APLIKASI KARAKTERISTIK PENYEARAH SATU FASE TERKENDALI PULSE WIDTH MODULATION (PWM) PADA BEBAN RESISTIF
Penyearah adalah alat untuk mengubah tegangan bolak balik menjadi tegangan searah.Penerapan penggunaan rectifier dalam industri secara luas sebagai Uninterruptible Power Supply(UPS), pengaturan tegangan konstan, penggerak kecepatan motor, perbaikan faktor daya. Satuphasa terkendali penyearah menggunakan metode Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) adalah salahsatu jenis penyearah yang tegangan keluaran yang dikendalikan dengan perbaikan faktor daya.Eksperimen dilakukan dalam dua kasus variable yaitu, pada beban konstan dengan teganganinput variatif dan variabel beban dengan tegangan masukan konstan.Kedua penelitian menunjukkan bahwa satu phasa terkendali penyearah menggunakan metodePulse Width Modulation (PWM) menjaga tegangan sumber dan ouput akan konstan efektifmeskipun beban variati
WATAK HARMONIK PADA INVERTER TIGA FASA TAK BERBEBAN
AbstractHarmonic is one of sinusoidal components, one wave period from whichhaving multiple frequency of its fundamental frequency one, leading toelectrical power quality problems. Harmonic distortion in term of voltageand current ones, generally is due to non linier impedance. Inverter is one ofexample of it. There are some items that will be measured. There are value ofharmonic at source and value of voltage and current harmonic when inverter does not have any load. IEEE Standard of 5191992 as a reference in determining maximum limitation voltage and current harmonics. The result of the tests were showed that voltage harmonic distortion at inverter did not exceed the IEEE 5191992 maximum limitation of 5%. While current harmonic distortion had exceed the maximum limitation of the IEEE 5191992. The result of the tests were showed that voltage harmonic distortion at inverter did not exceed the IEEE 519-1992 maximum limitation of 5%. While current harmonic distortion had exceed the maximum limitation of the IEEE 519-1992. The highest results were exceeding 57,52 % when inverter does not have any load. After using passive filter that function for reducing the value of harmonic, the total harmonic distortion (THD) current w only 6,837% when inverter does not have any load. EFEK PENGGUNAAN SCR MOTOR CONTROLLER UNTUK PENINGKATAN EFISIENSI PADA MOTOR INDUKSI TIGA FASA
AC Induction motors are sized for maximum load and are operated at a constant full speed, because they are supplied with power from AC lined at a fixed-sinusoidal voltage and fixed frequency. However, load of motor does not always same at many conditions but the input voltage and power of motor is fixed. Of course, it will influence the efficiency of the motor. One method to improve efficiency of the motor is varying the voltage as loaded its and called Motor Controlled. Motor Controlled is AC Drive that using SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) as the output voltage controller by controlling the firing angle. By employing SCR Motor Controller that adjust the voltage of the motor offers advantageous to improve efficiency of motor and potential for significant energy savings
Analysis of Lightning Disruption Reduction in HVAD Tower 70 kV Parallel Inductance Grounding using NA2XSY Cable in West Java
The Sumadra - Pameungpeuk region has an uneven geographical location because it is traversed by mountains and beaches and has a high level of ISO Keraunic which causes many lightning strikes to occur in this region. The disturbance caused by lightning strikes is very worrying because it can disrupt the stability of electric power in West Java, Integrated Service Unit (ISU) Cirebon region in particular and can harm consumers as users of electricity. To minimize the disruption caused by lightning strikes in this study using the parallel mounting inductance method using NA2XSY cable. This study aims if there is a lightning strike on the GSW wire it can be immediately properly grounded. NA2XSY cable was chosen as direct grounding because the inductance value on the cable is smaller than the inductance value on the tower so that when NA2XSY cable is paralleled with the body tower it produces a low parallel inductance value so that it is expected to minimize the occurrence of back flashover due to the induction voltage resulting in the flash isolator. The results showed the lowest tower resistance value in the Sumadra-Pameungpeuk region of 0.21 ohms is located at tower number 77 and the highest resistance is 4.3 ohms at tower numbers 49 feet A and D, this meets PLN's standard of <5 ohms. Parallel inductance installation succeeded in reducing the disturbances caused by lightning, namely, in January-July 2018 the disruption occurred 4 times and in January - July 2019 became 2 times the disturbance
Optimasi Rekonfigurasi Jaringan Pada Sistem Distribusi ULP Way Halim Kota Bandar Lampung Mempertimbangkan Penggunaan Beban Nonlinear
Distorsi Harmonisa merupakan sebuah permasalahan yang menjadi tantangan tersendiri dalam menjaga kualitas daya listrik akbiat penggunaan beban nonlinear. Rekonfigurasi jaringan dinilai mampu memperbaiki perfoma sistem distribusi dengan cara pengoperasioan tie switch hingga didapatkan konfigurasi yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk optimasi teknik rekonfigurasi jaringan untuk meminimalkan total rugi rugi daya saluran dan %THDv menggunakan metode Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) yang diuji pada Sistem Kelistrikan ULP Way Halim Kota Bandar Lampung 88 bus. Hasil optimasi didapatkan penurunan total rugi rugi daya saluran sebesar 64,75 kW atau sebesar 79,51% dan mereduksi nilai %THD

Network reconfiguration for improving performance system in ULP Sungguminasa considering nonlinear loads
Network reconfiguration is a very economical technique that can improve electrical system performance. The development of semiconductor electrical equipment technology to meet human needs and work, known as nonlinear loads, has had a negative impact in the form of the spread of harmonic distortion which can accelerate the aging process and even damage equipment. In this paper, the effect of the optimization results of network reconfiguration techniques on the Sungguminasa 165-bus Executive Unit Service or Unit Layanan Pelanggan (ULP) electrical system is contaminated with harmonic distortion due to the use of nonlinear loads. This technique was optimized using the particle swarm optimization (PSO) method with a multi objective function in the form of minimizing %THDv and total losses with several limitations. Simulation results from the optimization process of several study cases are shown by activating the five tie switches from the network reconfiguration process on the Sungguminasa 165-bus ULP system which is able to improve power quality by reducing the average %THDv by 3.89% and total losses by 8.19%
SISTEM DETEKSI DINI BANJIR BERBASIS SENSOR FLOAT MAGNETIC LEVEL GAUGE
Central Sulawesi has tropical climate conditions with interconnected rivers caused each of it can experience the impact of the sudden rise of water levels if there is a heavy rainfall in upstream areas which is commonly called “a sent flood”. Therefore, it is needed an early detector flood tool that works based on the height of river water level so that the impact of floods can be minimized. Early detector flood tool can function automatically by giving early warning when water levels reach a certain limit. The detector of height levels of river streams is designed using float magnetic level gauge method. This height level of river streams detector is able to provide information in real time based on the height level of river streams by giving information in the form of warning light indicator and siren alarm as alert and danger sign.
