    Peningkatan Keterampilan Membaca Pemahaman Melalui Metode SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) Pada Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 03 Rejosari Kecamatan Dawe Kabupaten Kudus Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia melalui metode SQ3R ( Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 03 Rejosari Kecamatan Dawe Kabupaten Kudus Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus. Masing-masng siklus ini terdapat 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian yang dikenai tindakan ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 03 Rejosari yang berjumlah 12 siswa, sedangkan obyek penelitiannya adalah keterampilan membaca pemahaman. Dalam penelitian tersebut teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif. Analisis data ini terdiri dari 3 komponen yakni reduksi data, paparan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terdapat peningkatan indikator keterampilan membaca pemahaman meliputi : 1) Keterampilan mengenal sistem tulisan dalam bacaan tahap pra siklus sebesar 41,66%, siklus I 75,00% dan siklus II 83,33%, 2)Keterampilan mengenal kosakata tahap pra siklus sebesar 58,33%, siklus I 66,67%, siklus II 75,00%, 3)Keterampilan mengidentifikasi topik dan letak kalimat utama tahap pra siklus sebesar 41,66%, siklus I 75,00%, siklus II 83,33%, 4)Keterampilan menentukan makna kata sukar tahap pra siklus sebesar 50,00%, siklus I 66,67%, siklus II 75,00%, 5)Keterampilan membedakan ide utama dari kalimat pendukung tahap pra siklus sebesar 41,66%, siklus I 66,67%, siklus II 83,33%, 6)Nilai siswa lebih dari KKM (≥65) pra siklus 41,66%, siklus I 66,67%, siklus II 83,33%. Dari data di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode SQ3R dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 03 Rejosari Kecamatan Dawe Kabupaten Kudus Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013

    Incarcerating waived juveniles in adult correctional facilities does not reduce crime or result in increased public safety; incarcerating juveniles with adults is deleterious to both the individual offender and society. This Note argues for a renewed focus on rehabilitative rather than retributive justice, and in so doing, proposes the implementation of a comprehensive continuum of graduated sanctions that includes networks of small, secure, highly structured maximum-security juvenile facilities, wilderness camps, residential and non-residential community-based programs, restitution, and fines. This Note further advocates for the incorporation of extensive education, vocational training and placement, counseling, treatment, supervision, mentoring, transitional, aftercare, and support services. By providing the appropriate services in the appropriate setting, youthful offenders can be rehabilitated while simultaneously being held accountable for their actions; recidivism will be reduced and both society and the youth will be better served

    Since the 1970's Israel's educational policy has been going through a change generated by the neo-liberal agenda. In this light, it is not surprising that since the 1990's Israel has adopted the Global Education Reform Movement (GERM) and its main characteristics in its education system. In this light, the current research will focus on a newly born pre-K policy formation process that went on its way characterized as being GERM in nature, but ended up with anti-GERM characteristics. Using historical-narrative qualitative tools, this paper will portray and analyze main factors that generated the new anti-GERMian reform. We will outline conclusions from the Israeli case study to a potential theoretical referential framework that emphasis a more complex, hybrid or dual outlook at the GERM containing its antidote within itself

    MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR ILMIAH PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH MATERI ZAT ADITIF

    This research aimed to describe the improvement of students' scientific thinking skills on additive material using problem-based learning model implemented in one of public Junior High Schools in Surabaya. This research design used one-group pretest-posttest. This research involved 36 students of class VIII. This research's data collection methods included observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of problem-based learning got the average result from two meetings at 94.5% (very good). The average normalized gain for all students in the medium category. The average normalized gain of students in each sub-indicator of scientific thinking ability, namely: inquiry and analysis, increased in the high category, while inference and argumentation increased in the medium category. The students' responses to problem-based learning got very good results. Therefore, it can be concluded that problem-based learning can improve scientific thinking skills on additive material

