Программный комплекс для синтеза и исследования систем автоматического управления астатическими объектами
В первом разделе описаны астатические объекты и их классификация, формы представления регуляторов и обзор методов расчета параметров их настройки. Второй раздел посвящен применению методов настройки регуляторов, разработанных для идеальных астатических объектов с запаздыванием, к идеальным астатическим объектам без запаздывания и реальным астатическим объектам первого и второго порядков. В третьем разделе представлены формулы для вычисления прямых показателей качества переходных процессов по возмущающему воздействию. Программный комплекс для синтеза и исследования систем автоматического управления астатическими объектами описан в четвертом разделе. В пятом и шестом разделах представлено обоснование экономической эффективности и социальной ответственности выпускной квалификационной работы.In the first section astatic objects, forms of representation of controllers and the review of methods of calculation of parameters of their control are described. The second section is devoted to application of methods of setup of controllers of ideal astatic objects with delay, to ideal astatic objects without delay and to real astatic objects of the first and second orders. Formulas for calculation of direct indicators of quality of transition processes on the revolting influence are presented in the third section. The software package for synthesis and a research of systems of automatic control of astatic objects is described in the fourth section. Justification of economic efficiency and social responsibility of final qualification work is presented in the fifth and sixth sections
Commentary CeNTech:nanotechnological research and application
The Centre for Nanotechnology (CeNTech), Münster, Germany, represents one of the first dedicated nanotechnology centres in Germany providing space and infrastructure for application, research and development in the area of nanotechnology. It offers an optimised environment for entrepreneurs to fur-ther develop their research ideas into marketable products as well as excellent conditions for application ori-ented research and further education. Three years after the opening of the CeNTech building most of the ex-pectations are fulfilled. The article describes the general aspects of the CeNTech concept and reviews its de-velopment in the first years
Molecular Recognition Force Spectroscopy for Probing Cell Targeted Nanoparticles In Vitro
In the development and design of cell targeted nanoparticle-based systems the density of targeting
moieties plays a fundamental role in allowing maximal cell-specific interaction. Here, we describe the
use of molecular recognition force spectroscopy as a valuable tool for the characterization and
optimization of targeted nanoparticles toward attaining cell-specific interaction. By tailoring the
density of targeting moieties at the nanoparticle surface, one can correlate the unbinding event
probability between nanoparticles tethered to an atomic force microscopy tip and cells to the
nanoparticle vectoring capacity. This novel approach allows for a rapid and cost-effective design of

Observation of energetic terahertz pulses from relativistic solid density plasmas
We report the first experimental observation of terahertz (THz) radiation from the rear surface of a solid target while interacting with an intense laser pulse. Experimental and two-dimensional particle-in-cell simulations show that the observed THz radiation is mostly emitted at large angles to the target normal. Numerical results point out that a large part of the emission originates from a micron-scale plasma sheath at the rear surface of the target, which is also responsible for the ion acceleration. This opens a perspective for the application of THz radiation detection for on-site diagnostics of particle acceleration in laser-produced plasmas
Berry's phase and Quantum Dynamics of Ferromagnetic Solitons
We study spin parity effects and the quantum propagation of solitons (Bloch
walls) in quasi-one dimensional ferromagnets. Within a coherent state path
integral approach we derive a quantum field theory for nonuniform spin
configurations. The effective action for the soliton position is shown to
contain a gauge potential due to the Berry phase and a damping term caused by
the interaction between soliton and spin waves. For temperatures below the
anisotropy gap this dissipation reduces to a pure soliton mass renormalization.
The gauge potential strongly affects the quantum dynamics of the soliton in a
periodic lattice or pinning potential. For half-integer spin, destructive
interference between soliton states of opposite chirality suppresses nearest
neighbor hopping. Thus the Brillouin zone is halved, and for small mixing of
the chiralities the dispersion reveals a surprising dynamical correlation: Two
subsequent band minima belong to different chirality states of the soliton. For
integer spin, the Berry phase is inoperative and a simple tight-binding
dispersion is obtained. Finally it is shown that external fields can be used to
interpolate continuously between the Bloch wall dispersions for half-integer

Executive functioning in children with an autism spectrum disorder: Can we differentiate
The aim of this study was to investigate whether children with high-functioning autism (HFA), Asperger's syndrome (AS), and pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified (PDDNOS) can be differentiated from each other and from normal controls on their neurocognitive executive functioning (EF) profile. Children with HFA and AS showed the most EF deficits. The EF profile of the PDDNOS group was more disturbed that the normal control group, but was less disturbed than the profile of the HFA and AS groups. Little difference was found between the three PDD subtypes with respect to EF. This study supports the view that executive dysfunctioning plays an important role in autism. The usefulness of a distinction between different PDD subtypes was not demonstrated. © 2006 Springer Science+Business Media, Inc
Regulation of Inflammatory Gene Expression in PBMCs by Immunostimulatory Botanicals
Many hundreds of botanicals are used in complementary and alternative medicine for therapeutic use as antimicrobials and immune stimulators. While there exists many centuries of anecdotal evidence and few clinical studies on the activity and efficacy of these botanicals, limited scientific evidence exists on the ability of these botanicals to modulate the immune and inflammatory responses. Using botanogenomics (or herbogenomics), this study provides novel insight into inflammatory genes which are induced in peripheral blood mononuclear cells following treatment with immunomodulatory botanical extracts. These results may suggest putative genes involved in the physiological responses thought to occur following administration of these botanical extracts. Using extracts from immunostimulatory herbs (Astragalus membranaceus, Sambucus cerulea, Andrographis paniculata) and an immunosuppressive herb (Urtica dioica), the data presented supports previous cytokine studies on these herbs as well as identifying additional genes which may be involved in immune cell activation and migration and various inflammatory responses, including wound healing, angiogenesis, and blood pressure modulation. Additionally, we report the presence of lipopolysaccharide in medicinally prepared extracts of these herbs which is theorized to be a natural and active component of the immunostimulatory herbal extracts. The data presented provides a more extensive picture on how these herbs may be mediating their biological effects on the immune and inflammatory responses
