Capture of slow antiprotons by helium atoms
A consistent quantum mechanical calculation of partial cross-sections leading
to different final states of antiprotonic helium atom was performed. For the
four-body scattering wave function, corresponding to the initial state, as well
as for the antiprotonic helium wave function, appearing in the final tate,
adiabatic approximations was used. Calculations were carried out for a wide
range of antiprotonic helium states and incident energies of the antiproton.
Obtained energy dependances of some cross sections show a rich low energy
structure.Comment: 16 pages, 8 color pictures; the text, the bibliography, and the

Southern Africa in water crisis – A case study of the Pangara River water shortage, 1987–1996: Towards a resource-based conflict management and resolution perspective
This paper is organised in three parts. The first is an assessment of the nature of the environmental and regional weather patterns leading to predictable water shortages. This is followed by the case study of the Pangara River community. Analysed at the micro-level, as the community tried to grapple with the gradual onset of lack of water, it is hoped that the principles brought out can be anticipated at the regional level. The final part briefly draws on the earlier discussion putting forward suggestions and recommendations for the establishment of a regional mechanism for managing the water system
Faddeev calculations of the system with chirally-motivated interaction. I. Low-energy scattering and antikaonic deuterium
A chirally-motivated coupled-channel potential, reproducing all
low-energy experimental data on scattering and kaonic hydrogen and
suitable for using in accurate few-body calculations, was constructed. The
potential was used for calculations of low-energy amplitudes of the elastic
scattering using Faddeev-type AGS equations with coupled
and channels. A complex potential reproducing the
three-body amplitudes was constructed and used for calculation of
level shift and width of kaonic deuterium. The predicted shift eV and width eV are
close to our previous results obtained with phenomenological
potentials.Comment: 15 pages, 5 figures, 3 table
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) for Physiological Symptoms, Pain, Anxiety Disorders and Depression: a Systematic Review
Introduction: All the emotions and mind is a form of energy, both positive and negative energy, has an influence on body functions. While the human body has the potential of natural healing, stress and other emotional problems can impede the healing process. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a form of
psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional illness. Through this systematic review, researchers will discuss about the effectiveness of EFT as a therapy that can affect the improvement of the physiological and psychological. Methods: Search of journal articles was used PECOT framework in the database; Ebscho, Science Direct, Elseiver, Sage
Journals, Scopus, ProQuest, and Pub Med with limitations of publication time is in the last 5 years (2013-2017). There was 17 International journals and researchers conducted review to all of those journals. Results: The overall stated that the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) as a therapy that may influence physiological symptoms, pain, anxiety disorders and depression. Conclusion: This systematic review
strongly recommends the application of EFT as a method of cleansing the mind, focusing (such as meditation) and improving attitudes so as to have a better chance of coping with emotional problems
Microbial Interactions during Upper Respiratory Tract Infections
Competitive interactions between bacteria differ by number and species present; thus, vaccination and treatment strategies may alter nasopharyngeal flora and disease susceptibility
Effect of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) to Anxiety Patient Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Introduction: COPD can affect social and psychological aspects as well as physical health. Anxiety, loss of control in self-reliance, changes in self-concept and respiratory
barriers result in serious psychological changes, including fear of death and depression. There is a significant relationship between depression and anxiety with sleep quality of chronic disease patients, the higher the degree of depression the worse the quality of sleep. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) is a therapy that uses spiritual elements to reduce psychological and physical problems caused by emotional or psychosomatic.
Methods: This study use Quasy Experiment "with Pre-Post test group control design approach. The population of this study was the patient of COPD in dr. H. Koesnadi
Hospital and Bhayangkara Hospital at Bondowoso. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique according to inclusion criteria with total 68 patients. SEFT
intervention performed 8 times for 1 month. Instrument for anxiety using HARS. Data analysis using Mann Whitney Test.
Results: There was a significant difference in the level of anxiety (p 0,000) between before and after SEFT therapy.
Conclusion: SEFT can reduce anxiety levels of COPD patients, if done regularly and sustainably. The intervention focuses on reducing emotional or psychosomatic psychological problem
Short-range oscillators in power-series picture
A class of short-range potentials on the line is considered as an
asymptotically vanishing phenomenological alternative to the popular confining
polynomials. We propose a method which parallels the analytic Hill-Taylor
description of anharmonic oscillators and represents all our Jost solutions
non-numerically, in terms of certain infinite hypergeometric-like series. In
this way the well known solvable Rosen-Morse and scarf models are generalized.Comment: 23 pages, latex, submitted to J. Phys. A: Math. Ge

A Literature Review: Stress Management in The Family of Intensive Care Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction: Intensive care unit is a unit with a complex case and a stressor strainer. When patients enter intensive care families have a variety of stressors such as rapid decision making and costs are not small. The role of nurse as educator is very important in reducing family anxiety with patients treated in intesive units. Mothers of intensive care babies feel a great deal of anxiety over their child's condition, so there needs to be a good system support for the healing of her and her baby. Various ways nurses do in reducing stress experienced by the patient's family such as good communication between nurses and families of patients with intensive care. This review aims to get a picture of stress management that can be done on the family of intensive care patients. Methods: A literature review was conducted in the fields of ebscho, sience direct, elseiver, sage journals, scopus, and proquest, limited the range of the last 10 years from 2007-2017. The final sample included 18 articles. Results: The literature found that the causes of family stressors include rapid decision-making, fear of family emergency conditions, maintenance costs and length of care. Good communication and good information and skill support can decrease the stress experienced by intensive care patients' families. Conclussions: Intensive care is a unit with high complexity, unstable conditions and sophisticated technology. Conditions that require rigorous monitoring not only cause stressors for the patient, but become a stressor for the patient's family
