    Discourse Structure of Classroom Session During Covid-19 Pandemic

    The case of discourse classroom session during Covid-19 pandemic is conducted online might contain different and various structures. The study aims are to identify the typical structure of classroom session. This study is in the domain of qualitative using a Conversation Analysis (CA) approach. Data were series of utterances in classroom sessions. Data sources were taken from lecturers and students speech in the activity of classroom sessions. Data sources were taken from lecturers and students’ speech in the activity of classroom sessions conducted mainly by Indonesian and foreign lectures through Google Meet and Zoom. Data collection was carried out using recording, note-taking, and interpreting techniques from the video process activity through Google Meet and Zoom operations. Data analysis uses comprehensive interpretation and reflection techniques. The results show that typical discourse structure of classroom session is I-C-CI (Introduction-Content-Closing), while this has five variations such as I:G-C-QA-CI:F, I:C-C:PM-CI:OF, I:G-C:P-CI:OF, I:G-C:PM-CI:GI, I:P-C:PM-CI:C

    The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all lines of life, especially human hosts on talk shows and artists on electronic cinema are obliged to wear masks during the broadcast. The use of masks as an implementation of Prokes is accordance with KPI regulation to prevent the infection of Covid-19. The formulation of the research problem to describe how is the representation of social groups in responding to Deddy Corbuzier's post? The purpose of this research is to find the representation of social groups in responding to Deddy Corbuzier's post. The research design is in a qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research data are netizens expressions that come from Deddy Corbuzier's account. The data collection technique used was the observation and note-taking techniques. Data analysis uses critical discourse analysis and Representation with discursive constructs. The results show the representation of social groups that supported Deddy Corbuzier, as for the social groups: (1) verified accounts from the public figures (2) social groups of workers who presented complaints related to Prokes, and (3) unidentified groups represented variations such as KPI and electronic cinema. This offense is done by means of blasphemy, criticism, evaluation, and suggestions. The information representation of groups one and two are clear, while group three variegated cause conflict

    Flood-hit in Jakarta had attracted a netizens’ response, both supporting and unsupportive. The aims are: (1) To determine an expressive speech acts’s form against flood events (2) To describe the field of expression in netizent's expressive speech acts. This research is descriptive qualitative. The research data are in the form of sentences regarding expressive speech acts and the field of expression. Data sources include 92  netizens' utterances on Instagram. Data collection techniques use reading and note-taking techniques. The analysis method used is the distribution method by dividing the elements directly followed by using the pragmatic matching method. The results of the study, first: Netizen expressive speech acts towards flood events in the form of (a) Expressive praying (b) Expressive scolding (c) Expressive disappointment (d) Expressive criticism (e) Expressive complaining (d) Expressive self-reflection.     Netizens’ Responses towards the Covid-19 Pandemic Text: A Study of Speech Acts and Their Contents

    The case of increasing the corona-virus cluster circulating on social media has reaped various responses from netizens. The research objectives: (1) Determine the form of speech acts in netizens’ responses towards the Covid-19 pandemic text (2) Describe the content in netizens’ responses towards the Covid-19 pandemic text. The research data are in the form of sentences (speech acts) and sentences containing the substance or content of the netizens’ responses. Data sources are as many as 180 netizens’ responses on Instagram and Facebook. The data are collected by reading and taking notes of techniques. The method of data analysis is using a distribution method which is dividing the elements directly and the equivalent method with pragmatic techniques. The results: First, speech acts in netizens’ responses as locutionary acts, illocutionary acts, and perlocutionary acts.     Color Representation in the Word ‘COVID-19’ in WHO Indonesia’s Instagram

