477-484The Arecaceae family includes palm trees of economic importance both as a source of agricultural produce and as ornamental components in landscaping projects. Pygmy date palm (Phoenix roebelenii) and solitary fishtail palm (Caryota urens) are well known landscaping plants today. Both species have their origin in Southeast Asia and, especially C. urens is widespread in peninsular India and Sri Lanka. They are multipurpose species with a variety of applications and thus very heavily utilized. Knowledge of palm seed storage biology will improve their conservation prospects. In present studies, fresh seed moisture content in P. roebelenii was recorded to be 30% with germinability of 98%. After desiccation to 8% moisture germinability was reduced to 90% and the seeds survived cryo-exposure. Fresh seeds of C. urens, with initial moisture content of 34% and 95% germinability could be desiccated to lowest level of only 29% moisture content, with complete loss of germinability. Fresh as well as desiccated seeds of this species did not survive cryo-exposure. While the seeds of C. urens stored at room temperature lost their germinability by 110 days, seeds of P. roebelenii could germinate even after 9 months of storage. P. roebelenii is proven to exhibit orthodox seed storage behaviour while C. urens is found to exhibit recalcitrant seed storage behaviour. Long-term ex situ cryo-conservation in the form of seed gene banks would be suitable for seed propagated orthodox palm species and a few germplasm centres may be established for recalcitrant Indian palms in suitable bio-geographic regions as a complimentary ex situ conservation

Now, recent trends are opening up to the era of Internet of Things (IoT), which is the communication between Internet and the devices. This is one of the rising advancements, from the point of view of shrewd advances, which is dependably been normal by the approaching age. This system centers on a security framework that is structured exclusively to effectively provide security to ladies with the goal that they never feel powerless while confronting such social difficulties. The framework comprises of different modules, for example, Indication, Emergency, Medic care, Dietary. All these modules have different function which will help women to be felt safe and secure in our country. In case of Emergency, alert will send to the contacts added in the list through mobile application with the GPS location. After every two minutes the location will send to the respective contacts and the nearby police station. And for pregnancy women, if they have any false pain during the time of pregnancy the alert will send to their contacts, doctor and an ambulance. Also the dietary chart is available for pregnancy women so that they can take care of their health. In dietary chart the details of food that is what food they have to take and in what time is displayed as notification. If user has taken that food displayed as the notification, the user can tick the checkbox shown in the mobile. At last the report of their daily details of food is display at the day end. So this band will be very useful for women to be safe and secure

Recommender system provides the significant suggestion towards the effective service offers for the vast range of big data. The Internet of Things (IoT) environment exhibits the value added application services to the customer with the provision of the effective collection and processing of information. In the extension of the IoT, Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) is evolved for the patient healthcare monitoring and processing. The data collected from the IoMT are stored and processed with the cognitive system for the data transmission between the users. However, in the conventional system subjected to challenges of processing big data while transmission with the cognitive radio network. In this paper, developed a effective cognitive 5G communication model with the recommender model for the IoMT big data processing. The proposed model is termed as Ranking Strategy Internet of Medical Things (RSIoMT). The proposed RSIoMT model uses the distance vector estimation between the feature variables with the ranking. The proposed RSIoMT model perform the recommender model with the ranking those are matches with the communication devices for improved wireless communication quality. The proposed system recommender model uses the estimation of direct communication link between the IoMT variables in the cognitive radio system. The proposed RSIoMT model evaluates the collected IoMT model data with the consideration of the four different healthcare datasets for the data transmission through cognitive radio network. Through the developed model the performance of the system is evaluated based on the deep learning model with the consideration of the collaborative features. The simulation analysis is comparatively examined based on the consideration of the wireless performance. Simulation analysis expressed that the proposed RSIoMT model exhibits the superior performance than the conventional classifier. The comparative analysis expressed that the proposed mode exhibits ~3 – 4% performance improvement over the conventional classifiers. The accuracy of the  developed model achieves 99% which is ~3 – 9% higher than the conventional classifier. In terms of the channel performance, the proposed RSIoMT model exhibits the reduced recommender relay selection count of 1 while the other technique achieves the relay value of 13 which implies that proposed model performance is ~4-6% higher than the other techniques

Targeted Inactivation of Cerberus Like-2 Leads to Left Ventricular Cardiac Hyperplasia and Systolic Dysfunction in the Mouse

Previous analysis of the Cerberus like 2 knockout (Cerl2(-/-)) mouse revealed a significant mortality during the first day after birth, mostly due to cardiac defects apparently associated with randomization of the left-right axis. We have however, identified Cerl2-associated cardiac defects, particularly a large increase in the left ventricular myocardial wall in neonates that cannot be explained by laterality abnormalities. Therefore, in order to access the endogenous role of Cerl2 in cardiogenesis, we analyzed the embryonic and neonatal hearts of Cerl2 null mutants that did not display a laterality phenotype. Neonatal mutants obtained from the compound mouse line Cer2(-/-)Fundacao para a Ciencia e Tecnologia (FCT); IBB/CBME [PEst-OE/EQB/LA0023/2011]; FCT [SFRH/BD/62081/2009]info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
