Hacia la interculturalidad desde la cultura de paz. Una perspectiva educativa

Las relaciones entre la Interculturalidad y la Cultura de Paz son evidentes ya desde su propia denominación: cualquier cultura está influida por las aportaciones de otra cultura y muchas de esas influencias se traducen, en ocasiones, en componentes interculturales factibles de ser compartidos por los grupos étnicos que entran en contacto y, en otros casos, en conflictos entre ellos. Sus implicaciones para la educación van desde la teoría y la política educativa a la propia práctica. Valores como la solidaridad y el respeto, temáticas como el rechazo y la prevención de la violencia, la resolución de conflictos, etc., comunes a ambos conceptos, contienen un alto potencial educativo que podemos aprovechar para favorecer una educación de auténtica calidad para todo tipo de alumnado

Culture of Peace and Musical Education in contexts of Cultural Diversity

La diversidad cultural existente en el mundo lleva consigo la necesidad de educar para la paz, trabajando los valores relacionados con la Cultura de Paz, como el respeto, la justicia, la igualdad, la tolerancia y la interculturalidad. El objetivo fundamental de nuestro trabajo es conocer y valorar cómo los centros educativos se convierten en los escenarios más idóneos para desarrollar esta educación. Para ello hemos realizado un estudio en un centro de Educación Infantil y Primaria de la Ciudad Autónoma de Melilla, el Colegio Velázquez, con el que pretendemos conocer la realidad que se vive en los centros escolares de la ciudad en lo relativo al fomento de la Interculturalidad y la Cultura de Paz entre los alumnos de diferentes colectivos. Hemos utilizado una metodología fundamentalmente cualitativa, que nos ha permitido formar un grupo de discusión con varias maestras de diferentes perfiles profesionales. Como resultado más relevante destaca que la música, a pesar de las restricciones horarias que la legislación educativa vigente tiene establecidas para esta materia, es uno de los recursos más adecuados para educar en valores y promover la Interculturalidad y la Cultura de Paz.The cultural diversity of the world needs to education for the peace, working the values related to the Culture of Peace, like the respect, the justice, the equality, the tolerance and the interculturality. The fundamental aim of our research is to know and to value how the educational centers turn into the most suitable scenes to develop the education. For it we have realized a study in a center of Infantile and Primary Education of the Autonomous City of Melilla, the College Velázquez, with which we try to know the reality that is lived in the school centers of the city in the relative to the promotion of the Interculturality and the Culture of Peace between the pupils of different groups. We have used a qualitative methodology, which has allowed us to form a group of discussion with several teachers of different professional profiles. As more relevant result stands out than the music, in spite of the hourly restrictions that the legislation has established for this matter, it is one of the best resources to educate in values and to promote the Interculturality and the Culture of Peace

ANÁLISIS DEL TRATAMIENTO EDUCATIVO DE LA CREATIVIDAD POR MEDIO DE LA MÚSICA EN AULAS DE EDUCACIÓN PRIMARIA CON AMPLIA DIVERSIDAD ÉTNICA Y CULTURAL

In the current world, the cultural diversity is a feature that it characterizes to all the societies; people of different cultures coexist in the same environment and geographical place, everyone with their customs and traditions. With this ethnic and cultural plurality, it is necessary to promote values as the respect and the tolerance, and we believe that the music and the musical creativity are for its characteristics important resources to obtain it. In this study we try to know the reality that is lived in the school centers of the Autonomous City of Melilla in the relative thing to the promotion of the Interculture between the pupils of different collectives. We analyze the educational treatment of the creativity through the music in classrooms of Primary Education with wide ethnic and cultural diversity. We have chosen the College of Pre-Primary and Primary Education "Velázquez" of Melilla and have created a Group of Discussion with four participants, teachers of the college. We have concluded that the music and the creativity promote the Interculture in the school centers and that his blockade directly impedes it. Therefore we defend the need of more real time destined for the knowledge and for the practice of the Musical Education to educate the pupils in values and to promote in the school centers the respect between similar though they belong to different cultural group

PERCEPCIÓN DE L A INTERCULTURAUDAD POR LOS ALUMNOS UNIVERSITARIOS. ANÁLISIS CONCEPTUAL Y TERMINOLÓGICO

Given the great terminological proliferation related with the cultural diversity, makes almost indispensable to stop to meditate on the meaning and the reach of many of the terms that we use, being claimed the necessity to carry out studies of this type, where he/she stands out its importance for the investigation and the fonnation in aspects related with the cultural diversity.The present study investigares the answ ers that the groups of universit y students carry out , trying t o relate each one of the terms presented w ith the cultural diversity, the interest that the concep ts and t he ideas implied in each term had for them, toget her w ith the interaction among the same ones and the proposal of new terms and concepts that consider that they were not present in the oliginal listing and that they should figure in him. The opp osing results allow to advance in the know ledge of which sorne of the invest igated population's concep tual and terminological connections they are, and in sorne proposals for the improvement of the perception and the know ledge that the university students have of the cultural diversity, as well as the handling of concepts and the use of the appropiate terminology of these multicultural contexts.Dada la gran proliferación terminológica relacionada con la diversidad cultural, hace casi imprescindible pararse a reflexionar sobre el significado y el alcance de muchos de los términos que utilizamos, reclamándose la necesidad de llevar a cabo estudios de este tipo, donde se destaque su importancia para la investigación y la formación en aspectos relacionados con la diversidad cultural. El presente estudio investiga las respuestas que los grupos de universitarios realizan tratando "de relacicmar cada uno de los términos presentados con la diversidad cultural, el interés que los conceptos y las ideas implicados en cada término tenían para ellos, junto con la interacción entre los mismos y la propuesta de nuevos términos y conceptos que consideren que no estaban presentes en el listado original y que deberían figurar en él. Los resultados encontrados permiten avanzar en el conocimiento de cuáles son algunas de las conexiones conceptuales y terminológicas de la población investigada y en algunas propuestas para la mejora de la percepción y el conocimiento que los estudiantes universitarios tengan de la diversidad cultural, así corno el manejo de conceptos y el uso de la terminología adecuada de estos contextos multiculturales
