Decoding gene expression signatures underlying vegetative to inflorescence meristem transition in the common bean
The tropical common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) is an obligatory short-day plant that requires relaxation of the photoperiod to induce flowering. Similar to other crops, photoperiod-induced floral initiation depends on the differentiation and maintenance of meristems. In this study, the global changes in transcript expression profiles were analyzed in two meristematic tissues corresponding to the vegetative and inflorescence meristems of two genotypes with different sensitivities to photoperiods. A total of 3396 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified, and 1271 and 1533 were found to be up-regulated and down-regulated, respectively, whereas 592 genes showed discordant expression patterns between both genotypes. Arabidopsis homologues of DEGs were identified, and most of them were not previously involved in Arabidopsis floral transition, suggesting an evolutionary divergence of the transcriptional regulatory networks of the flowering process of both species. However, some genes belonging to the photoperiod and flower development pathways with evolutionarily conserved transcriptional profiles have been found. In addition, the flower meristem identity genes APETALA1 and LEAFY, as well as CONSTANS-LIKE 5, were identified as markers to distinguish between the vegetative and reproductive stages. Our data also indicated that the down-regulation of the photoperiodic genes seems to be directly associated with promoting floral transition under inductive short-day lengths. These findings provide valuable insight into the molecular factors that underlie meristematic development and contribute to understanding the photoperiod adaptation in the common bean
A third edition with 16 tutorial lecturers and 20 tutorial students from five different degrees (Technical Engineering of the Polytechnical School, EPS, at University of Seville) in a Tutorial Plan development, has been prepared. During the present year, the main characteristic has been a serial of mentoring actions motivated and directed by these mentors. This activity has been organized considering several subgroups of mentoring depending on special characteristics in first year students (sportsplayers, workers, grant holders from other universities…), moreover the organization of a second recruiting of new students after the first term marks, updating meetings for mentors only, and to be main figures in a Congress on Mentoring at the end of the academic year

The main role of participants and support from research in the democratic adult education movement
Today s society requires social and educational practices with which to deepen in democracy and including, in an egalitarian level, all the people who traditionally has been invisibleised. The Movement for adult democratic education was born in Spain in 2000, and it is, first of all, a movement of participant people, which has the support from practitioners and university lecturers. This article presents the foundation andunique characteristics of this movement of participants, and analyses the role developed particularly by Group 90: University and Adult education, which was presided by Florentino Sanz over the past years. In conclusion, this role may be of reference for other fields of educational and social research
In the present research the financial strategies and the patrimonial increases of the savings and credit cooperatives of segment two of the Canton Ambato are analyzed, for which it was decided to study the financial strategies that obtained the greatest impact in the increase of the patrimony, financial indicators were applied to determine if the equity increased during the year 2015. This problem is affected in the profitability of cooperatives, thus reducing their competitiveness and ability to stay in the cooperative market. One of the most important indicators is the patrimonial sufficiency that relates the technical patrimony constituted and the assets and contingents weighted by risk, in which the law requires a minimum of 9% of this indicator to be maintained to support the institution's current and future operations. It was also analyzed whether the cooperatives comply with the regulations established by the Monetary and Financial Organic Code and the Law of Popular and Solidarity Economy for the strengthening of patrimony, utilities and irreparable legal reserve fund. We conclude that financial strategies have a significant impact on the assets of cooperatives, and propose an operational model for the financial strategies and the increment of the patrimony that will allow to fulfill all the objectives established by each cooperative entity.

MALDI-TOF Analysis of the Secondary Processes Occurring During the Ring Opening Polymerization of Caprolactone Initiated by HEMA
12 páginas.Short 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate (HEMA)-oligocaprolactone macromonomers were synthesized at different temperatures from 100° to 190°C by bulk ring opening polymerization using HEMA as initiator and stannous octoate as catalyst. The crude products were analysed by MALDI-TOF and NMR and the influence of the temperature on the reaction was studied. In addition to transesterification (found at temperatures of 130°C and higher), other secondary reactions involving HEMA breakdown were also identified at these temperatures. In these processes, difunctional acrylic compounds may be formed.Peer reviewe
