1 га сільськогосподарських угідь у сільськогосподарських підприємствах Харківської області у 2020 р. обґрунтована необхідність впровадження служби контролінгу на підприємствах, площа сільськогосподарських угідь яких перевищує 6500 га.The article demonstrates the necessity of considering the problem of developing a controlling system at the enterprise level. Approaches to defining the essence of the concept of "controlling" are systematized, as well as the peculiarities of understanding the definition in some countries, in particular, the existence of various aspects of their understanding and application at the level of global economic entities, and specifically in Ukraine. The existence of a controlling service at the enterprise level, or the inclusion of its specialists in the financial service of the enterprise, are deemed as necessary in order to make informed decisions aimed at achieving the strategic goals of the enterprise. The essence of modern methods of cost control (general and specific), which are used by enterprises to increase the efficiency of management decisions in modern conditions of their development, is systematized and explored. Using statistical data of agricultural enterprises within the Kharkiv region for 2020, in particular, indicators of agricultural land area and administrative costs per 1 ha of agricultural land and, using the equation of the third order parabola, extreme points are determined – that is, their maximum and minimum values. The obtained results served as a basis for the conclusion on the need to introduce a controlling service within enterprises with an area of agricultural land exceeding 6,500 hectares

    Study of adsorption process of iron colloid substances on activated carbon by ultrasound

    The paper reports on the adsorption of iron colloid substances on activated carbon (PAC) Norit SA UF with using ultrasound. It is found that time of adsorption is equal to three hours. High-frequency electrical oscillation is 35 kHz. The adsorption capacity of activated carbon was determined and it is equal to about 0.25 mg iron colloid substances /mg PAC. The iron colloid substances size ranging from 30 to 360 nm was determined. The zeta potential of iron colloid substances which consists of iron (III) hydroxide, silicon compounds and natura organic substances is about (-38mV). The process of destruction iron colloid substances occurs with subsequent formation of a precipitate in the form of Fe(OH)[3] as a result of the removal of organic substances from the model solution

    Transcriptomic changes triggered by ouabain in rat cerebellum granule cells: Role of α3- and α1-Na+,K+-ATPase-mediated signaling

    It was shown previously that inhibition of the ubiquitous α1 isoform of Na+,K+-ATPase by ouabain sharply affects gene expression profile via elevation of intracellular [Na+]i/[K+]i ratio. Unlike other cells, neurons are abundant in the α3 isoform of Na+,K+-ATPase, whose affinity in rodents to ouabain is 104-fold higher compared to the α1 isoform. With these sharp differences in mind, we compared transcriptomic changes in rat cerebellum granule cells triggered by inhibition of α1- and α3-Na+,K+-ATPase isoforms. Inhibition of α1- and α3-Na+,K+-ATPase isoforms by 1 mM ouabain resulted in dissipation of transmembrane Na+ and K+ gradients and differential expression of 994 transcripts, whereas selective inhibition of α3-Na+,K+-ATPase isoform by 100 nM ouabain affected expression of 144 transcripts without any impact on the [Na+]i/[K+]i ratio. The list of genes whose expression was affected by 1 mM ouabain by more than 2-fold was abundant in intermediates of intracellular signaling and transcription regulators, including augmented content of Npas4, Fos, Junb, Atf3, and Klf4 mRNAs, whose upregulated expression was demonstrated in neurons subjected to electrical and glutamatergic stimulation. The role [Na+]i/[K+]i-mediated signaling in transcriptomic changes involved in memory formation and storage should be examined further

