DIPSI: a Monte Carlo generator for elastic vector meson production in charged lepton-proton scattering
We present a Monte Carlo generator for exclusive vector meson production in
charged lepton-proton interactions, l+p --> l+p+V, based on a QCD leading
logarithm model calculation according to which the cross section for this
process is proportional to the square of the gluon momentum density in the
proton. The generator can be used for both fixed target and collider
kinematics. Each event is assigned a weight equal to its cross section, so that
the independent variables can be generated according to convenient

Anomalous f_1 exchange in vector meson photoproduction asymmetries
We perform an analysis of the elastic production of vector mesons with
polarized photon beams at high energy in order to investigate the validity of a
recently proposed dynamical mechanism based on the dominance of the f_1
trajectory at large momentum transfer. The density matrix characterizing the
angular distributions of the vector meson decays is calculated within an
exchange model which includes the Pomeron and the f_1. The asymmetries of these
decays turn out to be very useful to disentangle the role of these exchanges
since their effect depends crucially on their quantum numbers which are
different. The observables analyzed are accessible with present experimental

Pomeron exchange and exclusive electroproduction of rho-mesons in QCD
A Pomeron-exchange model of exclusive electroproduction of -mesons is
examined using a dressed-quark propagator. It is shown that by representing the
photon--meson-Pomeron coupling by a nonperturbative, confined-quark loop,
one obtains predictions for -meson electroproduction that are in good

The dependence of the hard diffractive photoproduction of vector meson or photon and the range of pQCD validity
We consider two coupled problems.
We study the dependence on photon virtuality for the semihard
quasi--elastic photoproduction of neutral vector mesons on a quark, gluon or
real photon (at
GeV)). To this end we calculate the corresponding amplitudes (in an
analytical form) in the lowest nontrivial approximation of perturbative QCD. It
is shown that the amplitude for the production of light meson varies very
rapidly with the photon virtuality near .
We estimate the bound of the pQCD validity region for such processes. For the
real incident photon the obtained bound for the meson production is very
high. This bound decreases fast with the increase of , and we expect that
the virtual photoproduction at HERA gives opportunity to test the pQCD results.
The signature of this region is discussed. For the hard Compton effect the pQCD
should work good at not too high , and this effect seems measurable

Exclusive diffractive processes and the quark substructure of mesons
Exclusive diffractive processes on the nucleon are investigated within a
model in which the quark-nucleon interaction is mediated by Pomeron exchange
and the quark substructure of mesons is described within a framework based on
the Dyson-Schwinger equations of QCD. The model quark-nucleon interaction has
four parameters which are completely determined by high-energy and elastic scattering data. The model is then used to predict vector-meson
electroproduction observables. The obtained - and -meson
electroproduction cross sections are in excellent agreement with experimental
data. The predicted dependence of -meson electroproduction also
agrees with experimental data. It is shown that confined-quark dynamics play a
central role in determining the behavior of the diffractive, vector-meson
electroproduction cross section. In particular, the onset of the asymptotic
behavior of the cross section is determined by a momentum scale that is
set by the current-quark masses of the quark and antiquark inside the vector
meson. This is the origin of the striking differences between the
dependence of -, - and -meson electroproduction cross

Biocultural approaches to sustainability : A systematic review of the scientific literature
Current sustainability challenges demand approaches that acknowledge a plurality of human-nature interactions and worldviews, for which biocultural approaches are considered appropriate and timely. This systematic review analyses the application of biocultural approaches to sustainability in scientific journal articles published between 1990 and 2018 through a mixed methods approach combining qualitative content analysis and quantitative multivariate methods. The study identifies seven distinct biocultural lenses, that is, different ways of understanding and applying biocultural approaches, which to different degrees consider the key aspects of sustainability science-inter- and transdisciplinarity, social justice and normativity. The review suggests that biocultural approaches in sustainability science need to move from describing how nature and culture are co-produced to co-producing knowledge for sustainability solutions, and in so doing, better account for questions of power, gender and transformations, which has been largely neglected thus far. Nonperturbative and perturbative aspects of photo- and electroproduction of vector mesons
We discuss various aspects of vector meson production, first analysing the
interplay between perturbative and nonperturbative aspects of the QCD
calculation. Using a general method adapted to incorporate both perturbative
and nonpertubative aspects, we show that nonperturbative effects are important
for all experimentally available values of the photon virtuality Q2. We compare
the huge amount of experimental information now available with our theoretical
results obtained using a specific nonperturbative model without free
parameters, showing that quite simple features are able to explain the data.Comment: 19 page
The Wave Function of 2S Radially Excited Vector Mesons from Data for Diffraction Slope
In the color dipole gBFKL dynamics we predict a strikingly different Q^2 and
energy dependence of the diffraction slope for the elastic production of ground
state V(1S) and radially excited V'(2S) light vector mesons. The color dipole
model predictions for the diffraction slope for \rho^0 and \phi^0 production
are in a good agreement with the data from the fixed target and collider HERA
experiments. We present how a different form of anomalous energy and Q^2
dependence of the diffraction slope for V'(2S) production leads to a different
position of the node in radial wave function and discuss a possibility how to

A Unified Model of Exclusive , and \jpsi Electroproduction
A two-component model is developed for diffractive electroproduction of
, and \jpsi, based on non-perturbative and perturbative
two-gluon exchange. This provides a common kinematical structure for
non-perturbative and perturbative effects, and allows the role of the
vector-meson vertex functions to be explored independently of the production
