Adecuación extensión-intensional en la temporalización de la novela personal o memorias ficticias. Análisis sintáctico-intensional de «Brideshead Revisited,» de Evelyn Waugh

El propósito de este estudio es determinar el éxito comunicativo de una obra literaria en tanto que la ordenación temporal de los elementos temáticos sea adecuada a la realización textual artística y encuentre así al cauce ideal de expresión. Mediante el análisis sintáctico intensional de la novela personal Brideshead Revisited, de Evelyn Waugh, en el que se atiende a la relación del narrador homodiegético con la distorsión temporal cronológica de la fábula presente en el discurso, se concluye que dichas alteraciones juegan a favor de la mejor recepción de la obra como memorias ficticias, y facilitan, en este caso, la adecuación de res a verba, lo que depara en una mejor accesibilidad para el lector, por su mayor verosimilitud, coherencia y significación, consiguiendo así la felicidad comunicativa

La inverosimilitud de un mundo posible sin amor. «El cuento de la criada», de Margaret Atwood.

Resumen: Los mundos posibles distópicos se caracterizan por la ausencia casi absoluta de componentes ficcionales relacionados con el amor, lo que los convierte en intransitables e inhabitables. El mundo posible de El cuento de la criada, de Margaret Atwood carece aparentemente de la estructura social del amor. Este hecho convertiría el orden general de dicho mundo en inverosímil ya que no representa las estructuras sociales que conforman el mundo real efectivo. El artículo pretende demostrar mediante el análisis de la microestructura que, aunque ocultas, las alusiones al amor están presentes en este mundo distópico, lo que lo convierte en inteligible y significativo.

Presence of Ethical, Aesthetic and Religious Keys in the Creation of Possible Literary Worlds

Literary works have structures that articulate the possible worlds represented in them using ethical, aesthetic, and religious keys -mimeses of these structures in the real effective world- so that the greater or lesser presence of these keys determines whether the work is coherent, plausible, and meaningful for the reader. Literary theories have omitted the study of this section of reality present in the structure of the works and, therefore, in this article we intend to systematise and describe, using the semantic theory of possible worlds, the functioning of these structures in the processes of representation, creation, and reception of a work of fiction. We also provide a proposal for a model of analysis that ratifies the presence of these articulating structures of the fictional world and regulators of the interactions of the possible characters among themselves, with the world they inhabit and with transcendence. With this research we want to confirm the need to include ethical, aesthetic and religious structures within the theory of literature and to offer a rich and fruitful model of analysis

Identification of DNA from Antirrhinum linkianum introgressed in A. majus with common molecular markers

[SPA] El género Antirrhinum se ha usado ampliamente en genómica comparativa. Actualmente, trabajamos en una Línea Recombinante Consanguínea (LRC) entre la conocida A. majus y A. linkianum. Por otra parte, contamos con una serie de marcadores que fueron desarrollados para identificar distintos loci de ambos parentales. Aquí mostramos una aplicación de éste conocimiento en nuestro trabajo diario. [ENG] The genre Antirrhinum has been widely used for comparative genomics. Currently, we are working on a Recombinant Inbred Line (RIL) between the well known A. majus and A. linkianum. On the other hand we count with a series of markers that were developed for identifying different loci from both parents. Understanding genetic mechanisms underpinning volatile emission

[SPA] A partir de un cruce realizado entre A. majus y A. linkianum, obtuvimos una población F2 segregante de 110 plantas. Analizamos la emisión de aromas en esta población. Nos centramos en cuatro de los principales volátiles presentes en la población: acetofenona, metil benzoato, metil cinamato y ocimeno. Analizamos las posibles segregaciones mendelianas de estos volátiles en la población, encontrando que todos ellos pueden ser el resultado de la segregación de uno o dos genes. A pesar de ser el producto de rutas metabólicas muy complejas, la emisión de estos volátiles es el resultado de interacciones simples o epistáticas. Este enfoque básico es una herramienta útil para futuros estudios moleculares. [ENG] From a cross performed between A. majus and A. linkianum, we obtained a F2 segregating population of 110 plants. We analyzed the scent emission of this population. We focused on four of the main volatiles present in the population: acetophenone, methyl benzoate, methyl cinnamate and β-ocimene. We analysed the possible mendelian segregations of these volatiles within the population, finding that all of these volatiles might be result of the segregation of one or two genes. Despite of being products of very complex metabolic pathways, the emission of these volatiles is result of simple or epistatic interactions.
