The multispecific thyroid hormone transporter OATP1C1 mediates cell-specific sulforhodamine 101-labeling of hippocampal astrocytes
Sulforhodamine 101 (SR101) is widely used for astrocyte identification, though the labeling mechanism remains unknown and the efficacy of labeling in different brain regions is heterogeneous. By combining region-specific isolation of astrocytes followed by transcriptome analysis, two-photon excitation microscopy, and mouse genetics, we identified the thyroid hormone transporter OATP1C1 as the SR101-uptake transporter in hippocampus and cortex. Messaging standard requirements for electronic health records in Islamic republic of Iran: A delphi study Critères des normes de messagerie pour les dossiers de santé électroniques en République islamique d�Iran: Une étude selon la méthode de Delphes
The present descriptive�comparative study was conducted to give an overview of the messaging standards that are necessary for interoperable electronic health records (EHRs). We designed a preliminary model after data collection and compared the messaging standards of Health Level Seven (HL7) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The data were assessed with the Delphi technique. A comprehensive model for the messaging standards of EHRs in the Islamic Republic of Iran was presented in three pivots: structural characteristics (standard for all EHRs, XML-based and object-oriented messages, and dual model); model specifications (reference model, archetypes and classes of reference model), and general features (distinct ontology, mapping with other standards, and using reference archetypes for exchanging documents). In conclusion, we gave an overview of messaging standards for the interoperability of EHRs and experts selected ISO13606 as a suitable standard for the Islamic Republic of Iran. © 2016, World Health Organization. Balanced Scorecard with Fuzzy Inference as a Performance Measurement in an Automotive Manufacturing line
Abstract In recent years, the balanced score card (BSC) has been the focus of considerable methodology for strategic cost management in management accounting area since it was originally proposed by Kaplan ,R.S. and Norton, D.P. in 1992. BSC is an approach to performance measurement based on both financial and nonfinancial information from four perspectives which are called financial, customer, internal business process, and learning and growth, in order to balance the traditional financial performance system by several grouping of performance measures: short-term and long-term, internal and external, and current and future. Over time, it has been developed to a strategic management system from a comprehensive performance measure, and used in many organizations such as business, hospital, and autonomy in many countries. In this paper, we propose a general model based on BSC by introducing fuzzy inference mechanism. Observational Constraints on Cosmological Models with the Updated Long Gamma-Ray Bursts
In the present work, by the help of the newly released Union2 compilation
which consists of 557 Type Ia supernovae (SNIa), we calibrate 109 long
Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) with the well-known Amati relation, using the
cosmology-independent calibration method proposed by Liang {\it et al.}. We
have obtained 59 calibrated high-redshift GRBs which can be used to constrain
cosmological models without the circularity problem (we call them ``Hymnium''
GRBs sample for convenience). Then, we consider the joint constraints on 7
cosmological models from the latest observational data, namely, the combination
of 557 Union2 SNIa dataset, 59 calibrated Hymnium GRBs dataset (obtained in
this work), the shift parameter from the WMAP 7-year data, and the distance
parameter of the measurement of the baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) peak
in the distribution of SDSS luminous red galaxies. We also briefly consider the

Kinect-Based Rehabilitation Systems for Stroke Patients: A Scoping Review
Background and Objective. Kinect-based rehabilitation is an effective solution for creating motivation and promoting adherence to rehabilitation programs in stroke patients. The current study was aimed at examining the effects of Kinect-based rehabilitation systems on performance improvement, domains of use, and its limitations for stroke patients. Method. This study was conducted according to Arksey and O'Malley's framework. To investigate the evidence on the effects of Kinect-based rehabilitation, a search was executed in five databases (Web of Science, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Scopus, and IEEE) from 2010 to 2020. Results. Thirty-three articles were finally selected by the inclusion criteria. Most of the studies had been conducted in the US (22%). In terms of the application of Kinect-based rehabilitation for stroke patients, most studies had focused on the rehabilitation of upper extremities (55%), followed by balance (27%). The majority of the studies had developed customized rehabilitation programs (36%) for the rehabilitation of stroke patients. Most of these studies had noted that the simultaneous use of Kinect-based rehabilitation and other physiotherapy methods has a more noticeable effect on performance improvement in patients. Conclusion. The simultaneous application of Kinect-based rehabilitation and other physiotherapy methods has a stronger effect on the performance improvement of stroke patients. Better effects can be achieved by designing Kinect-based rehabilitation programs tailored to the characteristics and abilities of stroke patients
Strengthening livelihood resilience in upper catchments of dry areas by integrated natural resources management
The Livelihood Resilience project evolved around the hypothesis that better integrated
management can improve the livelihoods of poor farming communities and increase the
environmental integrity and water productivity of upstream watersheds in dry areas. This
hypothesis was tested by researchers from different Iranian research and executive organizations
and farming communities in two benchmark research watersheds in upper Karkheh River Basin in
Iran, under the guidance of the ICARDA scientists. Participatory technology development, water,
soil, erosion, land degradation and vegetation assessments, livelihood, gender and policy analyses,
and integrated workshops delivered a set of principles for watershed management in dry areas
The -Flux Correlation in the Rising and Decaying Phases of Gamma-Ray Burst Pulses: Evidence for Viewing Angle Effect?
