Tunneling through Color Glass Condensate and True Black Disks
We discover new vacuum solutions of the JIMWLK equation, which correspond to
center of a gauge group. We improve the color glass condensate (CGC) model by
an explicit usage of a density matrix. Studying scattering of CGC states in an
external color field, we observe that an amplitude is naturally expressed via
group characters. We construct an example that shows how new thin effects may
be potentially observed in peripheral collisions. We prove that at any parton
density a gluonic CGC state does not become a true black disk. We find a wave
function of a true black disk and show that it necessarily contains many
quarks. This result corresponds to the necessity of nonvacuum Reggeon loops in

Influence of probe pressure on diffuse reflectance spectra of human skin measured in vivo
Mechanical pressure superficially applied on the human skin surface by a fiber-optic probe influences the spatial distribution of blood within the cutaneous tissues. Upon gradual load of weight on the probe, a stepwise increase in the skin reflectance spectra is observed. The decrease in the load follows the similar inverse staircase-like tendency. The observed stepwise reflectance spectra changes are due to, respectively, sequential extrusion of blood from the topical cutaneous vascular beds and their filling afterward. The obtained results are confirmed by Monte Carlo modeling. This implies that pressure-induced influence during the human skin diffuse reflectance spectra measurements in vivo should be taken into consideration, in particular, in the rapidly developing area of wearable gadgets for real-time monitoring of various human body parameters
Symplectic approach to lightcone QCD
We develop a symplectic method of quantization of lightcone QCD. We find that
boundary gauge fields are crucial for a consistent and complete quantization.
By applying the symplectic Faddeev-Jackiw method, we very carefully remove
unphysical degrees of freedom and obtain the true phase space and the complete
Hamiltonian. The result is important for the high energy QCD evolution and for
a further extension of the JIMWLK equation, for which we find the second-order
correction. Finally, we make an important note about a peculiarity of four
space-time dimensions. In additional, our method sheds new light on the

Monitoring of temperature-mediated phase transitions of adipose tissue by combined optical coherence tomography and Abbe refractometry
Observation of temperature-mediated phase transitions between lipid components of the adipose tissues has been performed by combined use of the Abbe refractometry and optical coherence tomography. The phase transitions of the lipid components were clearly observed in the range of temperatures from 24°C to 60°C, and assessed by quantitatively monitoring the changes of the refractive index of 1-to 2-mm-thick porcine fat tissue slices. The developed approach has a great potential as an alternative method for obtaining accurate information on the processes occurring during thermal lipolysis

(BB)-Carboryne Complex of Ruthenium: Synthesis by Double B-H Activation at a Single Metal Center
The first example of a transition metal (BB)-carboryne complex containing two boron atoms of the icosahedral cage connected to a single exohedral metal center (POBBOP)Ru(CO)2 (POBBOP = 1,7-OP(i-Pr)2-2,6-dehydro-m-carborane) was synthesized by double B-H activation within the strained m-carboranyl pincer framework. Theoretical calculations revealed that the unique three-membered (BB)>Ru metalacycle is formed by two bent B-Ru σ-bonds with the concomitant increase of the bond order between the two metalated boron atoms. The reactivity of the highly strained electron-rich (BB)-carboryne fragment with small molecules was probed by reactions with electrophiles. The carboryne-carboranyl transformations reported herein represent a new mode of cooperative metal-ligand reactivity of boron-based complexes
