    The paper titled “MANAGERIAL BEHAVIOR AND EFFECTIVENESS” undertaken in First source solution in Trichy. The research paper is about managerial behaviour and effectiveness that is to determine the managerial behavior towards the employee benefits. Also to predict the employee satisfaction level towards the training programs and managerial strategies. In this project we prepared an effective questionnaire with closed answers and circulated among the employee sample size. Finally obtained data are analyzed using table analysis to obtain the feedback of the employee towards training programs and managerial strategies. Thus the area of improvisation from employee perspective can be figured out and necessary measures can be taken by the management to satisfy the employee and sustain the employees.     Nanofluids have a great impact on heat transfer characteristics due to increased thermal conductivity and heat transfer coefficient. In this study, Titanium nanoparticles mixed in liquid sodium has been chosen for analyzing the effect of Nanofluid coolant for a Nuclear Sub- assembly. This study is conducted to observe the effect of nanoparticles on the flow properties and heat transfer characteristics such as velocity, heat transfer coefficient, clad temperature, coolant temperature etc. These effects have been observed for varying nanoparticle concentration and different flow blockage sizes. For this study, 7-pin fuel bundle with and without blockage has been modeled and analyzed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation codes. The basis of this study is an experimental study which showed a reduction in the reactivity of sodium in presence of air when titanium nanoparticles were included.     Knowledge Management System (KMS) merupakan suatu alat bantu yang dapat mendukung proses knowledge management di suatu organisasi agar berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Program Studi Sistem Informasi IT Telkom merupakan program studi (prodi) yang mengalami perkembangan yang pesat. Hal ini disebabkan oleh minat masyarakat yang semakin bertambah setiap tahunnya dan kebutuhan dunia kerja akan lulusan Sistem Informasi (SI) juga semakin banyak. Dalam upaya mengoptimalkan lulusan SI, Prodi Sistem Informasi mengupayakan proses pengajaran berjalan dengan baik dan tepat pada sasaran sesuai tujuan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan suatu sistem untuk mendukung proses pengajaran agar dapat menghasilkan hal yang baik. Sistem yang dibutuhkan merupakan sistem yang dapat mengelola knowledge dimiliki setiap individu pada proses pengajaran agar dapat diakses secara mudah. Oleh karena itu, perlu dibangun media proses pengajaran berbasis web sebagai bagian dari Knowledge Management System di Program Studi Sistem Informasi IT Telkom yang mampu mengelola knowledge tersebut.Media Proses Pengajaran dibuat dengan metode pengembangan sistem waterfall berbasis website yang memiliki aksesibilitas tinggi. Dalam metode waterfall, pengembangan Media Proses Pengajaran di Program Studi Sistem Informasi IT Telkom menggunakan framework CodeIgniter sehingga memudahkan pengembangan lebih lanjut terhadap KMS tersebut.Media Proses Pengajaran memiliki fungsionalitas untuk mendukung proses pengajaran agar knowledge yang ada dapat dikelola dengan baik. Pengelolaan video pengajaran merupakan fitur utama yang dapat membantu dosen dan mahasiswa mengoptimalkan hasil proses pengajaran.     A comparative study of lichtenstein mesh repair vs nonmesh tissue repair desarda’s technique for inguinal hernia repair

    BACKGROUND: The objective of this study is to compare the outcome of lichtenstein’s repair vs. Desarda’s repair for inguinal repair. INTRODUCTION: In general surgery department routinely doing surgeries for inguinal hernia repair, various procedures still accepted for inguinal hernia repair like bassini’s, shouldice, and other tissue based technique. Now commonly used technique is Lichtenstein tension free mesh repair. Desarda’s technique is tissue based technique of hernia repair using an undetached strip of external oblique aponeorosis to strengthen the posterior wall of the inguinal canal. Present study deals with the comparison of outcome of the Lichtenstein repair and Desrada’s repair for inguinal hernia. AIM OF THE STUDY: The Aim of Study is to find the Effectiveness of Non Mesh Tissue Repair (Desarda) in compared with mesh repair (lichtensein). 1. Reducing Post-Operative Pain, 2. Recurrence, 3. Complication, 4. Duration of Hospital Stay, 5. Return to Normal Non Strenuous Activity. METHODS: This study is randomized Prospective control trial Period of 6 months from FEB2017 to SEP207 of 50 patients Having primary inguinal hernia were operated in our hospital.25 patients were operated using lichtenstein’s Mesh repair and 25 patients using Desarda’s repair. The variables like Age, Sex, type of surgery, pain on 1st,3 rd,5th post-operative day complications, time to return to normal activities, cost effectiveness, recurrence were analysed. RESULTS: There were no significant difference regarding Age, Sex, Location of hernia. Pain (mild to moderate),patients hospitalized for lesser time in Desarda’s group. No recurrence, Return to normal nonsternous Activity After 7-15 days in Desarda group was 84 % while only 48% of patient in lichtenstein repair. CONCLUSION: The Lichtenstein repair and Desarda procedures of primary inguinal hernia repair do not differ in the means of procedure, complexity local complications an pain intensity is higher in Lichtenstein repair compared to Desarda’s repair, no recurrence of hernia, cost effective, hospital stay is low for Desarda’s repair

