[EN] In this article we review the historic background of Spanish Industrial Engineering and briefly compare it with its equivalents in the USA and other countries, indicating similarities and differences. We present the actions taken in Spain that have consolidated Organizational Engineering. First, we describe the early history in the older Schools of Industrial Engineering. We follow reporting the new Industrial Organization speciality in the Degree in Industrial Engineering and the Second Cycle of Industrial Organization Engineering that extends until the end of the last century. We present the actual academic organization to adapt to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) along with the impact that its adaptation has had on the new Degrees, Master Degrees and Postgraduate Courses. Finally, a short section deals with the Organizational Engineering Development Association (ADINGOR), given its importance for the visibility and consolidation of Spanish Organizational Engineering in Spain and elsewhere.Companys Pascual, R.; Lario Esteban, FC.; Vicens Salort, E.; Poler, R.; Ortiz Bas, Á. The search campaign to identify and Image the Philae Lander on the surface of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko

On the 12th of November 2014, the Rosetta Philae Lander descended to make the first soft touchdown on the surface of a comet – comet 67P/Churyumov- Gerasimenko. That soft touchdown did occur but due to the failure in the firing of its two harpoons, Philae bounced and travelled across the comet making contact with the surface twice more before finally landing in a shaded rocky location somewhere on the southern hemisphere of the comet. The search campaign, led by ESA, involved multiple teams across Europe with a wide range of techniques used in support of it. This search campaign would continue through 2015 where a prime candidate on the surface was identified and on into 2016 to end on the 2nd of September 2016 when a definitive and conclusive image was taken of the lander on the surface of the comet, confirming the prime candidate to indeed be Philae

Institutional entrepreneurship, governance, and poverty: Insights from emergency medical response servicesin India

We present an in-depth case study of GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute, an Indian public–private partnership (PPP), which successfully brought emergency medical response to remote and urban settings. Drawing insights from the case, we investigate how the organization established itself through institutional entrepreneurship using a process conceptualized as opportunity framing, entrenchment, and propagation. The case and context highlight the need for innovation in organizational design and governance modes to create a new opportunity that connects state actors, private healthcare providers, and the public at large. We consider the role of open innovation and novel business models in creating these service platforms. The implications of our findings for the literature on PPPs, institutional entrepreneurship, inclusive and open innovation, and organizational design in base of the pyramid contexts are discussed
