The purpose of the work is to analyze the intonation-lexical layer of a piece not in terms of its unique essence, but as a complex symbolic space, characterized by semantic layering. The research methodology consists in application of the intonation-semantic analysis, in the context of which connotative structures are discovered, that allows to understand its semantic layers. Scientific novelty lies in the identification of the underlying semantic structures of musical text, which enable to understand its value measurements, to analyze a dynamic process of its definition and to move from understanding of individual elements of the musical language to the semantic concepts of a musical text. Conclusions. Based on the analysis of the concert piece "Caprice" for solo violin by a contemporary Ukrainian composer Miroslav Skorik the research has found the openness of the structural elements of musical speech, which are able to accumulate new meanings and acquire the value of the elements of other art system. The potential of the rhizobial strain Ensifer meliloti P221 as a bacterium capable of degrading phenanthrene in the presence of a heavy metal (nickel) and exhibiting plant-growth promoting activity toward Sorghum bicolor under mixed contamination condition was studied. It was shown that nickel at a concentration of 0.1 mM inhibited the microbial growth and phenanthrene degradation by 43 and 34%, respectively. Analysis of the enzymes involved in the phenanthrene degradation by the rhizobium revealed the activity of the phenanthrenequinone reductase (PQR) and protocatechuate 2,3-dioxigenase (2,3-PCD). It was found that nickel at concentrations up to 0.2 mM did not affect significantly the PQR activity, but inhibited it by 30% when the metal concentration increased to 5 mM. Nickel at concentrations up to 5.0 mM did not affect significantly on the activity of 2,3-PCD. E. meliloti promoted elongation of sorghum seedling roots by 69% in medium co-contaminated with phenanthrene and nickel. The results obtained assume that the rhizobial strain studied can exhibit its PAH-degrading and plant-growth promoting activities in the environment co-contaminated with nickel and phenanthrene. This microorganism may be promising for bioremediation and phytoremediation of mixed PAH–heavy metal contamination

To keep needed level of peroxide lipid oxidation is necessary for the normal functioning of physiological systems. It is supported by the balance of anti-and prooxidant systems. The positive influence of lipid peroxidation processes in the organism is manifested by the restoration of the composition and maintenance of the properties of biological membranes, participation in energy processes, cell division, synthesis of biologically active substances. It has been established that the inflammatory process is accompanied by changes in lipid metabolism and the intensity of peroxide oxidation

BACKGROUND: Characterisation of the specific antibody response, including the epitope binding pattern, is an essential task for understanding the molecular mechanisms of food allergy. Examination of antibody formation in a controlled environment requires animal models. The purpose of this study was to examine the amount and types of antibodies raised against three cow’s milk allergens; β-lactoglobulin (BLG), α-lactalbumin (ALA) and β-casein upon oral or intraperitoneal (i.p.) administration. A special focus was given to the relative amount of antibodies raised against linear versus conformational epitopes. METHODS: Specific antibodies were raised in Brown Norway (BN) rats. BN rats were dosed either (1) i.p. with the purified native cow’s milk allergens or (2) orally with skimmed milk powder (SMP) alone or together with gluten, without the use of adjuvants. The allergens were denatured by reduction and alkylation, resulting in unfolding of the primary structure and a consequential loss of conformational epitopes. The specific IgG1 and IgE responses were analysed against both the native and denatured form of the three cow’s milk allergens, thus allowing examination of the relative amount of linear versus conformational epitopes. RESULTS: The inherent capacity to induce specific IgG1 and IgE antibodies were rather similar upon i.p. administration for the three cow’s milk allergens, with BLG = ALA > β-casein. Larger differences were found between the allergens upon oral administration, with BLG > ALA > β-casein. Co-administration of SMP and gluten had a great impact on the specific antibody response, resulting in a significant reduced amount of antibodies. Together results indicated that most antibodies were raised against conformational epitopes irrespectively of the administration route, though the relative proportions between linear and conformational epitopes differed remarkably between the allergens. CONCLUSIONS: This study showed that the three-dimensional (3D) structure has a significant impact on the antibodies raised for both systemic and orally administered allergens. A remarkable difference in the antibody binding patterns against linear and conformational epitope was seen between the allergens, indicating that the structural characteristics of proteins may heavily affect the induced antibody response

It has been stated that changes of lipid exchange and increasing of lipid peroxidation are accompanied by the inflammatory process, which show the increase of proatherogenic blood characteristics. In patients with chronic non-specific inflammatory diseases of genitals disorders of phagocytosis mechanisms, increasing of autointoxication and reaction of hypersensitivity of immediate type are revealed after full blood count index. On the basis of analyses results one can conclude that the increase of atherogenic properties of blood plasma in patients with chronic non-specific inflammatory diseases of genitals took place in accordance with vascular endothelium damage. The article is the first to show the effectiveness of complex treatment of different atherosclerotic pathogenesis links by means of correction of proatherogenic lipid fractions and antioxidative complexes

Structure of levitated Si-Ge melts studied by high-energy x-ray diffraction in combination with reverse Monte Carlo simulations

The short-range order in liquid Si, Ge and binary Six-Ge1-x alloys (x = 0.25, 0.50, 0.75) was studied by x-ray diffraction and reverse Monte Carlo simulations. Experiments were performed in the normal and supercooled liquid states by using the containerless technique of aerodynamic levitation with CO2 laser heating, enabling deeper supercooling of liquid Si and Si-Ge alloys than previously reported. The local atomic structure of liquid Si and Ge resembles the beta-tin structure. The first coordination numbers of about 6 for all compositions are found to be independent of temperature indicating the supercooled liquids studied retain this high-density liquid (HDL) structure. However, there is evidence of developing local tetrahedral ordering, as manifested by a shoulder on the right side of the first peak in S(Q) which becomes more prominent with increasing supercooling. This result is potentially indicative of a continuous transition from the stable HDL beta-tin (high pressure) phase, towards a metastable low-density liquid phase, reminiscent of the diamond (ambient pressure) structure

The change in strategic guidelines in Russian education is associated with a revision of the goals of teaching and upbringing. However, the emphasis of reforms has shifted towards the formation of the required professional competences at this stage in the development of the education system of the Russian Federation. We think that it is possible to achieve the set goal of higher education through the development of the introspectiveness as a quality of the personality of students. The formation of the introspectiveness in a future specialist will have an effect on the successful mastery, expansion and transformation of social experience, as well as the internal plan of action. Thus, demonstrating the formed introspectiveness as a personality trait, the student is able to organize his educational activities independently, activities to cognize the surrounding reality and his inner world, as well as self-determine in various life situations, including the development of general cultural and professional competences. In this regard, the emphasis in the issue of developing the introspectiveness of students is made on specifying the conditions that must be created at a higher education institution for the manifestation and formation of this personality quality. The purpose of the article is to study the level of the introspectiveness of university students and develop psychological and pedagogical conditions that develop this personality quality. The leading techniques for the study of this problem were the following: Q-sort Technique; the technique for diagnostics of an individual measure of the introspectiveness degree. At the stage of the ascertaining experiment, the levels of the introspectiveness of university students were revealed. The results of the ascertaining experiment convincingly demonstrated the need to organize special work to develop the introspectiveness of students. The authors substantiated that the success of developing students’ introspectiveness is ensured by the created psychological and pedagogical conditions. A model of developing the introspectiveness as a personality quality of a future professional has been developed and tested.
