    The objectives of research were: (1) to find out the role of skripsi supervisor in the students process of writing Skripsi; (2) to find out the constraints the skripsi supervisor encountered in the students process of writing skripsi; and (3) to find out the attempt the skripsi supervisor had taken to deal with such constraints in the students’ process of writing Skripsi. This study employed a qualitative research approach. The data source of research included informants, place or location, as well as document and archive. The sampling techniques used were purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Techniques of collecting data employed in this research were interviews, observation, and document analysis. The data validation was carried out using data (source) and method triangulations, meanwhile the technique of analyzing data used was an interactive analysis. Considering the result of analysis, it could be concluded that: (1) the role of skripsi supervisor in the process of writing skripsi in 2009 students of Social Science Education Department of Economics Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Surakarta UNS started the assignment of skripsi supervisor, followed by skripsi consultation; in practice it could be seen that the roles of skripsi supervisor were: directing and guiding, motivating, and mediating; (2) the constraints the skripsi supervisor encountered in the process of writing skripsi in the 2009-generation students of Social Science Education Department of Economics Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Surakarta UNS were the dense activity of skripsi supervisor, dissent among the skripsi supervisor, and the lecturer saw his/her guided students were plagiarist and undertook his/her direction lazily; (3) the attempts the skripsi supervisor had taken in dealing with the constraints in the process of writing skripsi in the 2009-generation students of Social Science Education Department of Economics Study Program of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Surakarta UNS included: to schedule the skripsi consultation time, to hold discussion among both supervisors, to hold skripsi consultation via email, and to give direction and motivation.     Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan merupakan satu-satunya pajak properti di Indonesia sebagaimana tertulis dalam undang-undang Nomor 12 tahun 1994. Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan sebagai pajak obyektif, yaitu pajak negara yang sebagaian besar penerimanya merupakan pendapatan daerah yang antara lain dipergunakan untuk penyediaan fasilitas yang juga dinikmati oleh pemerintah pusat maupun pemerintah daerah. oleh sebab itu, wajar bila pemerintah pusat juga ikut membiayai penyediaan fasilitas tersebut melalui pembayaran Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan. Pajak bumi dan bangunan (PBB) memiliki nilai rupiah kecil dibandingkan dengan pajak pusat lainnya, tetapi mempunyai dampak luas sebab hasil penerimaan pajak bumi dan bangunan dikembalikan untuk daerah yang bersangkutan. Pada dasarnya PBB mempunyai wajib pajak terbesar dibandingkan pajak-pajak lainnya, disamping itu PBB merupakan satu-satunya pajak properti di Indonesia dan mengalami dari tahun ke tahun. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data skunder. Populasi pada penlitian ini adalah seluruh wajib Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan dengan menggunakan Simple Random Sampling untuk wilayah Kelurahan Pulorejo yang berjumlah 2.123 WP rumahan, dengan jumlah sampel 96 WP. Alat uji yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier Berganda yang menggunakan program SPSS. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesadaran wajib pajak, pemahaman wajib pajak, dan sistem pemungutan berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan penerimaan Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan, teruji kebenarannya

    The Education on Emergency Response and Disaster for Junior High School Students of Surakarta

    Emergency is abnormal and dangerous situations that threaten or require quick action to control, fixed and restored it to the safety condition. Most parts of Indonesia territory are vulnerable to disasters, whether natural and non-natural disasters or social disaster. Catastrophic incident may cause an emergency situation that must be carried out prevention and control into a safe condition, especially in the city of Surakarta that have strong possibilities to have floods, fires, earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. Geographically Surakarta located in watersheds of Bengawan Solo that potentially to face emergencies situation and disasters. Floods is possible to occur due to Surakarta is surrounded by more than three large reservoirs i.e. Waduk Gajah Mungkur, Waduk Cengklik, Waduk Delingan, Waduk Lalung and Waduk Kedungombo. Surakarta is also located near to Mount Merapi, which its eruption in 2013 had covered Yogyakarta and Surakarta .Junior High School (SMP) students are aged between 13-15 years who psychologically are able to receive information properly and to follow an appropriate education and training. Education on emergency response and disasters has not been implemented adequately in Indonesia, especially in Surakarta. Through this kind education and training, junior high school students are able to well cope with the emergency response procedures including fire emergency response, evacuation of flood disasters, first aid to victims of disasters, and determine the line of communication and make a proper coordination during the disaster situation with Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana, Police, Hospitals and Fire Fighter

