Notas a un opúsculo inédito de Bartolomé José Gallardo: "El desengaño anticipado"

El “Desengaño anticipado a la historia de la literatura española de Bouterweck” era uno de los textos críticos del gran bibliófilo extremeño Bartolomé José Gallardo que nunca llegó a publicarse y que hasta hoy se encontraba perdido. El hallazgo del texto nos ha permitido, por un lado, desentrañar las razones por las que la censura impidió que el texto viera la luz, y por otro, analizar a la luz de la crítica, los elementos que estructuran este opúsculo satírico y que lo dotan de cohesión: la crítica hacia las modas francesas, tan importantes en la España del momento, la referencia continua a los elementos librescos y eruditos que Gallardo manejaba con una enorme solvencia, y el uso continuo del lenguaje popular, “castizo” y enriquecedor, que le sirvió de cauce comunicativo para acercarse a su público lector.The critical text entitled “Desengaño anticipado a la historia de la literatura española de Bouterweck”, written by the great Extremaduran bibliographer Bartolomé José Gallardo was never published and it had in fact been lost up until now. The finding of the text has allowed us, on the one hand, to unravel the reasons why censorship has prevented the text from being brougth out and, on the other hand to analyse, in the light of criticism, the elements that form the structure of this satirical brief treatise and make the text cohesive: the criticism towards the French trends that were so important at that moment in Spain, the continous reference to learned elements that Gallardo used with a great reliability, and the constant use of a popular and enriching language, so “castizo” (very pure Spanish) that he used it as a comunicative channel to get closer to the audience and readers.peerReviewe

Efficient querying of Linked Data by distributing workload

Online data is presented in different ways and in various forms which are not mutually compatible. This problem is also present in Web APIs, because we usually have to implement a specialised client, suited for the kind of data the Web service is providing. This problem is solved with Linked Data. The problem with Linked Data is the query performance and the availability of remote SPARQL endpoints. With Triple Pattern Fragments we can execute SPARQL queries by transferring some workload to the client, but in contrast we have to transfer more data. The existing AMF extension reduces the amount of HTTP requests and consequently the amount of transferred data on some queries, while increasing the amount of transferred data with others. In this thesis we present our extension, where we try to lower the amount of HTTP requests and the amount of transferred data by extending the metadata with a Bloom filter, containing data, linked with triples on the current page of the Triple Pattern Fragment. We have compared our extension with the AMF extension and achieved encouraging results. We have also proposed a fix for the AMF extension, which is already included in the official repository. Finally, we have developed a simple graphical user interface that enables composition of SPARQL queries and their execution using our extension

Influencia de la variación de las propiedades del árido reciclado en el hormigón endurecido

El objetivo de este estudio es analizar la influencia de la variación de las propiedades del árido reciclado en el hormigón endurecido, tanto a nivel de resistencias como de permeabilidad. Se fabricaron hormigones con 25%, 50% y 100% de áridos grueso reciclados y comparan los resultados obtenidos con los del hormigón convencional. Se determinaran las permeabilidades de todos los hormigones fabricados para poder definir el proceso más eficaz en esta propiedad del hormigón
