KONSEP PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII SMP YPK KOTARAJA JAYAPURA PADA POKOK BAHASAN GETARAN DAN GELOMBANG TAHUN AJARAN 2018/2019

The purpose of this study were: (1) to find out an increase in students' conceptual mastery in the experimental class applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), (2) to find out the relationship between learning with CTL to students' conceptual mastery, and (3) to find out whether there is an influence of the application of CTL to students' conceptual mastery. This research uses quantitative data. The design of this study is one group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted at the Kotaraja Jayapura YPK Middle School. The population in this study were all students of class VIII while the samples in this study were all students of class VIII C. Samples were 31 students. The results showed that: (1) there was an increase in every concept from the results of the N-Gain test score with 0.65 on the concept of vibration; 0.67 on the transverse wave concept, and 0.68 on the longitudinal wave concept; while the average N-gain score is 0.67 and is categorized on the medium category, (2) sig. 0.084> 0.05; then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted; meaning that there is a very low relationship between variables X and Y, and (3) there is no influence between the variables X and Y with sig. values of 0.659> 0.05; then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected so that there is no significant effect. Based on the results of these studies indicate that the learning approach CTL can improve students' conceptual mastery.Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Vibration, Waves

The Factors Correlating to Low Back Pain in Nurses at Annisa Hospital Pekanbaru

The disease that generally occurs on the labors is low back pain. Low back pain is a condition of acute pain or chronic and inconvenience aroud lumbosacral, caused by inflammation, degenerative, malignancy, and gynecology disorder, trauma, or metabolism disorder. The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between work posture, IMT, work period, work length, work shift, age and the occurance of low back pain on the nurses at Annisa Hospital. The type of this research is quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The population in this research were all nurses at Annisa Hospital Pekanbaru in total 126 nurses by using Total Sampling technique. The research instruments used were questionnaire, scales, height gauge, RULA, andobservation sheet. The data were obtained through questionnaires. The analysis was by using chi-square test with α = 0.05 and logistic binary test. The research results show that the variables having significant correlation are work posture, IMT, and age. The results of this research can used to decrease the occurance of low back pain in nurses at the hospital. The conclusion of this research is the factors which have correlation tothe complain on low back pain in the nurses at Annisa Hospital are work posutre, IMT, and age. It is expected that nurses perform work attitude correctly and do exercise 3 to 5 times in a week for ≥ 30 minutes, and achieve ideal body weight. PENERAPAN METODE STRING MATCHING PADA APLIKASI KAMUS BAHASA KEDOKTERAN BERBASIS JAVA ME

Penerjemah kata istilah bahasa kedokteran ke bahasa indonesia berbasis Java ME merupakan aplikasi penerjemahan kata yang terdiri dari bahasa Indonesia, bahasa istilah kedokteran dan bahasa indonesia. Pada aplikasi ini terdapat fitur pencarian kata dimana penulis menggunakan metode auto stemming yang melakukan pelengkapan kata yang dicari secara otomatis, sehingga dapat meminimalisir kesalahan pengetikan kata oleh pengguna. Tujuan dari pembuatan aplikasi ini yaitu untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam mempelajari dan menerjemahkan kata-kata dari bahasa istilah-istilah kedokteran tersebut. Aplikasi Penerjemah istilah bahasa kedokteran ini dikembangkan dengan metodologi RUP, metodologi ini terdapat empat tahapan, yaitu: inception, elaboration, construction dan transition. Sedangkan bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan adalah bahasa Java ME. Dalam menganalisis kebutuhan digunakan UML diantaranya adalah diagram use case, activity diagram, sequence diagram, dan class diagram. Hasil yang dicapai adalah suatu aplikasi bergerak (mobile) yang memudahkan pengguna dalam mempelajari dan menerjemahkan istilah-istilah dari bahasa kedokteran, dengan hasil pencarian kata yang dilengkapi dengan metode auto stemming

Analisis Faktor – Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Penyerapan Tenaga Kerja Pada Industri Kecil Dan Menengah (Studi Kasus Industri Roti Di Kota Malang)

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang mana penelitian ini banyak menggunakan angka, mulai dari pengumpulan data, penafsiran terhadap data serta hasil akhirnya dilengkapi dengan tabel maupun grafik yang berupa angka.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat adanya pengaruh variabel modal, upah, produksi, lama usaha dan jumlah unit pemasaran terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja khususnya industri roti di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda dengan menggunakan SPSS. Data yang dianalisis adalah hasil observasi, wawancara, dan pembagian kuesioner dengan pihak industri roti Kota Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang mempengaruhi penyerapan tenaga kerja pada industri roti di Kota Malang ialah modal, upah, produksi, lama usaha dan jumlah unit pemasara