    Risk Factors Concerning The Fire Safety Practices of The Fuel Station Operator in Blora; A fuel station is a place having a major fire hazard accident level, in which, if an accident happens, it may cause major loss in both casualties and other material loss; and such accident had ever taken place a fuel station in Blora. This research had an objective to finding out the factors effecting fire safety practices of the fuel station operator in Blora. The used research type was an explanotory research; the used method was a survey with a cross sectional study approach. The samples used in this research were the total population as many as 73 respondents. The research result showed that there were correlation between the fire safety practices and age, sex, educational level, marital status, knowledge, attitude, rules, facilities / amenities, supervision, coworkers. There most dominant variable affecting the fire safety practises, with was attitude, with the significance value of 0.044 and OR value of 5.01

    Improved service and repair facility must be done so that visitors do not get bored for a return visit, because if the services and facilities of a tourist attraction well then the visitors will come back to visit these attractions. Tourism Object potential to attract visitors in Kediri very much. Sightseeing in Kediri district were: Tegowangi Temple, Temple Surowono, Simpang Lima Gumul, Kelud, Ubalan, Niagara Irenggolo, Petilasan Sri Aji Joyoboyo, and The Old Church Puhsarang. This method is a method that can be used to understand the object that becomes the problem. Judging from the existing problems and objectives, this study classified as survey research is "research that takes a sample of the population and the use of a questionnaire as a main data retrieval tool" Singarimbun and Effendi (1999: 40) The survey was conducted by direct field observations are accompanied by interviews with local people, community leaders and government officials who are competent to tourism in the context of collecting data and information. For that use a checklist and implemented at all locations assessed as a potential object locations. In a visit to the sites in question, also conducted Deep discusion groups / in-depth discussion involving the community, leaders and the competent government authorities. Data and information were analyzed with SWOT method, which takes into consideration a variety of factors that contribute to negative or positive: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the tourist attraction.     Anatomy learning methods are still dominated by using books, in which the material is presented in pictures and writings. The anatomy learning method using books is carried out by redrawing parts and memorizing the location and its terms. Thus, students have difficulties when they forget and want to find terms on the anatomy because it is uneasy and takes a long time. This research aims to create a system to study anatomy, especially dental anatomy, through an android-based application, and provide ease of anatomy of tooth learning using Mayer’s principle of multimedia learning on application. Based on system testing and user testing results, this application can be used as a medium of information and learning about tooth anatomy. It is evidenced by black-box testing and questionnaire results.

    English is the language of international communication, which is why most countries in the world learn it. Therefore, we need to understand and be capable of communicating in English. Today’s English learning is mostly delivered by a lecture method. Moreover, there is no English vocabulary learning media in the form of application. Therefore, this research aims to develop a game application called “Find the Object” to help elementary school students learn English vocabulary by making the learning process more fun and interesting. The pre-test, post-test, and poll results revealed that this game significantly succeeded in increasing the English vocabulary of elementary school students. It was proven through the values of tests tending to increase after playing this game, and students felt more interested in learning English vocabulary

    English has been globally used for communication and studied by almost all countries. Therefore, understanding and being able to communicate in English is crucial. A lot of English learning is currently delivered using the lecture method, but there is no medium for learning English vocabulary in an application. This study aims to create a Fun English Vocabulary Card game to improve children’s English vocabulary. To design the learning model, the design of use case and activity diagrams was utilized. Based on the pre-test and post-test results, this game significantly increased children’s English vocabulary. The average pre-test score was 43.625, and the average post-test score was 95, which indicates that the educational game application could improve users’ knowledge and understanding of English vocabulary

    Many people are interested in knowing how the public views President Joko Widodo's administration. Text Mining analysis can be one way to collect and analyze text data about Joko Widodo's administration and extract relevant information from the data. Data was obtained by collecting tweet data about Joko Widodo's government in 2022 on Twitter using Netlyitic. Then the Text Mining analysis of Joko Widodo's government was carried out using the Navie Bayes (NVB) classification and Support Vector Machine (SVM). This classification can be used to predict sentiment or public views of the government based on the tweets collected.  Based on a case study of the classification results of President Joko Widodo using Naive Bayesian classification, we obtained a precision value of 79%, a recall value of 91% and a precision value of 82%. And by using SVM, we get 85% precision, 95% recall, and 83% precision. Due to the high accuracy, recall, and precision, it can be said that SVM classification is more accurate than NVB
