The Second Vatican Council and Today’s Roman Catholic Church in America
Od momentu powstania Stany Zjednoczone były krajem słynącym z wyjątkowej
wolności religijnej. Dominowały jednak różnorodne wyznania protestanckie. Pierwsi
katolicy przybyli do Ameryki Północnej wraz z Hiszpanami w 1513 r., rozpoczynając
dyskursu intelektualnego. Współpraca dyplomatyczna prezydenta Ronalda Reagana i papieża
Jana Pawła II przyczyniła się do upadku komunizmu w Europie
The background of regulating non-bank loan institutions in Poland
Non-bank loan institutions in Poland often face a bad reputation or a lack of trust, are compared to "parabanks" and frequently recognised as companies operating at the borders of the law. Despite their membership in the financial sector, until recently, public supervision had little control over loan companies and had little knowledge about the scale of their operations. The greater restrictiveness of the new regulations caused a slowdown in the development of loan companies. Changes such as the introduction of bank levy and the amendment to the Consumer Credit Act of 2016 had a signifiant impact on the financial results and the structure of products offered by loan companies. Along with the new regulations, however, there is doubt regarding whether these changes, which are intended to organise the market for non-bank loans, will actually lead to an exodus of loan institutions from the market and to significant limitation and financial exclusion on the part of Polish consumers.Non-bank loan institutions in Poland often face a bad reputation or a lack of trust, are compared to "parabanks" and frequently recognised as companies operating at the borders of the law. Expanding horizons in intermediate mathematics
This project is aimed at providing teachers with activities that could be used to increase students’ understanding of mathematics. The activities listed are aimed for students in fifth through eighth grade. Many of the concepts presented have strong upper level mathematical background, but a complete understanding of the background of the material is not necessary to effectively present the material to students. A teacher who understands the material that is presented to the students in the everyday textbooks should find these supplement activities interesting and enjoyable to teach their students.B.S. Innovation of "Parking" Laboratory Models
Dále vytvořené vizualizace pro HMI i PC.This bachelor thesis deals with models of a parking lot used in the BPGA course as a learning kit,its innovation, realization of a universal connection to all sorts of the PLC SIMATIC S7-1500 in the laboratory and programming of model tasks in four programming languages: LAD, STL, GRAPH and SCL. The differences in programming in each of the languages are also analysed. Further on the making of a visualisation in WinCC is described for these model tasks. The result of this bachelor thesis are two fully-functionial models that can be used for teaching students with a connection to the PLC S7-1500 and their respective documentation. Finally, the model task and its corresponding program in languages LAD, STL, GRAPH and SCL is included + the created visualisation for HMI and PC.
Early stages of somatic embryogenesis in root callus of grasspea (Lathyrus sativus L.)
Callus cultures from root explants of Lathyrus sativus L. ‘Derek’ were tested for their morphogenic capacity. Primary explants (fragments of roots) were cultivated on three induction media. We obtained three lines of callus tissue among which we identified two non-embryogenic lines and one embryogenic line. Callus originally cultivated on modified MS medium supplemented with 0.05 mg*L-1 picloram, formed embryo-like structures upon transfer to media containing 0.1 mg*L-1 picloram or 0.9 mg*L-12,4-D. Histological examinations confirmed embryogenity of obtained structures. Previous studies had revealed that, notwithstanding efficient callus induction and proliferation, its capacity to differentiate shoots or somatic embryos is limited. Consequently, rhizogenesis was only form of complete organogenesis obtained in our experiments. However attempts to develop the methods for indirect plant regeneration in L. sativus would allow creation of new genetic variations required to improvement of this species
Explant-dependent receptivity to isolation and a cell-wall resynthesis in protoplast culture of recalcitrant yellow lupin
Cell-wall resynthesis was studied in protoplast culture of yellow lupin (Lupinus luteus L.). We optimized protoplast isolation and found that explants excised from young seedling were more suitable sources of protoplasts, in contrast to callus tissue. Incubation in 2% cellulase R-10, 1% pectinase and 0.5% macerozyme solution for 3h effectively released protoplasts from majority of tested explants. Furthermore, we determined the optimal developmental age of explants which was 4, 21, 25 and 35 days for hypocotyls, cotyledons, in-vitro leaf mesophyll and ex-vitro leaf mesophyll, respectively. Explant type, culture medium and genotype influenced both a rate and a pattern of the cell wall regeneration. After 10 days of culture, the number of regenerated cells reached 44%-59% in hypocotyl, 84%-91% in cotyledonary, and 31%-42% in mesophyll protoplasts. Our results show that the earlier wall regeneration begins, the wall surface will be more incomplete. We suggest that unbalanced and inefficient cell-wall resynthesis likely contributes to recalcitrance of yellow lupin to manipulations in protoplast technology
