Literary Techniques of Marquez’s Literary Discourse
The literary techniques of Gabriel Garcia Marquez’s novels deal with his literary devices and figurative language which he has applied in his novels. These devices basically serve as socio-symbolic mediations that relate the literary text to his culture. For this reason, Marquez has immensely applied the figurative elements in his novels, making a bridge between his works and the world to which he belongs. These elements can be thus interpreted by taking into consideration the cultural aspects of his society. Hence, this article surveys the figurative dimensions of his novels and the intention here is mainly to decode the figurative elements such as metaphor, metonymy, hyperbole and other symbolic components of his literary discourse
Theory of a Continuous H Normal-to-Superconducting Transition
I study the transition within the Ginzburg-Landau model, with
-component order parameter . I find a renormalized fixed point free
energy, exact in limit, suggestive of a nd-order
transition in contrast to a general belief of a st-order transition. The
thermal fluctuations for force one to consider an infinite set of
marginally relevant operators for . I find , predicting
that the ODLRO does not survive thermal fluctuations in . The result is
a solution to a critical fixed point that was found to be inaccessible within
-expansion, previously considered in E.Brezin, D.R.Nelson,
A.Thiaville, Phys.Rev.B {\bf 31}, 7124 (1985), and was interpreted as a
st-order transition.Comment: 4 pages, self-unpacking uuencoded compressed postscript file with a

Comment on `Strong Vortex Liquid Correlation' from Multiterminal Measurements on Untwinned YBaCuO Single Crystals'
A.Rydh and \"O.Rapp [Phys. Rev. Lett. {\bf 86}, 1873 (2001).] claim that the
vortex liquid in untwinned YBaCuO crystals is correlated
above the melting transition, in striking contrast to previous work [D.L\'opez
{\it et al.}, Phys. Rev. Lett. {\bf 76}, 4034 (1996).]. In this Comment we
present new measurements using the same experimental technique on twinned and
untwinned YBaCuO crystals with similar overall
characteristics as those reported by Rydh and Rapp . The comparison of the
vortex correlation response in both cases indicates that the central conclusion
of their work is not correct. Our results reconfirm the work by L\'opez {\it et
al.} and points on the origin of the misinterpretation in the work of Rydh and
Rapp.Comment: comment on A.Rydh and \"O.Rapp, Phys. Rev. Lett. {\bf 86}, 1873

Rheumatoid arthritis onset after COVID-19 infection: a case report
At the end of 2019, coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2). Worldwide researchers and physician try to explore the mechanisms of damage induced by virus, they focus on the short-term and long-term immune-mediated consequences induced by the virus infection. Every day discover a new pathological condition induced by virus and new symptoms and disease may occur after recovery from disease. Our case report is 41 years old, Indian lady who presented to our primary health care centre complaining of multiple small hand joints pain, both elbows and knees pain with swelling of them and prolonged morning stiffness, diagnosed seropositive rheumatoid arthritis (RA) (arthritis, positive rheumatoid factor (RF), and X-ray changes) after 1 month recovery from COVID-19 infection. She did not have any joint pain and she had negative RF before COVID-19 infection with no family history of RA
Molecular pathogenesis of sporadic prion diseases in man
The yeast, fungal and mammalian prions determine heritable and infectious traits that are encoded in alternative conformations of proteins. They cause lethal sporadic, familial and infectious neurodegenerative conditions in man, including Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), Gerstmann-Sträussler-Scheinker syndrome (GSS), kuru, sporadic fatal insomnia (SFI) and likely variable protease-sensitive prionopathy (VPSPr). The most prevalent of human prion diseases is sporadic (s)CJD. Recent advances in amplification and detection of prions led to considerable optimism that early and possibly preclinical diagnosis and therapy might become a reality. Although several drugs have already been tested in small numbers of sCJD patients, there is no clear evidence of any agent’s efficacy. Therefore, it remains crucial to determine the full spectrum of sCJD prion strains and the conformational features in the pathogenic human prion protein governing replication of sCJD prions. Research in this direction is essential for the rational development of diagnostic as well as therapeutic strategies. Moreover, there is growing recognition that fundamental processes involved in human prion propagation – intercellular induction of protein misfolding and seeded aggregation of misfolded host proteins – are of far wider significance. This insight leads to new avenues of research in the ever-widening spectrum of age-related human neurodegenerative diseases that are caused by protein misfolding and that pose a major challenge for healthcare
First order phase transition of the vortex lattice in twinned YBa2Cu3O7 single crystals in tilted magnetic fields
We present an exhaustive analysis of transport measurements performed in
twinned YBa2Cu3O7 single crystals which stablishes that the vortex solid-liquid
transition is first order when the magnetic field H is applied at an angle
theta away from the direction of the twin planes. We show that the resistive
transitions are hysteretic and the V-I curves are non-linear, displaying a
characteristic s-shape at the melting line Hm(T), which scales as
epsilon(theta)Hm(T,theta). These features are gradually lost when the critical
point H*(theta) is approached. Above H*(theta) the V-I characteristics show a
linear response in the experimentally accessible V-I window, and the transition
becomes reversible. Finally we show that the first order phase transition takes
place between a highly correlated vortex liquid in the field direction and a
solid state of unknown symmetry. As a consequence, the available data support
the scenario for a vortex-line melting rather than a vortex sublimation as
recently suggested [T.Sasagawa et al. PRL 80, 4297 (1998)].Comment: 10 pages, 8 figures, submitted to PR
Problematika Guru Dalam Menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka
This study aims to describe the teacher's problems in implementing the independent curriculum in schools. This study uses a literature review or literature review approach. The results of this study indicate that there are many problems that become obstacles for teachers in schools. In the independent learning curriculum, teachers are more required to be creative in making or designing the learning process so that learning goes according to what is determined by the Minister of Education. The results showed that: First, SMA Negeri 3 Sungai Full has implemented the Independent Learning Curriculum by implementing project-based learning, diagnostic, formative and summative assessments in learning. Second, the teacher's problems in implementing the Free Learning Curriculum in planning, implementing and evaluating learning are difficulties analyzing CP, formulating TP and compiling ATP and Teaching Modules, determining learning methods and strategies, lack of ability to use technology, lack of ability to use learning methods and media, materials teaching is too broad, determine the class project

Transverse and secondary voltages in BSCCO single crystals
Multicontact configuration is one of the most powerful arrangements for
electrical transport measurements applied to study vortex phase transition and
vortex phase dimensionality in strongly anisotropic high-Tc superconducting
materials. In this paper we present electrical transport measurements using a
multiterminal configuration, which prove both the existence of guided vortex
motion in BSCCO single crystals near the transition temperature and that
secondary voltage in zero external magnetic field is induced by thermally
activated vortex loop unbinding. The phase transition between the bound and
unbound states of the vortex loops was found to be below the temperature where
the phase coherence of the superconducting order parameter extends over the
whole volume of the sample. We show experimentally that 3D/2D phase transition
in vortex dimensionality is a length-scale-dependent layer decoupling process
and takes place simultaneously with the 3D/2D phase transition in
superconductivity at the same temperature.Comment: 8 pages, 5 figures, to be published in Physica