A time-resolved spectral analysis for a sample of 22 intense, broad GRB
pulses from the BATSE GRB sample is presented. We fit the spectra with the Band
function and investigate the correlation between the observed flux (F) and the
peak energy (E_p) of the spectrum in the rising and decaying phases
of these pulses. Two kinds of E_p evolution trends, i.e., hard-to-soft (the
two-third pulses in our sample) and -tracing- (the one-third
pulses in our sample) are observed in pulses from different GRBs and even from
different pulses of the same burst. No dependence of spectral evolution feature
on the pulse shape is found. A tight positive correlation is
observed in the decaying phases, with a power-law index , which is
much shallower than that expectation of the curvature effect. In the rising
phase, the observed is either correlated or anti-correlated with , depending on the spectral evolution feature, and the power-law index of
the correlation is dramatically different among pulses. More than of the
low energy photon indices in the time-resolved spectra whose is
anti-correlated with during the rising phase violate the death line of the
synchrotron radiation, disfavoring the synchrotron radiation model for these
gamma-rays. The correlation, especially for those GRBs with
-tracking- spectral evolution, may be due to the viewing angle
and jet structure effects. In this cenario, the observed
correlation in the rising phase may be due to the line of sight from off-beam
to on-beam toward a structured jet (or jitter), and the decaying phase is
contributed by both the on-beam emission and the decayed photons from high
latitude of the GRB fireball,resulting in a shallower slope of the observed

Gamma-ray bursts in the comoving frame
We estimate the bulk Lorentz factor \u3930 of 31 gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) using the measured peak time of their afterglow light curves. We consider two possible scenarios for the estimate of \u3930: the case of a homogeneous circumburst medium or a wind density profile. The values of \u3930 are broadly distributed between few tens and several hundreds with average values \u2dc138 and \u2dc66 for the homogeneous and wind density profile, respectively. We find that the isotropic energy and luminosity correlate in a similar way with \u3930, i.e. ? and ?, while the peak energy Epeak 1d\u3930. These correlations are less scattered in the wind density profile than in the homogeneous case. We then study the energetics, luminosities and spectral properties of our bursts in their comoving frame. The distribution of ? is very narrow with a dispersion of less than a decade in the wind case, clustering around ? erg s-1. Peak photon energies cluster around ?\u2dc 6 keV. The newly found correlations involving \u3930 offer a general interpretation scheme for the spectral energy correlation of GRBs. The Epeak-Eiso and Epeak-Liso correlations are due to the different \u3930 factors and the collimation-corrected correlation, Epeak-E\u3b3 (obtained by correcting the isotropic quantities for the jet opening angle \u3b8j), can be explained if ?= constant. Assuming the Epeak-E\u3b3 correlation as valid, we find a typical value of \u3b8j\u3930\u2dc 6-20, in agreement with the predictions of magnetically accelerated jet models. \ua9 2011 RAS
