Timely and quality data about environment and space is nowadays necessary support when deciding on interventions and environmental monitoring and rapid response to natural disasters. Slovenia is through European projects and membership in different organizations, which are focused on global and rational data collection, and their widespread use, successfully integrated into the European Earth observation activities. This research has been made for competition announced in the framework of the Observe project -"Strengthening and Development of Earth Observation Activities for the Environment of Balkan Area". Purpose of the project was to demonstrate how to use spatial data from Earth observation in other sciences and in this way to extend their usefulness and to indicate the benefits that our society may have of them. In this study we used data from Project Promote (forecasts of ozone, nitrogen dioxide and particulate matter PM10 concentration in the air) and in-situ measurements of the Slovenian Environment Agency (ARSO). The area used in this research is the broader region of Ljubljana, Slovenia. In the first part of the study we are using in-situ measurements to evaluate Promote forecasts. In the second part we tested the following hypothesis on Promote data: "With increasing quantity of precipitation, PM10 mass concentration decreases." The comparison between PROMOTE forecasts and in-situ mass concentrations from ARSO showed some weaknesses of the PROMOTE data. Our hypothesis has been confirmed with less than 2.7 % risk

This paper considers the problem of the robot motion control in the presence of the major uncertainties such as it is varying load. Efficiency of one conventional and two soft computing model based control algorithms is investigated and compared trough the results of application on a direct drive robot. First control algorithm is a conventional computed torque based on the Lagrangian dynamic equations. Second method is a computed torque alike control with an adaptive fuzzy logic system that replaces Lagrangian model, and third is a continuous sliding mode control with an artificial neural network instead of the dynamic model. Both soft computing methods give excellent results, while inefficiency of the computed torque control confirms the disadvantages of the conventional model based motion control approaches.U članku se obrađuje problem upravljanja gibanjem robota uz djelovanje velikih neodređenosti kao što je promjenljivost tereta.

Content Management Systems (CMS) are often used for website development. Websites are targets of various malicious attackers, and therefore it is necessary to be familiar with the security level of websites. The paper describes some basic features of the well-known open source CMS platforms: WordPress, Joomla and Drupal. It also explains the ten most common web vulnerabilities. Web vulnerability testing has been carried out by means of various software tools. The basic installations of the CMS systems have been tested. After having tested each web vulnerability, a possible additional web security measurement for each CMS is indicated. The web vulnerabilities which cannot be directly affected by the CMS security settings have been explained. It has been shown that the basic installations of the CMSs fail to ensure safety requirements due to irresistance to some threats. Necessary software tools for the tested CMSs have been specified in order to ensure the resistance to threats which have not been provided in the basic installation of the tested CMSs. A questionnaire has been developed for the purpose of examining the security level on the websites of business entities in Croatia, and a survey has been conducted in Croatian business entities engaged in computer science, accounting and industry.

Usporedimo li staništa, sastojine hrasta na Medvednici stvaraju bolje uvjete za populaciju jelenka, te smo na tim lokalitetima zabilježili 185 jedinki od ukupno zabilježenih 313.Association Epimedio Carpinetum betuli /Ht.1938/Borh 1963 grows in the colline belt of the Northern Croatia, at an elevation between 150 and 400 m. Mixed stands of sessile oak and common hornbeam, as well as the species Lucanus cervus (Linnaeus, 1758) belong to the NATURA 2000 ecological network for the conservation of endangered species and habitats of the European Union. Stag beetle is a saproxylic species which in its life cycle is dependent on dead wood materials that are part of the natural forest habitat, which are missing in the forests of intensive management. Our aim was to compare different stag beetle habitats and determine the best method for estimating the occurence of stag beetle, and thus assessment of forests as suitable habitats. We used three methods: transect method, traps with attractant and night examination of tree trunks. We have collected the largest number of individuals (90.1% of the total number of registered individuals) with transect method. If we compare the habitats, Medvednica provides better conditions for the stag beetle population. On these sites we recorded 185 individuals from 313 total recorded individuals

For a long time, the developed world no longer regards waste as a substance that is useless and should\ud be discarded. Thus, rules, regulations and directives are issued which require for the landfill manager\ud to treat waste before its disposal and to obtain as much substance from it which can later be reused.\ud In recent year, the world has seen different ways of processing waste. One of them is a mechanical\ud biological treatment. In the past, it served mainly to prepare waste for disposal and to reduce its weight\ud and volume, but has been in the recent years increasingly focused on the treatment of secondary fuels\ud and other secondary raw materials that can be reused.\ud The aim of my diploma thesis is to introduce and optimize the technology of mechanical treatment in\ud CERO Ajdovščina where a new hall for mechanical treatment will be built.\ud The theoretical part presents the legislation on waste and the process of mechanical biological\ud treatment. The practical part presents the state of the landfill, the type of technology for mechanical\ud treatment in CERO Ajdovščina and its optimization