    Neuronal Cell Type Classification using Deep Learning

    The brain is likely the most complex organ, given the variety of functions it controls, the number of cells it comprises, and their corresponding diversity. Studying and identifying neurons, the brain's primary building blocks, is a crucial milestone and essential for understanding brain function in health and disease. Recent developments in machine learning have provided advanced abilities for classifying neurons. However, these methods remain black boxes with no explainability and reasoning. This paper aims to provide a robust and explainable deep-learning framework to classify neurons based on their electrophysiological activity. Our analysis is performed on data provided by the Allen Cell Types database containing a survey of biological features derived from single-cell recordings of mice and humans. First, we classify neuronal cell types of mice data to identify excitatory and inhibitory neurons. Then, neurons are categorized to their broad types in humans using domain adaptation from mice data. Lastly, neurons are classified into sub-types based on transgenic mouse lines using deep neural networks in an explainable fashion. We show state-of-the-art results in a dendrite-type classification of excitatory vs. inhibitory neurons and transgenic mouse lines classification. The model is also inherently interpretable, revealing the correlations between neuronal types and their electrophysiological properties

    An Analytical Approach to Neuronal Connectivity

    This paper describes how realistic neuromorphic networks can have their connectivity properties fully characterized in analytical fashion. By assuming that all neurons have the same shape and are regularly distributed along the two-dimensional orthogonal lattice with parameter Δ\Delta, it is possible to obtain the accurate number of connections and cycles of any length from the autoconvolution function as well as from the respective spectral density derived from the adjacency matrix. It is shown that neuronal shape plays an important role in defining the spatial spread of network connections. In addition, most such networks are characterized by the interesting phenomenon where the connections are progressively shifted along the spatial domain where the network is embedded. It is also shown that the number of cycles follows a power law with their respective length. Morphological measurements for characterization of the spatial distribution of connections, including the adjacency matrix spectral density and the lacunarity of the connections, are suggested. The potential of the proposed approach is illustrated with respect to digital images of real neuronal cells.Comment: 4 pages, 6 figure

    Pada skripsi ini, penulis mengangkat permasalahan hukum terkait ditemukannya disparitas putusan hakim terhadap posisi kasus yang sama yaitu cerai talak karena istri yang mengalami gangguan kejiwaan dengan fasakh dan talak, perbedaan hasil putusan tersebut menimbulkan akibat hukum yang berbeda, sehingga perlu mengkaji mengenai dasar pertimbangan dari hakim untuk mendapatkan kejelasan mengenai alasan hukum hakim dalam kedua putusan dan akibat hukumnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, karya tulis ini mengangkat rumusan masalah : (1) Apa dasar pertimbangan Hakim dalam putusan fasakh dan putusan talak karena istri mengalami gangguan kejiwaan dalam putusan Nomor: 2342/Pdt.G/2016/PA.Kab.Kdr. dan Putusan Nomor: 1013/Pdt.G/2015/PA.Tbn. ? (2) Apa akibat hukum terhadap status perkawinan dari putusan fasakh dan putusan talak karena istri mengalami gangguan kejiwaan? Penulisan ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif dengan pendekatan peraturan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan kasus. Pendekatan perundang-undangan dilakukan untuk meneliti ketentuan-ketentuan yang mengatur mengenai fasakh dan talak baik dari hukum positif Indonesia dan hukum fikih islam. Pendekatan kasus digunakan sebagai dasar pengkajian yang mendalam untuk mempelajari penerapan norma-norma atau kaidah hukum yang dilakukan dalam praktek hukum. Kemudian dilakukan teknik analisis bahan hukum menggunakan metode interpretasi sistematis. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode tersebut, penulis memperoleh jawaban bahwa putusnya perkawinan dengan talak dan fasakh merupakan dua hal yang berbeda meskipun sebagai cara untuk mengakhiri perkawinan dan hakim dalam memutus dengan fasakh dengan dasar pertimbangan hukum menggunakan hukum fikih Islam dengan alasan istri yang mengalami gangguan kejiwaan perkawinannya dapat difasakh serta dasar pertimbangan hakim memutus dengan talak menggunakan pasal 39 Undang-Undang Perkawinn dan pasal 116 huruf f Kompilasi Hukum Islam. Akibat hukum yang timbul dari putusan fasakh adalah perkawinan menjadi batal atau rusak sesuai dengan hukum fikih Islam sejak hakim memberikan putusan namun dalam Kompilasi Hukum Islam terdapat masa iddah sesuai dengan iddah talak, sedangkan akibat putusan talak terhadap status perkawinan antar Pemohon dan Termohon adalah putus karena talak dengan dijatuhkannnya talak satu raj’i hubungan perkawinan tidak putus seketika tetapimasih ada hak suami untuk rujuk selama menunggu masa iddah istri berakhir yaitu 3 kali suci atau 90 har
