Treball Final del Màster Universitari en Professor/a d'Educació Secundària Obligatòria i Batxillerat, Formació Professional i Ensenyaments d'Idiomes. Codi: SAP429.

Rapid room temperature crystallization of TiO2 nanotubes

    Get PDF
The paper reports a very efficient and reproducible technique for room temperature crystallization of titanium dioxide in a record time of 5 minutes, by application of alternating voltage square pulses. The well aligned tubular formation of crystalline nanotubes is confirmed through various characterizations and the mechanism of crystallization is explained based on the pulse induced electrophilic-nucleophilic reaction. This ultrafast pulsed crystallization method provides a viable alternative for the widely used post fabrication thermal annealing and is highly applicable in device fabrication.Peer ReviewedPostprint (author's final draft

The Catalan minister for the environment explains that the Kyoto conference was not so much about the environment as about the productive economy. There is a danger of climate change because of economic growth . Although not proven it is better to act reducing emissions. The European Union permits Spain to increase emissions because of its relative backwardness, but Catalonia is heavily industrialised and more concerned about quality of life. The environment is an opportunity for sustainable development. The Agenda 21 is being adopted in Catalonia. Industrial waste management successfully uses a combination of incentives and penalties. Especially significant is the valuation of waste. Other policies are voluntary agreements and direct economic measures . Pollution taxes have been extensively applied since 1981 with 60% reduction in waste water. The Catalan government is concerned about business sustainability. Business can connect with society through environmental reporting . The number of environmental goods and services firms has multiplied by 37 in the last four years. Sustainability is being incorporated into the business culture . The Catalan government, in an effort to modernise administration, has a new law simplifying and integrating environmental paperwork for business

Experimental study and analytical modeling of the channel length influence on the electrical characteristics of small-molecule thin-film transistors

    Get PDF
Bottom-contact p-type small-molecule copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) thin film transistors (TFTs) with different channel lengths have been fabricated by thermal evaporation. The influence of the channel length on the current-voltage characteristics of the fabricated transistors were investigated in the linear and saturation regimes. The devices exhibit excellent p-type operation characteristics. Results show that devices with smaller channel length (L = 2.5 mu m and 5 mu m) present the best electrical performance, in terms of drain current value, field effect mobility and subthreshold slope. Saturation field-effect mobilities of 1.7 x 10(-3) cm(2) V-1 s(-1) and 1 x 10(-3) cm(2) V-1 s(-1) were obtained for TFTs with channel lengths of L = 2.5 mu m and L = 5 mu m, respectively. Transmission line method was used to study the dependence of the contact resistance with the channel length. Contact resistance becomes dominant with respect to the channel resistance only in the case of short channel devices (L = 2.5 mu m and 5 mu m). It was also found that the field effect mobility is extremely dependent on the channel length dimension. Finally, an analytical model has been developed to reproduce the dependence of the transfer characteristics with the channel length and the obtained data are in good agreement with the experimental results for all fabricated devices.Peer ReviewedPostprint (author's final draft

[EN] Time interests architecture and art as a form of construction of reality, as it refers to what can be thought more than to the thing itself. This new context brought architects closer to other disciplines in order to be familiar with their foundations: the uncertain classical concept of truth, the rise of the culture of difference and the revision of the concept of time. One consequence of this was the redefinition of individuation through otherness; since my constitution is through my other self, before myself, to which the outside gives rise to the exterior. Since then, architecture will participate as an artificial culture, using design strategies that integrate techniques or systems such as pseudo-prosthetics where artifact, accident, invention and individuation collide. During the course of events the critics detect an anomaly; the transition from individuation to individualism and the priority on desires with an object or drive over needs, altering the structure of satisfaction (needs, demand, desire). In what follows, we will try to identify in contemporary project epistemology the process that leads to this anomaly; through sketches, outlines or configuration maps, in relation to time. It will also be confirmed if such an investment constitutes the time trap.Barrera Puigdollers, JM. (2022). The time trap in the epistemology of the contemporary project. VLC arquitectura.
