Hotel business, one of the tourism sectors, plays an important role in fulfilling and satisfying the tourist need. Food and beverage department is one of the facilities in the hotel that support guest satisfaction. The objectives of this final project are to describe the guest responds and the excellence of food and beverage service. The excellence service is one of the supporting factors in hotel reputation. The good image can automatically attract the guest from domestic tourist and foreign to stay. It can be drawn from the guest card comments about the service given by food and beverage service department. The researcher observed the excellence of food and beverage from work observation directly and from documents to get the data. Based on the analysis of the data, it can be concluded that Sahid Kusuma hotel has the excellence service. With these results, it is hoped that the hotel can increase the quality of service especially for food and beverage, increase the income and promote the menu to the development of Sahid Kusuma Hotel

    This final project is written based on the job training which has been done from January until February, 2010. The objectives of this final project report are to describe the activities in English teaching and learning of the fourth grade students in SDN Serenan 1 Klaten, to know the problems of English teaching activities faced by English teacher and to find out the solutions to solve the problems. The data were collected by observing class and interviewing the English teacher and the fourth grade students. The writer used handbook from the school to teach the students and the book is, “Kreatif Berbahasa Inggris” p ublished by Saudara. There were five steps in the activity of English teaching and learning, namely: warming up, presentation, skill practices, closing and assessment. During the process of English teaching and learning, the writer faced some problems, such as the difficulties of the students in memorizing English words, the problems of students in writing and pronouncing English, classroom management, and limited facilities. However, there are some solutions to solve the problem, namely: using pictures and games and adding more facilities. The result of this final project report is that pictures can catch the students’ attention, makes they focus and interesting more on the lesson, and help the students understand the material easier. Besides, using pictures and games can make the students more fun and enjoy during the lesson. It makes the students do not feel bore

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif pembuatan pola dasar teknik konstruksi di SMK N 1 Wonosari, 2) Mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif pembuatan pola dasar teknik konstruksi di SMK N 1 Wonosari, 3) Mengetahui pendapat siswa tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif pembuatan pola dasar teknik konstruksi dalam proses pembelajaran di SMK N 1 Wonosari. Pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif pembuatan pola dasar teknik konstruksi pada mata pelajaran membuat pola busana bayi dan pola dasar di SMK Negeri 1 wonosari ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan atau research and development (R and D). penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Wonosari. Tahapan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari; (1) analisis kebutuhan; (2) perencanaan; (3) pengembangan Produk; (4) uji validitas ahli; (5) revisi produk; (6) uji terbatas; (7) revisi produk; (8) uji kelompok kecil; (9) revisi produk; (10) uji kelompok besar; (11) produk akhir. Proses validasi dilakukan oleh 3 orang ahli materi dan 3 orang ahli media. Untuk pengujian lapangan dilakukan dengan uji terbatas yaitu 2 orang guru pengampu, uji kelompok kecil dengan 12 siswa dan untuk uji kelompok besar dilakukan dengan 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data evaluasi formatif dilakukaan dengan menggunakan lembar penilaian untuk aspek isi materi, aspek desain layar dan aspek pengoperasian program. Secara umum hasil dari uji coba produk ini masuk dalam kategori layak sekali untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan perincian; (a) untuk kualitas materi yang divalidasi oleh ahli materi termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan rerata 3,44 ; (b) kualitas media yang divalidasi oleh ahli media termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan rerata 3,69; (c) untuk hasil uji coba terbatas masuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan rerata 3,76 ; (d) untuk hasil uji coba kelompok kecil masuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan rerata 3,64, untuk pendapat siswa dalam uji coba kelompok kecil masuk dalam sekali kategori sangat layak dengan rerata 3,70; (e) untuk hasil uji coba kelompok besar masuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan rerata 3,77, untuk pendapat siswa uji coba kelompok besar masuk dalam kategori sangat layak dengan rerata 3,83 dengan perincian; (a) aspek isi materi menunjukkan rerata penilaian 3,76 ; (b) aspek desain layar menunjukkan rerata penilaian 3,77; (c) pengoperasian program menunjukkan rerata penilaian 3,77.     The purpose of this study is to link financial literacy, financial attitudes, self�efficacy and financial management behavior. This research was conducted through questionnaires given to 234 UMKM respondents who met the sampling criteria and were taken using purposive random sampling techniques. The collected data was analyzed using the SmartPLS 4 method. The results of the analysis showed a significant relationship between financial literacy and financial attitudes towards financial management behavior,In addition, self-efficacy also showed that it did not mediate the relationship between financial literacy, financial attitudes towards financial management behavior. This shows that an individual's confidence in his or her ability to manage finances plays an important role in linking knowledge and attitudes with concrete actio

    This final project is written based on the job training that the writer has done as a temporary English teacher in SDN Tegalrejo Surakarta. This final project is a report of the writer’s English teaching and learning activities there. All of the activities in the class are done based on the lesson plans that are made before. They are: warming up to get the attention of the students, presentation to give the materials to the students and evaluation to evaluate the result of the activity. Besides, the writer includes some activities, such as playing games and singing songs. It is useful for students in order that they can practice and more familiar to English. During the English teaching and learning activities, there are some problems faced by the students and the teacher. The students’ problems are: their opinion, lazy students, uncooperative students. Meanwhile the teacher’s problems are: the limited time and teaching materials. The solutions for the students’ problems are: motivating the students to learn English more diligently, giving some exercises and homework, giving special attention to uncooperative students. The solutions for the teacher’s problems are: hold an extra English class and lends the handbooks to the students. From the discussion in this project report, we can know the importance of teaching English language to the primary level especially elementary students, because English is a basic asset for them to prepare to the next stages of education

    Peningkatan kadar kalium (K) pada Feldspar dengan metode pertukaran Ion sistem kolom

    Feldspar banyak digunakan sebagai bahan pelebur pada industri keramik, salah satu syarat utarnanya adalah kadar kalium di dalamnya harus Iebih tinggi daripada kadar kalsium. Mineral feldspar yang banyak terdapat di Indonesia menunjukkan hal yang sebaliknya, sehingga perlu diolah agar kadar kaliumnya meningkat. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan peningkatan kadar kalium pada feldspar dengan metode pertukaran ion sistem kolom. Pertukaran ion sistem kolom dilakukan dengan memvariasi pH dan konsentrasi KC1 yang digunakan. Jenis mineral yang terkandung dalam feldspar dikarakterisasi menggunakan metode X-ray difi-action (XRD), sedangkan banyaknya kation K+ dan Ca2+ yang tertukar ditentukan dengan metode tak langsung yaitu dengan menganalisis filtrat. hasil pertukaran dengan spelctrofotometri serapan atom. Kondisi optimum pertukaran ion dicapai pada pH 11 dan konsentrasi KC1 15000 ppm dengan peningkatan kadar kalium sebesar 1,070 mek dan pengurangan kadar kalsium sebesar 1,15.10 mek. Feldspar is well known as a melting material at ceramics industries, the main specification is that the content of potassium must be higher than the calsium. On the other hand, Indonesian feldspar contains much calsium and lack of potassium so that ion exchange column system is used to increase the potassium content of the feldspar. The ion exchange column system was done by preparing the various pH and concentration of KCI. The type of minerals contained in feldspar had been characterized by XRD, whereas the changes of K+ and Cat concentrations were measured by analyzing the filtrate on undirect method by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometiy (AAS). Optimum condition of the ion exchange was reached at the concentration of KCI and pH, 15000 ppm and 11 respectively. In that condition the increase of potassium content was 1.070 mek while the decrease of calcium content was 1.15.104 mek. vi This dlocument is Undip Institutional Repository Collection.
