Planteamiento metodológico para lograr la eficiencia hídrica sustentable. Estudio de caso: unidad habitacional Tepic, Nayarit

El presente trabajo consiste en un estudio acerca de la problemática que enfrentan los conjuntos habitacionales en Tepic Nayarit, para abastecer la creciente demanda de la población. Se parte de cuatro aspectos fundamentales que un sistema de agua potable debe cumplir, de acuerdo a la Comisión Nacional del Agua. Referido a un estudio de caso, en donde se hizo un análisis del contexto en relación con el suministro y presión del agua, análisis del usuario en relación con el consumo de agua, que incluye un monitoreo de gasto actual y otro con dispositivos ahorradores. Al final se establecen escenarios para mejorar el abastecimiento continuo de agua, y para conocer el efecto que tiene la implementación de dispositivos ahorradores. La eficiencia hídrica promovida en estas viviendas ayudará a garantizar el abastecimiento continuo, promover el uso adecuado y consiente del agua, fomentar hábitos de consumo responsable y ayudar a preservar los mantos acuíferos de la ciudad.ITESO, A.C

The Frobenius number in the set of numerical semigroups with fixed multiplicity and genus

Phylogenetic Analysis of ORF Viruses From Five Contagious Ecthyma Outbreaks in Argentinian Goats

Orf virus (ORFV) is the etiological agent of Contagious Ecthyma (CE) disease that mainly affects sheep, goats, wild ruminants, and humans with a worldwide distribution. To date, only two strains from Argentinian sheep have been characterized at the molecular level and there is little information on ORFV strains circulating in Argentina. Here we describe and analyze five outbreaks of CE in goats in three geographic regions of the country: Northwest, Center, and Southwest. The phylogenetic analysis based on four molecular markers of ORFV (orf011 partial sequence and orf020, orf109, and orf127 complete sequence genes) revealed that there are different strains circulating in Argentina and pointed out the importance of knowing the health status of animals traded between farms

La excavación del conjunto megalítico de la Peña Oviedo, pretende ser el inicio de un estudio más amplio que aborde de manera global el fenómeno megalítico en las cue.ncas altas de los ríos Deva y Nansa. El total desconocimiento que se tenía hasta esta década, no ya del fenómeno megalítico, sino incluso de su existencia en estos valles montañosos del Occidente de Cantabria hace necesario un estudio que ponga de manifiesto sus características y las relaciones con las áreas vecinas.The excavation of the megalithic complex of the Peña Oviedo, pretends to be the beginning of a larger study that approaches the megalithic phenomenon in the global River basins of the Deva and Nansa rivers. The total lack of knowledge of the megalithic phenomenon, but not even of its existence in these mountain valleys of western Cantabria, requires a study that reveals its characteristics and relations with neighboring areas

La agricultura familiar relacionado con los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible uno y dos en los distritos de Rupa Rupa y Castillo Grande, región Huánuco

El objetivo de la investigacion fue evaluar la relación del aporte de la agricultura familiar para el cumplimiento de los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible uno y dos al 2030, asimismo caracterizar y tipificar la agricultura familiar en los distritos de Rupa Rupa y Castillo Grande, región Huánuco. Se trabajó con una muestra de 60 fundos familiares con un nivel de investigación descriptivo y tipo cualitativo-explicativo. Se utilizó el modelo estadístico que corresponde a un diseño completamente al azar, asimismo la prueba de media DGC para determinar diferencias significativas entre los tipos de sistemas. Los resultados mostraron que la agricultura familiar aporta al cumplimiento de los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible uno y dos al 2030 en los distritos de Rupa Rupa y Castillo Grande, debido a que son sistemas integrales de producción, tipificado como un agroecosistema biodiverso, constituida por componentes agrícola, forestal y pecuario, y el funcionamiento de este sistema, está instalado en un área de terreno cuya superficie trabajada en promedio va de 1 a 5 ha y son de manejo familiar, dando soporte a la disminución de la pobreza, y el hambre con una mejor nutrición y promoción de una agricultura con un enfoque agroecológico. Estos sistemas se diferenciaron en tres conglomerados, el primero agrupó al 41.67%, el segundo al 38.83% y el tercero al 20% del total de fundos evaluados, sobresaliendo el conglomerado 1, seguido del 2 y finalmente el tercero, con diferencias estadísticas entre ellos

Evaluación de desempeño de una prueba serológica de enzimo-inmunoensayo de competición en cabras vacunadas con <i>Brucella melitensis</i> Rev-1 en Empedrado, Corrientes

La brucelosis caprina es una enfermedad infecto-contagiosa crónica, producida por Brucella melitensis, que afecta principalmente a ovinos y caprinos. Está demostrado que la vacuna B. melitensis Rev-1 otorga buena inmunidad, pero interfiere con la serología generando problemas con el diagnóstico. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue evaluar un ELISA de competición (ELISAc), analizando los títulos de anticuerpos en caprinos vacunados con Rev-1. El ensayo se realizó durante un año, con 58 animales de entre 3 y 6 meses de edad divididos en tres grupos (G): G1 vacunado por vía conjuntival, G2 vacunado por vía subcutánea y G3 testigo. Se administró una dosis de 1x109 UFC de la vacuna OCUREV®. Se extrajo sangre los días 0, 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56, 63, 75, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240, 270, 300, 330 y 365 posvacunación. P2X7 receptor is essential for cross-dressing of bone marrow-derived dendritic cells

T cell activation requires the processing and presentation of antigenic peptides in the context of a major histocompatibility complex (MHC complex). Cross-dressing is a non-conventional antigen presentation mechanism, involving the transfer of preformed peptide/MHC complexes from whole cells, such as apoptotic cells (ACs) to the cell membrane of professional antigen-presenting cells (APCs), such as dendritic cells (DCs). This is an essential mechanism for the induction of immune response against viral antigens, tumors, and graft rejection, which until now has not been clarified. Here we show for first time that the P2X7 receptor (P2X7R) is crucial to induce cross-dressing between ACs and Bone-Marrow DCs (BMDCs). In controlled ex vivo assays, we found that the P2X7R in both ACs and BMDCs is required to induce membrane and fully functional peptide/MHC complex transfer to BMDCs. These findings show that acquisition of ACs-derived preformed antigen/MHC-I complexes by BMDCs requires P2X7R expression.Fil: Barrera Avalos, Carlos. Economic Multi-Objective Dynamic Optimization (EMODO) as a Decision-Making tool in Biomethanation Process

In biological methanation, the methane produced by anaerobic digestion (AD) is upgraded with the addition of syngas. The successful implementation of biomethanation requires the optimization of the production to be competitive in economic terms against chemical processes. Optimization is an arduous task, especially when it is desired to optimize multiple objectives that can be conflicting, such as yields, productivities, process times, and profit gains, among others. This work aims to implement an Economic Multi-Objective Dynamic Optimization (EMODO) approach as a decision-making tool for adequately operating the biomethanation process. The proposed EMODO strategy was based on a previously developed dynamic model for biomethanation. This strategy effectively optimized the ???????? and the ???????????? ???????????? by manipulating the inlet flow rates of gas ( ?? ?????? ???? ) and liquid ( ?? ?????? ???? ). The strategy also highlights the conflicting behavior of economic objectives and the dependence on substrates. The dynamic optimization improves the response time of the model smoothing the transitions between stages and achieving well adaptation to disturbances regarding the cost of the substrates and the selling prices of the products
