contemporáneo de los clásicos de la novela-ríoIn these times of critical and commercial consecration of the television series format, it is a truism to state that, if they were alive, great writers and playwrights, from Shakespeare until now, will make an effort to write scripts for the old idiot box, now so savvy. By definition, alternate histories are irrefutable, so, for once, we will gladly let us fall by the risky slope of boutade, and we will qualify Lost, a series with a profuse and confused plot, produced by the imagination of some of the more privileged brains that work today in the entertainment industry, as the contemporary equivalent of the classic saga
Pionerismo relativo y autoría compartida. Mito contra Historia del cine español
The modern historiography of the Spanish movies has tended to divide into lots, in terms of methodological and ideological options. In like manner, anti-empiricist and anti-positivist slogans have had perverse effects for an authentic knowledge of the vicissitude of our cinematography, in particular for its industry and the paper of the subjects in the evolution of the same. The present work aspires to arbitrate this debate, and to contribute a proposal of encounter, reasoned, critical, constructive and concrete. Three Spanish classical films – namely: Goyescas (Benito Perojo, 1942), La calle sin sol (Rafael Gil, 1948) and Los peces rojos (José Antonio Nieves Conde, 1955)– are used to contribute, respectively, data about the genesis of the first; the second’s technical new thing; and the authorship of the third one. With these three examples, the author indicates which is the nature of the historiographical lagoons that are, to his judgment, more urgent; reorganizes priorities; arguments the strategies that may be considered best-suited to cover those holes; and illustrates the performance that can be obtained of a well-balanced and not excluding use of the techniques and the traditional and contemporaries technologies, for a most systematic understanding of the object of study.

FOOD MATTERS. NUTRITION AND IDEOLOGY IN CONTEMPORARY CINEMA
dei numeri primi, Saverio Costanzo, 2010), las suecas Déjame entrar (Låt den rätte komma in, Tomas
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, David
Fincher, 2011), para ilustrar las tendencias más significativas. In accordance with a widespread preoccupation in occidental societies, contemporary cinema reflects,
through food, existing ideological and practical conflicts, lifestyles linked to certain traditions, and the
values of modern society. As a representational machine aware of its symbolic influence, the big screen
exposes this axiological, political and identificatory tension. Central to this debate is the definition of
generic categories. To illustrate the most significant tendencies, the current paper reflects on various
examples of world cinema: The Skin I Live In (La piel que habito, Pedro Almodóvar, 2011); The Solitude of Prime Numbers (La solitudie dei numeri primi, Saverio Costanzo, 2010); Let Me In (Lat den rätte
komma in, Tomas Alfredson, 2008) and Millenium 1 (Män som hatar kvinnor, Niels Arden Oplev,
2009), and their American remakes, respectively titled Let Me In (Matt Reeves, 2010) and The Girl With
the Dragon Tattoo (David Fincher, 2011
