    Get PDF
This study demonstrates that the advancement of technology has a significant impact on the use of images and videos as learning material, enhancing accessibility, interactivity, visual quality, and learning efficacy/efficiency. This study's objective is to examine the role of image and video elements in learning media that promote student independence. The research will give information on the effect of the utilization of images and videos on the independent learning of primary school children. Give information on how the usage of visuals and videos can boost the connection between information and elementary school students' comprehension. Utilizing the process of a literature review, the research gives recommendations on the use of images and videos to help students comprehend the subject matter, boost learning motivation, facilitate information storage, and foster creativity. Students' learning independence can be maximized by implementing techniques such as scaffolding, problem-based learning, inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, flipped classroom, and game-based learning. More research is required to analyze the efficacy of the use of images and videos, students' preferences for learning media, the adoption of optimization strategies, and the significance of images and videos in promoting primary school students' learning independence

This study aims to find out how these three components are related and influence each other. This study specifically analyzes the effect of teacher certification and teacher motivation on teacher performance in several Islamic elementary schools in South Jakarta. This study uses a regression analysis method with a quantitative approach. The quantitative method was chosen to be used in this study because the specifications of this design were systematic, planned, and clearly structured from the start of the creation of the research design. This research will also take a descriptive approach in order to adequately describe the research object or research results. The population in this study are teachers who have received a teacher certification allowance for at least five years and have had teaching experience for approximately ten years. Based on research data and discussion regarding the effect of teacher certification and teacher work motivation on teacher performance at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah as KKMI Kebayoran Lama, the following conclusions can be drawn: First, teacher certification has a partially positive effect on teacher performance. This is indicated by the value of the X1 regression coefficient of 1,401, which states that every 2 percent increase in teacher certification will increase teacher performance by 1,401 percent. The probability value is less than 5%, namely 0.000 < 0.05 indicating that teacher certification has a positive effect on teacher performance. Second, teacher work motivation partially has a positive effect on teacher performance

Education is an obligation for every human being, and one way is by learning and considering that during the current pandemic, every school can only enter once a week. Therefore, one of the collaborative service programs between the research team and the people of Arisan Deras Village. The service activities provide learning related to increasing children's interest in learning in arisan deras village by using the learning method while singing. Through this method of learning while singing, the research team hopes to improve the quality and memory of children in Arisan Deras Village by studying religious science, Arabic, English, and technology so that they can easily remember and understand and memorize what they learn. At the time of its initial implementation, in the learning and teaching process, it was still seen that there were children who were not interested in participating in learning. But, after applying the learning method of singing, it turned out that children's interest in learning looked more enthusiastic. The results showed that children were more active and quick in understanding the material taught

This study compared the students' environmental care attitudes and environmental literacy skills in two schools. This study uses an ex-post facto research strategy and a quantitative methodology. Purposive sampling was used to sample the science class population, and data were collected by dividing the environmental care attitude surveys and environmental literacy test instruments. Using an SPSS, the data were examined using the independent sample t-test. The study's findings demonstrate that pupils' environmental literacy for schools X (65.50) and Y (62.09) meet good requirements. The criteria for student attitudes toward the environment are quite good; schools X and Y score 58.56 and 58.86, respectively. The results of the hypothesis test indicate a difference in students' environmental literacy but no difference in their attitude toward the environment between the two schools, with a sig. of 0.020 < 0.05 for environmental literacy and a sig. of 0.944 > 0.05 for students' environmental care attitude

This study aims to prove that there is a relationship between learning motivation and students' academic procrastination behavior at one of the Public Elementary School in Sukabumi, West Java. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population is a group of elements or cases, be it individuals, objects or events, which are related to specific criteria and are something that becomes the target of generalizations set by the researcher to study and draw conclusions. The population in this study were all fifth grade elementary school students with a total of 64 students, consisting of 41 male students and 23 female students. Independent variables, namely variables that can influence or influence other variables and are denoted by the variable X. Based on the research results obtained through the process of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a negative and significant relationship between learning motivation and students' academic procrastination with an r count of -0.539 and is in the category of moderate relationship level. The existence of a negative relationship means that if student learning motivation is high then student academic procrastination is low, and vice versa if student learning motivation is low then student academic procrastination is high

    Get PDF
Several previous studies with the main problem of teacher performance in terms of infrastructure and work environment factors generally used regression analysis techniques, which only studied the direct effect of infrastructure and work environment on teacher performance. The novelty of this research is the development of instruments using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurement model, namely developing constructs from performance variables, infrastructure and work environment, through theoretical validation through experts and empirical validation using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) techniques. Seeing the important role of infrastructure and work environment on teacher performance, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of infrastructure and work environment on teacher performance. This study used a quantitative approach using survey methods with the analytical techniques used, namely instrument development using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurement model, and multiple linear regression. The population in this study were high school teachers throughout Tangerang. Respondents were taken based on 20 schools in Tangerang and each school took several samples, and it was obtained as a whole that the sample obtained was 200 respondents. The result of this study is all independent variables has a positive and significant effect toward dependent variable

The Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) [Independent Learning–Independent Campus] policy brings great challenges for university residents, especially new students. Several programs are offered under the policy. One such program is the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards – a Government of Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for a mobility program at top universities overseas. Students from all Indonesian universities are eligible to participate in it. However, to get selected for the program, students must meet certain criteria. In addition, they must have specific skills which should be developed and demonstrated from their first year at the university. The 21st-century skills are particularly essential for students as a provision to join the program. This article discusses the 21st-century critical skills that students must develop for being accepted to the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards. The authors have analyzed relevant literature on 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, literacy, leadership, and responsibility. Based on the results, the article concludes that all the aforementioned skills must be developed by new students from the beginning of their study at the university to successfully be included in the program and gain valuable benefits for future life and career. Keywords: 21st-century skills, Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards, new student
