Las rebeldes y fracturadas potencias occidentales

Western countries have traditionally managed and imposed their model, values and interests to the rest of the international community (they are used to calling and representing themselves as the international community as a whole). They usually are the privileged of the system, well adapted and confident. The international liberal order is institutionalized in a series of organisms, most of them born in the postwar period and enlarged and fortified after the cold war. Regional alliances like NATO and universal economic intergovernmental organizations like the International Monetary Fund are victorious and embody the western establishment. However, last years are characterized by the decay and crisis of the political values defended by Europe and the USA.Los países occidentales han gestionado e impuesto tradicionalmente su modelo, valores e intereses para el resto de la comunidad internacional (se utilizan a llamarse y representarse a sí mismos como la comunidad internacional como un en su totalidad). Suelen ser los privilegiados del sistema, bien adaptados y seguros de sí mismos. El orden liberal internacional está institucionalizado en una serie de organismos, la mayoría de ellos nacidos en la posguerra y ampliados y fortificados después de la guerra fría. Alianzas regionales como la OTAN y las alianzas económicas universales las organizaciones intergubernamentales como el Fondo Monetario Internacional son victorioso y encarnar el establecimiento occidental. La investigación en derecho internacional público

El trabajo consta de dos partes, entrelazadas. En primer lugar, se analiza el fenómeno jurídico en Derecho internacional. Este ordenamiento jurídico ha estado sometido tradicionalmente a dudas, incertidumbres y escepticismo; todo derivado de su carácter consensualista y no impositivo, y de la primacía de la soberanía estatal. Actualmente, vivimos una etapa post-ontológica, en que el Derecho internacional resulta patente, cada vez más revalorizado en tiempos de globalización y más necesario, pues sólo en el ámbito internacional o supranacional se pueden resolver los grandes desafíos de nuestra época.             En la segunda parte, se analiza propiamente la investigación científica en esta disciplina. Esta investigación consta de dos vertientes que deben distinguirse, pero al mismo tiempo relacionarse: el conocimiento de la materia (función cognoscitiva) y la valoración sobre ella (función valorativa).   PALABRAS CLAVE: Derecho internacional, Investigación, Método jurídico       ABSTRACT   The study encompasses two subjects, interdependent. First of all, it is analysed International Law as legal phenomenon. This legal order has been subjected traditionally to doubts, hesitations and scepticism; all derived from its consensual character and from the primacy of the sovereignty and domestic system of the States. Nowadays, we live in a post-ontological period, where existence of International Law is certain and it is more and more acknowledged and necessary for only in the international field it is possible to solve the main challenges on our times. In second part, it is analysed properly the scientific research in this area. Los acuerdos internacionales de la Comunidad Europea: un panorama

Ponencia recogida en las actas de los Cursos de Derecho Internacional y Relaciones Internacionales de Vitoria-Gasteiz organizados por la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad del País Vasco.Se da una visión de los acuerdos internacionales en el marco exterior de los pilares segundo y tercero, también de los acuerdos internacionales de y entre los distintos Estados miembros, y de aspectos como el de la subjetividad internacional de las Comunidades Europeas, y los actos autónomos exteriores. Physiological Responses of Tomato and Cucumber Seedlings under Different Light–Dark Cycles

Tomato and cucumber seedlings were grown in a growth chamber to evaluate the effects of different cycles of light–dark exposure conditions (T0 (control treatment) (1 cycle of 24 h distributed in 18 h of light exposure and six hours of dark), T1 (two cycles of 12 h distributed in nine hours of light exposure and three hours of dark) and T2 (three cycles of eight hours distributed in six hours of light exposure and two hours of dark) on growth, nutrient status, pigment concentration and physiological changes. Total dry weight showed different behaviors in both species, since in tomato the total dry weight remained unchanged under varying light–dark cycles, whereas in cucumber seedlings there was a clear decrease compared to the control treatment. In both species, plants grown under T2 showed the best water content. Nitrogen, P and K content—as well as partitioning in the different organs of the plants—displayed different patterns under varying cycles of light–dark conditions in both species. Chlorophyll (b and a + b) concentration decreased significantly in both species in T1 and T2 compared to the control treatment (T0).
