    ECG measurement and processing in LabView

    Tato práce, jak již z názvu vyplývá, je zaměřena na zpracování EKG signálu a detekci QRS komplexu. První část je věnována samotnému anatomickému popisu srdce. Vlivem podráždění svaloviny srdce dochází k postupnému stahování a uvolňování srdečních síní a komor. Během těchto stavů je možné měřit určitou elektrickou aktivitu srdce. Ta se nazývá EKG. Tato křivka je složena z několika charakteristických vln, z nichž dominantní je vlna R. Parametry této vlny jsou řídící při popisu činnosti srdce. Proto je další část práce věnována možnosti její detekce. Proces detekce se dělí na dvě části. Předzpracování, ve kterém je signál upraven na patřičný tvar a detekci, kdy dochází k popisu výskytu R vlny. Při těchto úkonech se využívají různé filtry a metody, které jsou nastíněny v následujících kapitolách. Výstupní program vypracovaný v programovacím prostředí Labview je založen na separaci R vlny z EKG, která se následně porovnává s prahovou hodnotou. Naměřené hodnoty jsou posléze použity pro výpočet tepové frekvence a vytvoření geometrického popisu HRV.The thesis, as its title shows, is focused on the ECG signal processing and the QRS complex detection. Its first part provides the anatomical description of the heart itself. Due to the irritation of the heart muscle, the atrium of the heart and the ventricles gradually contract and relax. In these stages, it is possible to measure a certain electric activity of the heart. This is called the ECG. The curve consists of several distinctive waves, the R wave being prevalent among them. Its parameters are predominant for describing the heart activity. Therefore, the next part of the thesis turns to the possibilities of its detection. The detection process is divided in two parts, the first of them being the pre-processing. Here, the signal is arranged in the right shape. This is followed by the detection, which describes the R wave occurrence. These operations use various filters and methods, as described in the following chapters. The output program, designed in the Labview programming environment, is based on the separation of the R wave from the ECG. This is subsequently compared to the threshold value. The values measured here are later used for the heart rate calculation and creating the geometrical description of the HRV

    EXAMINATION OF THE VISUAL ACUITY ON THE LCD OPTOTYPE WITH WHOLE-LINE AND INTERPOLATION METHOD

    The goal of this work is to show the possibility of us using the LCD optotype in common optometrist practice. Furthermore two commonly used methods for measuring visual acuity will be compared. 69 respondents were used for the measurements. The respondents were divided into two groups according to the measured LCD optotype. The visual acuity was measured using the whole-line method on modified Snellen charts as well as the interpolation method on ETDRS charts. Measurements were taken on the Sloan letters and on the Landolt rings. The charts for the before mentioned methods were selected according to everyday optometrist practice. The results show the test-retest variability (reliability) of given methods. By comparing the results the precision of a given method can by estimated. The results show that the two methods do not give the same resulting values of visual acuity. Measuring the visual acuity has great importance since it serves as a basis for following examinations for eye pathologies.ontact lenses usually serve for vision correction. Other possibilities of contact lenses use are in therapeutic as well as in diagnostic areas. Important factors for comfortable and safe use of contact lenses are correct application and correctly chosen type of contact lenses. However, a system of care plays also a very important role. The care does not include only the lens itself but also a contact lens case that is used to store contact lenses when they are not in use

    Limit periodic linear difference systems with coefficient matrices from commutative groups

    In this paper, limit periodic and almost periodic homogeneous linear difference systems are studied. The coefficient matrices of the considered systems belong to a given commutative group. We find a condition on the group under which the systems, whose fundamental matrices are not almost periodic, form an everywhere dense subset in the space of all considered systems. The treated problem is discussed for the elements of the coefficient matrices from an arbitrary infinite field with an absolute value. Nevertheless, the presented results are new even for the field of complex numbers

    Non-oscillation of half-linear differential equations with periodic coefficients

    We consider half-linear Euler type differential equations with general periodic coefficients. It is well-known that these equations are conditionally oscillatory, i.e., there exists a border value given by their coefficients which separates oscillatory equations from non-oscillatory ones. In this paper, we study oscillatory properties in the border case. More precisely, we prove that the considered equations are non-oscillatory in this case. Our results cover the situation when the periodic coefficients do not have any common period

    Intravitreal Bevacizumab with or without Triamcinolone for Refractory Diabetic Macular Oedema

    We evaluate the effect of intravitreal injections of Bevacizumab (IVB) alone or combined with triamcinolone (IVT) in the first injection for treatment of refractory diabetic macular oedema (DME). Sixty eyes of sixty patients with refractory DME were included. Half of them received injections of IVB (1.25 mg/0.05 ml) or combined IVB and IVT (1.25 mg/0.05 ml and 2 mg/0.05 ml respectively). The primary outcome measure was change in central macular thickness (CMT). Secondary outcome measures were change in best-corrected logMAR visual acuity (BCVA) and incidence of potential adverse events. Central macular thickness was reduced significantly in both the IVB and IVB/IVT groups. At week 24, CMT change compared to the baseline was –93.7 mm(95% CI, –172.2 to –19.26) in the IVB group and –93.1 mm(95% CI, –154.4 to –29.7) in the IVB/IVT group. There was not a significant difference between the IVB and the IVB/IVT groups. Improvement of BCVA was initiated at weeks 6 and 12 in the IVB/IVT and IVB groups respectively. Anterior chamber reaction was noticed in six (20%) and six (20%) eyes respectively in the IVB and IVB/IVT groups the day after injection, and it resolved with no sequel. Elevation of intraocular pressure (IOP) occurred in two eyes (6%) in the IVB/ IVT group. Intravitreal injections of Bevacizumab had a beneficial effect on refractory DME in terms of CMT reduction and BCVA improvement. Addition of triamcinolone in the injection seemed to induce earlier visual improvement; however, it did not show any significant additive effect later during follow-up

    First part of presentation reminds basic strabismus terms as amblyopia, eccentrically fixation or anomaly retinal correspondence. After that we will discuss processes and methods of treatment these pathological conditions, which precedes orthoptic training. Briefly we will talk about pleoptic treatment with occlusion and treatment with many pleoptic devices. Last part of presentation is dedicated to orthoptic training – prerequisites of orthoptic training, methods, which we use in Czech Republic – therapy with a troposcope, therapy with cheiroscope, training with stereoscopes, Remy's separator, diploscope and training of stereo vision of simple binocular vision, consolidation of simple binocular vision by reading with image divider, and also training of motility and convergence. Part of this section is specialized to introducing orthoptic workplaces in Czech Republic for these patients. After that we will discuss how you can gain the license for providing the orthoptic therapy in Czech Republic

A poslední část obsahuje výkon turbíny a její účinnosti.The topic of thesis is condensing turbine in gas-steam cycle, which can be divided into four basic parts. A history of gas-steam cycle is described in the beginning. Second part is all about calculation of heat recovery steam generator. Penultimate section deals with calculations of steam turbine parameters and reaction blading type. Last part contains electric power and steam turbine efficiency.
