    Interior design of a home stay is expected usefully in an increasingly technological developments are manifold that one of them as the need for human civilization. Making interior design using 3ds Max 2009 software is also expected to facilitate the service users architects in building a dwelling house or other buildings. Our goal made final with the title " Interior Design Application Using 3DS Max At Home Mrs Retno Residence in Maguwoharjo, Sleman, Yogyakarta” is to help facilitate the service users to promote the architect that is focused in the field of interior design or interior design course. More and more variety of homes designed and built to be our motivation to take the title above.     Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji masalah-masalah mendasar sebagai berikut: Bagaimana aktifitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika pokok bahasan Elastisitas dan Gerak Harmonik Sederhana dengan menerapkan metode Discovery? dan Bagaimana ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Elastisitas dan Gerak Harmonik sederhana setelah diterapkan metode Discovery?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (a) untuk mengetahui aktifitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika pokok bahasan Elastisitas dan Gerak Harmonik Sederhana dengan menerapkan metode Discovery, dan (b) untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan Elastisitas dan Gerak Harmonik sederhana setelah diterapkan metode Discovery.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dalam pengumpulan data. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah (a) lembar observasi (pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa, pengamatan keterampilan afektif dan psikomotorik), dan (b) tes hasil belajar (THB) kognitif sebanyak 34 soal dari 50 soal yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, daya beda dan tingkat kesukarannya.Subyek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IA-4 SMAN-2 Palangka Raya yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Subyek diajarkan materi pokok Elastisitas dan Gerak Harmonik Sederhana dengan menerapkan metode Discovery. Subyek diberikan tes akhir pada akhir pembelajaran, untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada aspek kognitif.Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah sebagai berikut: 1a) Aktivitas guru dengan penerapan metode Discovery terlaksana sangat baik dengan rata-rata total skor 129,75, 1b) Aktivitas siswa terlaksana dengan kriteria sangat baik dengan rata-rata total skor 1654,25, dan 2) Siswa tuntas pada THB kognitif sebanyak 24 siswa (68,57%) dari 35 siswa, ketuntasan TPK sebesar 57,14% (tidak tuntas), ketuntasan hasil belajar afektif siswa sebesar 92,86% (tuntas), dan ketuntasan hasil belajar psikomotorik siswa sebesar 85% (tuntas)

    The Effect of Rainwater Quality on The Methane Concentration

    Research on the effect of pH of rainfall on the emission of methane (CH4) has been made. And what about the influence of the pH of rainfall at a concentration of CH4? That question will be answered through this research. The problem in this research is not yet known and the effect of the interaction of water quality in these clouds pH (degree of acidity) of rain on the concentration of CH4. The purpose of the study was the first object to determine acid rain in research location and to determine and analyze the influence of the pH of rainfall on the CH4 concentration. The research location is at Balai Pengamat Atmosfer dan Antariksa LAPAN in Kototabang hills, West Sumatra. The data used in this study is the pH of rainfall and CH4 concentrations. The analytical method used is the analysis of statistical and descriptive analysis. The results showed a correlation coefficient between the pH of rainfall with CH4 concentration of 0,87. The correlation coefficient indicates that the effect of the pH of rainfall is linearly proportional to the concentration of CH4. This means that the pH of rainfall is higher, then the CH4 concentration will increase.

    Pharmaceutical pollution of the world's rivers

    Environmental exposure to active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) can have negative effects on the health of ecosystems and humans. While numerous studies have monitored APIs in rivers, these employ different analytical methods, measure different APIs, and have ignored many of the countries of the world. This makes it difficult to quantify the scale of the problem from a global perspective. Furthermore, comparison of the existing data, generated for different studies/regions/continents, is challenging due to the vast differences between the analytical methodologies employed. Here, we present a global-scale study of API pollution in 258 of the world's rivers, representing the environmental influence of 471.4 million people across 137 geographic regions. Samples were obtained from 1,052 locations in 104 countries (representing all continents and 36 countries not previously studied for API contamination) and analyzed for 61 APIs. Highest cumulative API concentrations were observed in sub-Saharan Africa, south Asia, and South America. The most contaminated sites were in low- to middle-income countries and were associated with areas with poor wastewater and waste management infrastructure and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The most frequently detected APIs were carbamazepine, metformin, and caffeine (a compound also arising from lifestyle use), which were detected at over half of the sites monitored. Concentrations of at least one API at 25.7% of the sampling sites were greater than concentrations considered safe for aquatic organisms, or which are of concern in terms of selection for antimicrobial resistance. Therefore, pharmaceutical pollution poses a global threat to environmental and human health, as well as to delivery of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
