Inclusive hadronic distributions in jets and sub-jets with jet axis from color current
The hadronic \kt-spectrum and the gluon to quark average multiplicity ratio
inside a high energy sub-jet are determined from a precise
definition of the jet axis, including corrections of relative magnitude with respect to the Modified Leading Logarithmic
Approximation (MLLA), in the limiting spectrum approximation (assuming an
infrared cut-off Q_0 =\lqcd). The results for the \kt-spectrum in the
limiting spectrum approximation are found to be, after normalization, in
impressive agreement with measurements by the CDF collaboration and the ratio
has not been measured yet.Comment: Invited lecture at Ringberg Workshop: New Trends in HERA Physics

Polarisation and Health
This paper examines the effect of income polarisation on individual health. We argue that polarisation captures much better the social tension and conflict that underlie some of the pathways linking income disparities and individual health, and which have been traditionally proxied by inequality. We test our premises with panel data for Spain. Results show that polarisation has a detrimental effect on health. We also find that the way the relevant population subgroups are defined is important: polarisation is only significant if measured between education-age groups for each region. Regional polarisation is not significant. Our results are obtained conditional on a comprehensive set of controls, including absolute and relative income.polarisation, health, fixed-effects ordered logit model, conflict, psychosocial stress, social capital

This study is embedded in the research of Modern Archeology, which has been developed in recent years in some Canary scientific institutions, as the Department of Prehistory, Anthropology and Ancient History at the University of La Laguna. In this study we have carried out a practical example of chemical analysis with the material of the Church Nuestra Señora de La Concepcion in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, to infer changes between infant and adult diet in the eighteenth century. Despite the poor preservation of the anthropological remains, it was possible to infer dietary habits. For this purpose, we propose an analysis model based on the study of enamel and dentin of 39 adult teeth from various pits of this church. Thus, we propose this method as appropriate to investigate dietary changes between child and adult populations. Results are very positive and show the difference between the infant and adult diet.
