Los objetivos de actividades de laboratorio diseñadas para la adquisición de competencia científica mediante experimentos en tiempo real : visión del alumnado

El principal objetivo del presente estudio es saber si alumnos que utilizan protocolos de laboratorio que han sido diseñados según los hallazgos de las investigaciones en didáctica para experimentos en tiempo real, son capaces de captar los objetivos de las actividades que han realizado. Se hadiseñado un marco para la elaboración de actividades, y se han creado actividades de física y química. Los alumnos de distintos países que han implementado distintas actividades son capaces de enumerar correctamente los objetivos de las mismas, asimismo la mayoría dice que los equipos con sensores les han ayudado a interpretar los resultados de los experimentos

Novel instrument for automated pKa determination by internal standard capillary electrophoresis

The internal standard capillary electrophoresis method (IS-CE) has been implemented in a novel sequential injection−capillary electrophoresis instrument for the high-throughput determination of acidity constants (pKa) regardless of aqueous solubility, number of pKa values, or structure. This instrument comprises a buffer creation system that automatically mixes within a few seconds four reagents for in situ creation of the separation electrolyte with a pH range of 2−13, ionic strength of 10−100 mM and organic solvent content from 0% to 40%. Combined with 1.2 kV/cm and a short effective length (15 cm to the UV detector) fast 20 s electrophoretic separations can be obtained. The low standard deviation of the replicates and the low variation compared to reference values show that this system can accurately determine acidity constants of drugs by IS-CE. A single pKa can be determined in 2 min and a set of 20 measurements in half an hour, allowing rapid, simple, and flexible determination of pKa values of pharmaceutical targets

Design of research-based lab sheets for the aquisition of science competencies using ICT real-time experiments : Do students get the point of what they are doing?

Konferenssikirja: http://www.esera.org/publications/esera-conference-proceedings/science-education-research-esera-2015/This study is part of a European project that aims to design new microcomputer-based laboratory (MBL) activities to be used in secondary and high school to enhance on students scientific competencies. The aim of this work is to design and to implement research-based teaching materials that take advantage of the use of MBL and promote scientific competencies in students. Researchers from six universities belonging to five EU countries have collaboratively designed a new research-based framework for MBL activities. Activities are context- based and inquiry guided. When students take experimental data, it is proposed a Predict-Observe-Explain (White & Gunstone, 1992) sequence. The main scientific competencies that the designed activities aim to enhance in students are the design of experiments, the interpretation of results and its communication. First versions of activities have been translated into national languages (German, Czech, Slovak, Finnish and Catalan) to be implemented. The study has been conducted with 865 students from five countries who have implemented the activities. Students answered a post-implementation questionnaire to elicit if they believed that they knew the objectives of the activities and if they really did. They were also asked if MBL helped them to interpret the results and if the activity could have been done without such equipment. Results obtained in this study suggest that the research-based learning materials designed to work with MBL are useful and of quality as most students in different countries understand the point of the activities, and most of them think that these activities help them to learn and that the activities could not be done without MBL. Nevertheless, differences in results have been obtained for some activities. The results of this research will be used to refine teaching materials.Peer reviewe

Pracovní právo je právem ochranářským. Tvrdým jádrem pracovního práva se proto stala oblast bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci. Faktor „zdraví“ představuje v pracovním právu podstatnou roli při utváření i realizaci vztahu při výkonu závislé práce a bezprostředně ovlivňuje nejen samotné pracovní podmínky, ale i postavení zaměstnance a zaměstnavatele a jejich nároky. Ochrana života a zdraví má ve struktuře pracovního práva výsostné postavení, což se projevuje ve všech oblastech úpravy výkonu závislé práce, od bezpečnosti a ochrany zdraví při práci, přes pracovní dobu, změny pracovního poměru, odměňování či sociální zajištění zaměstnanců. Text předložené publikace pojednává o řadě naznačených souvislostí vztahu zdraví a práce, popisuje základní problematiku a nabízí případná řešení a komplexní pochopení významu zdraví v pracovním právu.Labour Law is a protectionist branch of law. Health and safety at work has therefore become the hard core of this area of law. The factor of “health” plays an important role in the formation and realization of a legal relationship during the performance of dependent work and it also directly affects not only the working conditions but also the status of the employee and the employer and their claims. The protection of life and health has a sovereign status in the structure of labour law and this aspect is reflected in all areas of regulation of the performance of dependent work – starting with health and safety at work, and continuing with working time, changes in employment, remuneration and/or social security of employees. Practical use of Facebook application for starting businesses

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřená na praktické využití Facebook aplikací pro začínající společnosti a to zejména na Open Graph příběhy a jejich dopad na výkonnost firmy. Využití sociálních sítí komerčními subjekty je jedno z témat současného managementu, tato práce nabízí hlubší poznání pokročilejších nástrojů, které jsou k dispozici. Primárním cílem je změřit dopad na zisk firmy, způsobený experimentálním použitím nástroje Open Graph. Sekundárním je sdílet zkušenosti ze zavedení tohoto nástroje. Celkovým přínosem práce bude pomoc při rozhodnutí pro začínající podnikatele, zda pro ně tyto funkce mohou být výhodné a usnadnit jim vývoj aplikací, které budou tyto funkce obsahovat.The thesis focuses on practical use of Facebook applications for starting businesses and Open Graph stories in particular and their impact on financial performance of the company. The utilization of social networks by commercial subjects is one of the topics of current management, this thesis offers a deeper understanding of more advanced tools, that are available. Primary goal is to measure impact on profit of a company, caused by experimental implementation of Open Graph functions. Secondary goal is to share experience from the implementation of this tool. The overall benefit of the thesis is to help entrepreneurs to decide, whether these functions could be beneficial for them and to simplify development of applications, that will contain these functions
