In this paper we defend that the human being can know the truth and also the error because we have cognitive habits, which permits us to know the acts of knowledge. We attend also to the truth, error, acquisition, hierarchy, and perfection of the acquired habits. We defend that the acquired habits are known by the innate habit of the sintheresis
In this work we defend that the Dietrich von Freiberg’s philosophy is realistic in those areas: theory of knowledge, philosophy of the nature, metaphysics and anthropology. Esperanza personal versus identidad humana.
In this paper we justify that the actual conception of human "identity" is opposed to the human hope, because this concept is contradictory with the real distinction in the man between act of being and essence. We explain also that this identity is synonym of another expressions like “fin en sí”, “ser en sí”, “ser para sí”, “self-realization”, “fidelity to yourself”. At the end, we defend that it is convenient to link the philosophy with the personal hope, but not with the identity
In this work we study the suggestive position of some authors who constitute an exception in the history of the philosophy in respect to the interpretation of the agent intellect, the great Aristotle´s discovery: Francisco Canals, Leonardo Polo and his disciples, because these authors put the agent intellect at the level of “actus essendi hominis”.En este trabajo se estudia la sugerente posición de algunos pensadores que constituyen una excepción en la historia de la filosofía respecto de la interpretación del intelecto agente, el gran hallazgo aristotélico: Francisco Canals, Leonardo Polo y sus discípulos, pues lo emplazan a nivel de “actus essendi hominis”
The Root and The Cusp of Human Intellection: Agent Intellect. A Comparison Between Thomas Aquinas, ST. Bonaventura and Leonardo Polo
In this work we compare the version of Thomas Aquinas’ intellectus
agens as one active potency, with the Bonaventure’ opinion as one acquired
habit, and also with the Polo’s equivalence between the agent intellect with
the human act of being. We study the internal coherence of those thesis and itsimplications
The Natural Theology according to Leonardo Polo
Before addressing Polo’s notion of natural theology, the main
historical issues of the problem are reviewed according to his
philosophy. After that, God is addressed first as a subject of
metaphysics, to then continue with the study of the Divine Being
from the point of transcendental anthropology or intimacy.
Finally, we approach Polo´s method of the theory of knowledge
to access the intimacy.http://revistahumanidades.unab.cl/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/2.-SELLES1.pd
This article defends that the classical “filiatio” does not concern to the human “nature” or to human “essence”, but only to the human “act of being”. It sustains also that the “filiatio” is exclusively supernatural and it can be freely accepted by the human person. This acceptance has many implications for the real life, for example, in the family, friendship, education, work and others
The agent intellect according to Capreolus and Cajetan
In this work we study the version of the agent intellect according to two great commentators of Thomas Aquinas in the XVth
century: Capreolus and Cajetan. The first one defends that the agent
intellect is the same soul; the second one, that the agent intellect is
the same that his activity, an act previous to any other act, that always
acts.Fil: Sellés, Juan Fernando.