    The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 has triggered governments worldwide, including WHO Indonesia, to use social media as an essential tool for digital education dissemination. In this case, WHO Indonesia uses Instagram to share posters, with a visual emphasis through the use of color in the word 'COVID-19'. This study aims to describe how colors are represented in the word COVID-19 on WHO Indonesia's Instagram posters. This study uses qualitative research. This study was analyzed using content analysis. The results reveal that the word COVID-19 in each poster content uploaded by WHO Indonesia has a variety of colors. The color representations contained in the word COVID-19 are red as a risk warning to smokers, dark orange as sensitivity and empathy for survivors of violence, yellow-gold as a reminder of healthy activities at home, indigo as awareness of body health, teal green as maintaining physical distance, dodger blue as maintaining health during a pandemic, sienna as resilience and fortitude in facing the pandemic, white as preventing the spread of the virus, and dim gray as serious form in facing COVID-19. This study aids in comprehending the reasoning behind the selection of specific colors in the posters utilized by WHO Indonesia in their digital education endeavors regarding COVID-19. It can prove beneficial in designing more impactful health messages and understanding the influence of colors on individuals' perceptions and reactions

    Lecturer's Feedback Toward Students' Willingness to Communicate in Tertiary EFL Classrooms Interaction During the COVID-19 Pandemic

    The transformation of education during the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted English teaching (EFL). To facilitate the successful implementation of this transformation, lecturers provide feedback to correct the error and enhance the skills of students to communicate. This study aims: (1) investigate the types of lecturer's feedback used in the tertiary EFL interaction classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic and (2) identify types of lecturer's feedback effect on students' willingness to communicate of the tertiary EFL interaction classroom during the COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing on a qualitative study, data were collected by observation, audio and video recording, and transcription within two online tertiary EFL classroom of the Department of English Education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The result indicates that types of lecturer's feedback into evaluative, interactive, corrective, and motivational feedback. Evaluative, corrective, and motivational feedback are identified effect in enhancing skills on students' willingness to communicate. The results offer implications for language lecturers to be aware that providing feedback affects students' willingness to communicate success or failure

Jroning panliten iki nggunakake teori folklor yaiku crita saka masyarakat. Kahanane TKNWI ora bisa uwal saka crita saka masyarakat dhukuh Ngrowo Desa Plosojenar. Crita kang ana jroning masyarakat ngenani TKNWI dadi data panliten. Wondene teori simbolik dadi teori kanggo ngonceki data kang ana. Data kang ana saka informasi masyarakat lan uga saka adicara ritual kang kedaden ing TKNWI. Panliten iki migunakake metode kualitatif dheskriptif. Panliten iki njupuk adicara TKNWI nalika mengeti sasi Sura ing bale desa Plosojenar Kecamatan Kauman Kabupaten Ponorogo. Teknik ngumpulake dhata sajrone panliten iki dikumpulake kanthi cara observasi partisipasi, panliten lumantar wawanrembug ing antarane para sesepuh,pinisepuh lan perangkat desa sarta panulis dhewe kanthi alat kanggo ngrekam, kamera video lan alat tulis. Saka asil wawancara iku bakal dijlentrehake kanthi cara pendekatan budaya. Asil saka poto uga nambahi bukti nyata dhata kanggo dionceki. Makna lan simbol uga dadi piranti kanggo nganalisis adicara TKNWI, sarta folklor kanggo nganalisis asil wawanrembug karo masyarakat.     Social media are online features to get information and to express the positive and negative response for warganet. The case of the Election of Miss Indonesia 2020 is the form of rejection and defense responses. This study aims to describe the variatios of negative and positive sense warganet response in the Election of Miss Indonesia 2020 which mispronounced Pancasila. There are two variation of data: First, 53 forms of negative warganet responses. Second, 45 forms of positive responses. Data sources are 98 warganet responses on instagram.  Data were collected through reading and taking note. Theoretical triangulation is used to validate the data.  The analysis method uses distributional and referential identity and pragmatics. The results show the form of rejection and defense responses.     The passing of B.J. Habibie is identified as a form of utterance about the existence of interreligious tolerance in Indonesia. Interreligious is intersected with each other in upholding the value of tolerance as manifestation of a sense of Bhineka Tunggal Ika. The research aims to identify the value of tolerance based on potential diversities among interreligious in condolence-expressions. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data are from Warganet expressions which contain tolerance value. Collecting data uses purposive sampling technique. Data sources are taken from Warganet expressions on Twitter and Instagram. Analyzing data method uses distribution method with markup reading techniques and the equivalent method with referential equivalence technique that refers to the meaning outside of language.