    В мировой практике вузовского образования длительное время существовало традиционное представление об университете как центре образования и науки. Современный городской университет расширяет границы образовательных и научных проектов и становится флагманом в формировании образовательной, социокультурной и интеллектуальной среды города и общества. В ракурсе исследовательской и социальной миссии университета появляется необходимость обновления и развития стратегий взаимодействия с городом. В качестве одного из шагов в данном направлении можно рассматривать коммуникацию с горожанами через популяризацию научных знаний и достижений университетов среди широкого круга пользователей. Это позволит решить задачи формирования интереса к фундаментальной и прикладной науке, развития человеческого капитала в интересах регионов, повышения научной грамотности населения и создания условий для интеллектуального развития молодежи, вовлечения молодых людей и других категорий населения в исследовательскую деятельность, а также повышения престижа и социальной привлекательности науки. В связи с этим в настоящей работе была предпринята попытка проанализировать опыт и форматы популяризации науки университетами и на этой основе разработать модель университетского центра публичной науки.In the international practice of higher education, a university has traditionally been considered as a center for education and science. A modern urban university, however, breaks through the boundaries of educational and scientific projects and pioneers the development of the learning, social, cultural, and intellectual environment of the city and its dwellers. In the view of the research-based and community-oriented mission of the university, there is a need to reinvent and further develop the communication strategies between the university and the urban residents. As one of the steps in this direction, the authors suggest communicating with the citizens through the promotion of university-developed scientific knowledge and research results among wider public. This will solve the challenges of making people interested in the fundamental and applied sciences, developing the human capital for the benefit of the regions, increasing the level of scientific literacy among citizens, creating conditions for the intellectual development of the youth, involving young people and representatives of other age groups in the research activities, and enhancing the prestige and social attractiveness of science. Pursuing these tasks, in this paper the authors study the practices and the formats of science promotion undertaken by the universities and suggest a model of a university-based center for public science

    The article deals with the reform of rural education, which requires far-sighted, well-balanced and wise educational policy, since today it is the center of preservation of national culture and traditions, historical memory and mentality of the Ukrainian people. It is determined that in order to optimize the school network, it is necessary to construct criteria for determining the reference school. The authors state that the current toolkit does not make it possible to clearly determine the effectiveness of the work and the prospects for the development of a comprehensive school in rural areas. The article develops the criteria for the analysis and evaluation of the quality of the educational process and the prospects for the development of a particular school, which allow to conduct an evaluation using the proposed indicators for each criterion presented in numerical form. The advantages of the reference school for pupils and their parents are presented, which significantly affect the quality of education and allow it to become accessible to the public. In the educational area of Ukraine, there are various models of consolidation of rural schools. The benefits from any of them are obvious today: for pupils and their parents, a significant improvement in the quality of education that becomes public; increasing of chances to be admitted to higher education institutions and continuing education both in Ukraine and abroad; freedom to choose educational programs and profiles (variation and profile of education); Opportunities for each student to build their own educational trajectory; tudents' socialization; their harmonious development in conditions of healthy competition. The authrs are persuaded that the social factor is directly related to the specifics of rural life, the conditions of management, and so on. In addition,it is expressed more vivid in the village compared to the city when it comes to the related stereotypes. The informational factor plays an exceptional role in the development of a student. It is wellknown that the most important teacher and educator is the school environment, children's team. It is the factor which teaches the child to communicate, create the appropriate conditions for the development of different models of behavior and social roles. The older the child, the more important it is for the children's community The authors confirm that rural schools reform requires far-sighted, well-considered and wise educational policy, because today it is the last pillar of preserving national culture and traditions, historical memory and mentality of the Ukrainian people.It is generally accepted that educational undertaking requires patience, effort, hard and faithful work. The authors expressed their blief in a reasonable and forward-looking educational policy, stable support and guarantees of the state, wise administration of the field, trust and initiative of the public, the support schools will become true centers of affordable quality education in Ukraine.У статті в контексті сучасних аспектів громадського управління освітою розглянуто реформування сільської школи, що потребує далекоглядної, виваженої й мудрої освітньої політики, оскільки така школа є осередком збереження національної культури і традицій, історичної пам’яті й ментальності українського народу. Встановлено, що чинний інструментарій не дає можливості чітко визначити ефективність роботи та перспективи розвитку загальноосвітньої школи сільської місцевості, тому для оптимізації шкільної мережі необхідно обгрунтувати критерії такої опорної школи.