    The Regional Education Office of North Sulawesi Province is a department engaged in education that carries out services in the field of education from the center to the regions. The way to work in this company is not monotonous. All employees and leaders establish good relationships with each other without reducing respect for their superiors or leaders. This happens because leaders who want to share and socialize with employees. The leaders in the North Sulawesi Provincial Education Office also often provide motivation on various occasions to provide more work enthusiasm for their employees. A good relationship is also proven by the way the opinions are conveyed by employees who are directly discussed by the office leaders. A well-structured organizational system also has an impact on monitoring employee performance because each has responsibilities so that they provide mutual input and encouragement on various occasions. The employees also continue to be provided with training that maximizes each other\u27s performance. A comfortable and safe working atmosphere also makes workers able to work according to their responsibilities.     Influence of Ag+ and Mn2+ ions on structural, optical and photoluminescence features of ZnS quantum dots

    The current study deals with the structural, morphological, elemental, optical and photoluminescence behaviors of Ag+, Mn2+ dual doped ZnS quantum dots (QDs). The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) studies confirmed the cubic structure and size of the crystallites (~2 nm). The Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) photographs portrayed the surface and morphological structure of prepared samples. Energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectra (FTIR) ensured the presence of Zn, Ag, Mn and, S in the samples as per the anticipated stoichiometry ratio. The UV–visible spectra showed a red shift in optical absorption and band gap gets narrowed due to the incorporation of Ag+ ions. The size effect has overcome the quantum confinement effect in this case. Through photoluminescence (PL) studies, a weak UV emission and strong red wavelength emissions were received and discussed on the basis of sulfur vacancies. This red emission was dealt in terms of d-electrons transition between host and dopant ions

    ABSTRAK Hubungan Daya Ledak Tungkai Dan Keseimbangan Terhadap Kemampuan Lompat jauh mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Angkatan 2018 UNM. Skripsi. Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan, Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif yang menggunakan rancangan penelitian “korelasional” Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui; (1) Ada hubungan daya ledak tungkai terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan olahraga Angkatan 2018 UNM; (2) Ada hubungan keseimbangan terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Angkatan 2018 UNM; (3) Ada hubungan daya ledak tungkai dan keseimbangan secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh pada mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Angkatan 2018 UNM. Populasinya adalah keseluruhan pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Angkatan 2018 UNM. Sampel yang digunakan adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Angkatan 2018 UNM sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik penentuan sampel adalah dengan pemilihan secara acak dengan cara undian (Simple Random Sampling). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi ganda, analisis koefisien hubungan anatara pearson product moment (r), dan analisis hubungan antara ganda (R) melalui program SPSS pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Daya ledak tungkai berhubungan secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh pada mahasiswa pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Angkatan 2018 UNM, dengan nilai ρ sebesar 0,750 (Pvalue< α 0,05); (2) Keseimbangan berhubungaan secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Angkatan 2018 UNM, dengan nilai ρ sebesar 0,625 (Pvalue< α 0,05); Daya ledak tungkai dan keseimbangan berhubungan secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan lompat jauh Pendidikan Kepelatihan Olahraga Angkatan 2018 UNM diperoleh nilai Rhitung (R) sebesar 0,843 (Pvalue< α 0,05); dengan nilai Fhitung F sebesar 33.101.
