Sustainable entrepreneurship has received substantial recognition from academics and practitioners in the last decade, with a noticeable and rapidly increases of publications on the topic. Through bibliometric techniques and tools, this study allows mapping the main academic literature on sustainable entrepreneurship and analyzes the most substantial contributions to the advances of research in this field. The chronological analysis of literature from the Web of Science-Social Sciences Citation Index (WoS-SSCI) database until January 2018 provides new insights not previously reviewed, such as the journals, authors and articles more influential so far. As a result, 282 articles were retrieved, which were published in 140 journals and written by 663 authors affiliated to 413 institutions, from 50 countries. The analysis allowed identifying publication evolution over time, and provides clues about the opportunities for future researc

    No full text

    No full text

Biopower and citizenship in Latin America. A reading from Foucault

    No full text
EN: In this article, an analysis of Foucault’s discourse is carried out to understand the formalization of certain devices that have founded a grammar of domination, expressed in the relationships between power over bodies (Biopower) and the exercise of citizenship. Although the purpose is eminently theoretical, it is intended to achieve a factual approach to the Latin American case, in the understanding that the democracies of the region are beloved daughters of modernity and, in addition, of government schemes that privilege the figure of the citizen as a political actor and historical subject. Methodologically, a critical-hermeneutical analysis is carried out, from which it is a matter of making domination strategies visible and interpreting in Foucault’s theory, the discursive establishment of a new societal order, based on the narrative that relates power and citizenship. Study allows us to conclude that Foucaultian theoretical categories reveal power as a set of relations, always in tension, that, in times of change, there is always room to build new rules and regimes of existence

Configurations of sustainable development goals that promote sustainable entrepreneurship over time

[EN] This paper examines sustainable entrepreneurship over time by focusing on the identification of the combinations of environmental factors (clean water and sanitation, affordable clean energy, urgent action to combat climate change, and life on land) and economic development factors (decent work and economic growth). Based on data from 50 countries, it examines the causal configurations behind the manifestations of these factors using fuzzy-set qualitative comparison analysis. The variables and data were derived from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor and the Sustainable Development Goals Index. Our key finding is that protecting and sustainably using terrestrial ecosystems always have a sufficiently positive effect to ensure a high level of sustainable entrepreneurship. Also, high levels of sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems and sustainable growth and decent work, plus good access to affordable and sustainable energy and clean water are related to promote sustainable entrepreneurship.Moya Clemente, I.; Ribes-Giner, G.; Pantoja-Diaz, O.
