Secular state and autonomy of the religious confessions. On occasion of a recent sentence of the Colombian Constitutional Court

La jurisprudencia de la Corte Constitucional de Colombia ha defendido continuamente la autonomía de las iglesias como uno de los aspectos del derecho fundamental de libertad religiosa y de la laicidad del Estado. Sin embargo, en una reciente sentencia (Corte Constitucional de Colombia, Sentencia T-658 de 2013, 2013), al resolver la acción de tutela de una religiosa en contra de su monasterio, se ordenó el reintegro de la demandante a su comunidad con el fin de garantizarle su derecho a una vida digna. Las cuestiones problemáticas principales que plantea la sentencia son las siguientes: el adecuado respeto de la libertad religiosa y la efectiva autonomía de las iglesias y confesiones; los límites al derecho de libertad religiosa; el papel de los ordenamientos confesionales (en concreto, del Derecho Canónico) en relación con el derecho del Estado, y el modo de entender el principio de laicidad por parte de la sentencia comentada. El trabajo se detiene en cada uno de estos aspectos y trata de ofrecer criterios alternativos de resolución del conflicto, compatibles con la libertad religiosa de personas e instituciones.The jurisprudence of the Colombian Constitutional Court has continuously defended the autonomy of churches as one of the aspects of the fundamental religious freedom right and the state’s secularity right. Nevertheless, a recent sentence (Colombian Constitutional Court, Sentence T-658, 2013), by resolving the action of protection of a nun against her monastery, the reinstatement of the plaintiff to her community was ordered in order to guarantee her right to a dignified life. The main problematic matters brought up by the sentence include the following: the adequate respect for religious freedom and the effective autonomy of churches and confessions; the limits of the religious freedom right; the role of the confessional code (in particular, the Canon Law) with regard to the State’s right and the way of understanding the secularity principle based on the sentence in question. The article deals with each of these matters and intends to offer alternative criteria for resolving the conflict, compatible with the religious freedom of both people and institutions

Relación entre la función hepática e inmunocompetencia tras el trasplante de hígado

En situaciones como la cirrosis hepática (donde la enfermedad no se detiene) la única posibilidad terapéutica es el trasplante de hígado total o parcial. Los injertos hepáticos pueden ser reconocidos como extraños y rechazados por nuestro sistema inmunitario, lo que nos obliga a inmunosuprimir a los individuos trasplantados. La inmunosupresión es un arma de doble filo, porque un exceso de puede dejar a los pacientes expuestos a infecciones, y un defecto permitir el rechazo del trasplante. La inmunosupresión se puede medir por la técnica Immuknow, que predice el riesgo de infección y en menor medida el de rechazo. En este contexto en el presente trabajo hemos realizado esta técnica en la cohorte de pacientes trasplantados (N= 150) en el periodo 2014-2018 en el servicio de Hepatología del HURH. En esa misma muestra hemos medido la función hepática con diversos parámetros analíticos. Y hemos correlacionado ambos resultados estratificando los pacientes en 2 grupos: los seguidos menos de 1 año (N=50) o más de un año post trasplante (N= 65). Motive of the SL4SL_4-character variety of torus knots

In this paper, we compute the motive of the character variety of representations of the fundamental group of the complement of an arbitrary torus knot into $SL_4(k)$, for any algebraically closed field $k$. For that purpose, we introduce a stratification of the variety in terms of the type of a canonical filtration attached to any representation. Efectos de un programa de ejercicio físico a domicilio en cuidadores de pacientes de Alzheimer : un estudio piloto

Alzheimer's disease not only affects the patients who suffer from it; it also has a marked impact on their family environment. The caregiver's quality of life and their emotional well-being are seriously affected. Many earlier studies have studied this issue from different perspectives: cognitive-behavioral, psycho-educational models, individual and/or group interventions, programmes based on physical activity, etc.. In many cases, the caregiver's main handicap or difficulty is attending these programmes. This study aims to assess the applicability and effectiveness of an individual home-care exercise programme as regards the psychological profile and self-perceived burden of a group of 32 informal caregivers. A high level of attendance was achieved and significant improvements in depression levels were achieved. The improvement expected in the self-perceived burden and anxiety levels were not significant. This programme's main contribution is its capacity to help female caregivers stick to physical activities

Aportación interdisciplinar al currículum de la formación profesional de los liceos franceses. El proyecto artístico y cultural

La Educación Artística y Cultural se integra en las prácticas escolares como una dimensión fundamental en la formación de los alumnos. Se entiende que las artes son la puerta que da paso a otros conocimientos, al mismo tiempo, que posibilita el acceso hacia otras culturas e idiomas. Este artículo trata de exponer el papel preponderante que la Educación Artístico-Cultural está jugando en los últimos años en el sistema escolar francés. Nos hemos centrado en el desarrollo de este sector de la educación en el caso concreto de los Liceos franceses de Enseñanza Profesional, donde se ha introducido con gran fuerza.The Artistic and Cultural Education is in the school practices as a fundamental dimension the formation of the pupils.
