Experiências futebolísticas de um professor de Educação Física no esporte de rendimento e no esporte educacional

Este artigo tem como objetivo relatar as experiências futebolísticas de um professor de Educação Física trabalhando com esporte de rendimento e com esporte educacional na cidade do Rio Grande. Diante disso, ficou evidente que o esporte de rendimento é voltado para a parte técnica do jogo, boa execução de movimentos em busca da vitória nos jogos. Já no esporte educacional, as aulas são pensadas objetivando a busca da autonomia dos alunos na hora do jogo, assim como a ampliação de sua vivência esportiva

Traditional vs nontraditional gendered roles in Instant Relay Chat

Communication technology, such as the Internet, reflects social norms in society, including gender roles. The author explored traditional and nontraditional gender roles in Instant Relay Chat (IRC) rooms. This quantitative study tested five hypotheses: H1: Participants who portray themselves as women tend to use more supportive language than men in IRC; H2: Participants who portray themselves as women tend to use more attenuated language than men in IRC; H3: Participants who portray themselves as women tend to use more graphic accents (GA) than men in IRC; H4: Participants who portray themselves as men tend to use more challenging language than women in IRC; and H5: Participants who portray themselves as men tend to flame more than women in IRC. Based on the results of the tested hypotheses, the author found no significant difference between those who portrayed themselves as men and women in their use of supportive language, attenuated language, challenging language or flaming in IRC

The evolution of information and comunication technologies in organizations: some considerations for the sector in Argentina

Since the advent of computers until now, organizations have used the Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in many and varied forms. The focus of this work and therefore, its methodology and conclusions, argue that it is possible to identify different stages or steps facing organizations that decide the inclusion of ICTs. If one can know in which stage the company is, it will be useful to know whether or not it should go to the next, or the stage at which it is optimal, given their constraints. In this paper we develop three different models that explain how organizations deploy ICTs, talking about different stages or parts in this process. Metabolic interactions between vitamin A and conjugated linoleic acid

Lipid-soluble molecules share several aspects of their physiology due to their common adaptations to a hydrophilic environment, and may interact to regulate their action in a tissue-specific manner. Dietary conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a fatty acid with a conjugated diene structure that is found in low concentrations in ruminant products and available as a nutritional supplement. CLA has been shown to increase tissue levels of retinol (vitamin A alcohol) and its sole specific circulating carrier protein retinol-binding protein (RBP or RBP4). However, the precise mechanism of this action has not been elucidated yet. Here, we provide a summary of the current knowledge in this specific area of research and speculate that retinol and CLA may compete for catabolic pathways modulated by the activity of PPAR- and RXR heterodimer. Identification of a Novel Retinoic Acid Response Element in the Promoter Region of the Retinol-binding Protein Gene

We have previously demonstrated that the retinol-binding protein (RBP) gene is induced by retinoids in hepatoma cells. In this report, we define in greater detail the region that mediates the retinoic acid response of the gene. It consists of two degenerate retinoic acid response elements, separated by 30 nucleotides that encompass a GC-rich Sp1 consensus-like sequence. We demonstrate that the entire region, as well as each element taken singly, can bind the retinoic acid receptors as homo- and heterodimers with low affinity. However, only the entire region is able to confer retinoic acid inducibility to a heterologous promoter. We also show that the correct phasing of the DNA segment is necessary to achieve full responsiveness. Site-directed mutants in each element retained partial induction after transfection, while the double mutant was no longer responsive, suggesting that the two elements act synergistically. Mutational analysis of the Sp1 binding site and cotransfection experiments revealed that Sp1 or a related protein plays an important role in the transcription of the gene. Thus, the retinoic acid induction of the RBP gene is mediated by a novel and complex responsive unit formed by two distinct elements located in a specific sequence context and the interplay of the retinoid receptors with Sp1 is required for induction

Reorganização do trabalho: um estudo de caso na folha de pagamento da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

