Análise do impacto da implantação de sistemas ERP nas características organizacionais das empresas de construção civil

Uma das causas do insucesso do ERP nas empresas de construção civil é o fato da implantação desse sistema ser uma grande mudança organizacional. O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar como a implementação do sistema ERP impacta na organização e nos processos gerencias das empresas de construção civil. Foi realizada uma survey em uma amostra de empresas construtoras brasileiras. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um questionário encaminhado por email a dois grupos de empresas: com e sem ERP implantado. A partir da análise estatística discriminante foi possível identificar as variáveis relacionadas ao nível de desenvolvimento dos processos de gestão e as características organizacionais que mais distinguem os dois grupos de empresas. Os resultados revelaram que a implantação do ERP impacta nas variáveis da maturidade organizacional nos seguintes aspectos: visão estratégica, relacionamento com cliente, gerenciamento de recursos humanos, gestão financeira e de TI

Unsupervised Interpretable Pattern Discovery in Time Series Using Autoencoders

International audienceWe study the use of feed-forward convolutional neural networks for the unsupervised problem of mining recurrent temporal patterns mixed in multivariate time series. Traditional convolutional autoen-coders lack interpretability for two main reasons: the number of patterns corresponds to the manually-fixed number of convolution filters, and the patterns are often redundant and correlated. To recover clean patterns, we introduce different elements in the architecture, including an adap-tive rectified linear unit function that improves patterns interpretability, and a group-lasso regularizer that helps automatically finding the relevant number of patterns. We illustrate the necessity of these elements on synthetic data and real data in the context of activity mining in videos

Cartography I: Mapping narrative cartography

This report focuses on the growing interest in the relationship between maps, narratives and meta-narratives. Following a brief historical contextualization of these relationships, this report explores their current state in the Geoweb era. Using the distinction between story maps and grid maps as an analytical framework, I review emerging issues around the extensive use of technologies and online mapping services (i.e. Google maps) to convey stories and to produce new ones. Drawing on literature in film studies, literary studies, visual arts, computer science and communication I also emphasize the emergence of new forms of spatial expressions interested in providing different perspectives about places and about stories associated to places. In sum, I argue that mapping both vernacular knowledge and fiction is central understanding places in depth