TCC (graduação) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro Sócio Econômico, Curso de Administração.Este trabalho está centrado em uma ação operacional para melhorar a qualidade do trabalho, na realização das atividades de cálculos de pagamentos de progressão funcional. Visando identificar e entender as necessidades da mudança no processo, levantou-se os dados sobre o problema de pesquisa, analisou-se o processo em questão com base nas informações obtidas. estudou-se soluções, implantando-se a mais viável. A metodologia utilizada neste trabalho compreende pesquisa bibliográfica, pesquisa documental e pesquisa qualitativa. Na fundamentação teórica abordou-se conceitos para esclarecer as dúvidas e fortalecer as afirmações encontradas no decorrer da pesquisa. O principal resultado concretizou-se a partir da implantação do novo processo de cálculo de progressão funcional, disto resultou ainda no tratamento dos dados referente à progressão funcional, bem como na certeza de ter arquivos de dados confiáveis proporcionando facilidades e agilidades nas consultas. Outros fatores importantes observados deram-se pela redução dos esforços, de custos e de tempo para com este processo. Dessa forma conclui-se que este estudo vem contribuir para a melhoria, a eficiência e qualidade dos serviços oferecidos para o corpo funcional da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina

O COMPARTILHAMENTO DA GESTÃO DE PESSOAS NA UFSC: ANÁLISE DO PROCESSO SIMPLIFICADO DE CONTRATAÇÃO DE PROFESSOR SUBSTITUTO

As mudanças pelas quais vêm passando a Educação Superior, no Brasil, tem como cenário as mudanças na base produtiva da economia e na configuração do Estado. Nesse sentido, esta pesquisa teve como objetivo verificar de que forma a consultoria interna de recursos humanos, que é uma técnica moderna de RH, poderia ser aplicada em uma IES pública. E, mais especificamente, a pesquisa realizada objetivou contextualizar a gestão de pessoas em uma IES federal apresentando o estudo de campo desenvolvido na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC, relatar o processo simplificado de contratação de professor substituto lá realizado e analisá-lo. Dessa forma, foi possível verificar a existência de consultoria interna de RH na instituição por meio do processo simplificado de contratação de Professor Substituto relatado ao observar que há o compartilhamento das funções de RH relacionadas a seleção, acompanhamento e avaliação do candidato a professor substituto que é realizada pelo Departamento solicitante, enquanto que as atividades de cunho burocrático e legal são realizadas pelas Pró-Reitoria responsáveis. Diante disso, pôde-se verificar que o processo relatado é realizado de forma integrada por equipes multiprofissionais e que caracteriza um processo de consultoria interna de RH

Muscle expression of human retinol-binding protein (RBP). Suppression of the visual defect of RBP knockout mice.

Mice lacking retinol-binding protein (RBP) have low circulating retinol levels. They have severe visual defects due to a low content of retinol or retinyl esters in the eye. A transgenic mouse strain that expresses human RBP under the control of the muscle creatine kinase promoter in the null background was generated. The exogenous protein bound retinol and transthyretin in the circulation and effectively delivered retinol to the eye. Thus, RBP expressed from an ectopic source suppresses the visual phenotype, and retinoids accumulate in the eye. No human RBP was found in the retinal pigment epithelium of the transgenic mice, indicating that retinol uptake by the eye does not entail endocytosis of the carrier RBP

O tema que discutimos neste trabalho é sobre as abelhas sem ferrão (Ei ete'i) encontradas na Terra Indígena Araça'í, uma Tekoa Guarani Mbyá localizada no município de Piraquara (Paraná). Para a cultura Guarani Mbyá o mel das abelhas é sagrado e o conhecimento sobre elas vem de nossos antepassados. É usado como alimento, em nossos rituais de cura, e também em nossos artesanatos. As abelhas e seu mel ajudaram os Guaranis em sua trajetória de resistência, elas dependem das florestas em pé e da biodiversidade. As abelhas nativas fazem parte da vida e da cultura do povo Guarani Mbyá
